My wife has Celiac so we have to be very diligent about where we eat. Mellow Mushroom simply has the best pizza I have had a many years, even the GF pizza was amazing.
The owner, David, was very friendly and accommodating. I am celiac and he assured me that 95% of the menu is gluten free. He offered up additional information on labeling to assure me. I told him I was semi hungry and he recommended the salmon kabobs. It came with two different sauces and rice with a salad. It was fresh and delicious. I will be a new “usual” customer now!
The food here is delicious. The gluten free chocolate torte cake I had when I visited tasted like the version my mother used to make when I was a child. And the breakfast sandwich was heavenly. Light but filling!
I am loving their salads and gluten free pizzas.
Unlike many others, their gluten free pizzas are an indulgence, which is exactly why I eat pizza. Delicious.
Went here for the first toddler-free date night in a while, and it was such a warm, welcoming, and relaxing environment (even with other young families around). Enjoyed dinner on a Tuesday evening and was impressed to see a full parking lot, but gratefully no wait for a table. The hosts opened the doors for us when we walked up, a truly nice touch of service!
They had an entire gluten free menu with a lot of options which was very appreciated. Our waitress was willing to get answers from the kitchen about it preferences before ordering. Everything we ordered we thoroughly enjoyed (2nd Street chips w/pimento cheese, the tomato soup (omg!), Grilled tofu dinner, with all the sides, beet and goat cheese salad, and veggie burger patty (the least exciting of all, but still good)).
We can not wait to return and absolutely recommend. Surprised to have just discovered this place. Has hotel restaurant vibes, but is welcoming and the staff was all fabulous.
Absolutely love this place! We went with my Sunday school class and they were very accommodating. Two in our group are gluten free and they had lots of options for them. The waitress Olivia was great especially for such a big group.
Excellent service and care. Started ordering by letting the staff know we have Celiac disease and the staff member immediately removed his gloves, washed his hands, and put on fresh gloves to serve us. He ensured he was the only one to touch our food containers through to check out. Plus, the food was stellar! So happy to have a safe place for my daughter to feel comfortable eating out.
We frequent Mission BBQ as it is one of the few places my Celiac wife can safely eat. They are very cautious when preparing her food and work diligently to avoid cross contamination. We have been going for years and never have had an issue. Thier food is always amazing and very favorful. They honor our active duty and veteran community. Being a 30 year retired veteran, it is great see an establishment that recognizes our vets. Every day at noon they play the Star Spangled Banner, it truely is awesome. Additionally thier staff is amazing. When you enter the restuarant you always get a very heartly Welcome. They make you feel at home. Thier entire crew is great at what they do. One crew member, Kera (forgot her last name) was on her game and made sure every aspect of our meal was taken care of and great attention was paid to ensure my wifes safety and enjoyment. This young lady certainly is amazing. I could see her running the restaurant one day.
Very clean and modern looking restaurant. Nice staff and delicious food. We had a mix of vegans and gluten free people in our large group and there was something delicious for everyone.
My husband and I love to eat here. Service is always superb! Portions are large and fairly priced. They offer gluten free pasta, which is a must for me. The gluten free penne a la vodka with chicken is my absolute favorite. If you live in the area, this should be your go-to place for Italian cuisine.
Wonderful new Thai restaurant close to home. They are celiac knowledgeable and offered to make almost anything on the menu gluten free. We all enjoyed our food and will return!
They have a gluten free pasta, and a gluten free pizza dough. I wasn't super impressed as I only had the gluten free penne with marinara which was pretty basic, but all the other items looked phenomenal, and the family loved it! I was able to get some grilled chicken in top also which was good. Family restaurant type vibe, good food, nothing to complain about. No negative reactions from gluten either 🙏🏼
Our waitress, Tadajha, was phenomenal! I have a gluten and shellfish allergy, and she was so diligent making sure my meal was safe for me. The kitchen makes sure they are prepping your food correctly, and I appreciate that so much! Great restaurant!
Good gluten free options, as well as sweet potato fries available. Delicious milkshake. Sorry for the image, required a to-go order this trip, but still juicy and delicious double burger.

The employee there was super helpful and even let us try some of the ingredients that were new to us! Excellent gluten free/vegan options! The food was really good, but I think they may have forgotten the sauce on mine. Overall a good experience!
Long story short. Our burgers almost touched which would have potential to make my wife sick.
The location was chosen by my wife who has celiac disease. It was chosen for its potential to be a gluten free eatery. However while she was making her selections, there was a allergy identification tool. When activated it identified the fries as not gluten free. This was our first red flag. The most basic of sides was not gluten free. Also because they have an allergy identification tool. This gluten avoidance has been identified as an allergy and not preference. I made my selections and we confirmed our order and paid. When the food was presented in the to go bag. My gluten bunned burger and my wife's gluten free bunned burger were very close to touching one another. Having a gluten allergy identifier and then displaying blatant disregard for said identified allergy is quite concerning. The food was very good.
