Gluten free tapas options and gluten free bread available. Even though it’s not 100% gluten free the staff were extremely helpful and made sure to wipe/clean stuff before cooking. I felt safe eating here and the tapas were beautiful. Simple ingredients done to perfection!
Excellent. We come from Madrid and my wife has celiac disease and by chance we found this place. Regardless of celiac disease, it is one of the restaurants where I have eaten the best in my entire life. Lime and avocado cannelloni first, seasonal artichokes, soupy rice on a small plate and the brownie.....super good. Great service, maritime guys and very professional. The price seems cheap vs the quality
Truly incredible food. I went here a couple of weeks ago with two friends (one gluten free, also perfectly catered for), and I have been thinking back to that meal everytime I've been hungry since. The cupcake starter and the sausage starter were highlights, and the pate is unbelievable. Go if you have a chance!
Amazing views and very delicious food. Special attention especially from Rocío and Manuel. Super nice and very attentive. Also on the gluten-free topic :) thank you!!
Great location in the atmospheric Feria district, great menu options including a number of gluten and dairy free options. I had the grilled fish with salad and it was DELICIOUS. Came with tasty complimentary marinated olives also. Highly recommend!
Nice, clean and welcoming restaurant.
Very good typical dishes, excellent seafood paella. We were served by Alejandro, a very kind guy who made sure and took care of the fact that our friend was celiac, making sure that she could also eat paella with us. Advise !
A restaurant in the heart of the Triana neighborhood, a must-visit if you're visiting Seville. They have many gluten-friendly options. From the moment I mentioned I was celiac, they told me all the options on the menu and gave me a bag of breadsticks and gluten-free bread. The products are of tremendous quality, local produce, and a wide variety. We ordered octopus salad, delicious (I highly recommend it), garlic shrimp with avocado, Huelva prawns in salt, dressed potatoes, fried fish (with chickpea flour, gluten-free), where I highlight the cuttlefish and anchovies, also spectacular, pipirrana, artichoke hearts with sirloin, and cheesecake for dessert. The waiters are super friendly and attentive, the service is fast, and they're clearly aware of allergies and cross-contamination. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Seville, but especially to celiacs like myself, who have fewer options when traveling. Finally, I'd like to highlight the very affordable prices for the tapas and portions. I highly recommend it and we'll be back.
We went as a family with a celiac member, they respected intolerance very well, the service was impeccable. The starters were delicious and so were the paellas. Flawless
The menu is based on sharing, so instead of a classic menu with appetizers - first course - second course, there are smaller and larger dishes that can be shared.
The dishes are very original and above all very good, there are many links to local traditions but also interesting reinterpretations. As for wines and beers, there is a very wide range of local products.
The service is very friendly and nice, the owners and waiters in addition to Spanish speak fluent English and French (something that is not found everywhere in Seville).
If you follow particular diets you will find vegetarian options, but also gluten-free or lactose-free (these two also together). Small note for those like me who have IBS syndrome and struggle to find options that fit into the diet, here I found two dishes and a dessert 90% compatible.
Very fair price! A small dish, two large ones, two desserts, beer and water €78 for two.
Absolutely recommended!
I enjoyed lunch at La Azotea restaurant in Seville. This restaurant is known for its creative and modern tapas.
La Azotea restaurant in Seville is conveniently located in the city's historic district, just steps from Seville Cathedral.
Located in the historic center of Seville, near the Cathedral, the address is: Calle Jesús del Gran Poder, 31, 41001 Seville, Spain and Calle Conde de Barajas, 13, 41002 Seville, Spain.
The restaurant offers a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, with attentive and friendly service. There is a small terrace with a few pleasant outdoor tables, offering views of Seville Cathedral.
I appreciated the quality of the dishes, especially the creative and well-executed tapas.
The service is attentive and friendly.
The restaurant is known for its tapas, including garlic shrimp, seafood carpaccio, and gazpacho.
A good wine selection is available, with recommendations tailored to the dishes.
I found the prices to be affordable, although this can vary depending on the dishes and drinks ordered.
The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday, with varying hours. It is closed on Mondays.
Reservations can be made online by selecting a date, time, and the number of people. The restaurant accepts credit cards.
The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

To summarize, I can say that La Azotea is a tapas restaurant located in the historic center of Seville, offering a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service. Customers appreciate the quality of the dishes and the wine selection. The restaurant is accessible and offers options for various dietary needs, with affordable prices and flexible hours. Enjoy your visit. Best regards, Éric Tison F-57 Féy (Metz, Moselle, France).
Does being gluten intolerant mean being sick? To discriminate in this way with how easy it is to have a separate fryer and use rice flour, or to make the same dishes with alternative methods so easy today, it seems shameful to me in a place called Casa Robles, from home nothing at home they take care of you they pamper you and you eat well.
I don't recommend a house like that.

We returned because of the good experience we had had a few years ago and…what a disappointment!!!!!
I am celiac and the menu they present to me is not marked with allergens…. I ask for some eggs with potatoes since I consider that it may be the least cross-contaminated and they tell me that they fry the potatoes in the oil of the croquettes... I ask for another plate of meat with potatoes and they repeat the same thing... I ask if they have one letter where the allergens are marked and finally they bring me a laminated sheet of paper saying that they have no obligation to give us the allergens unless we ask them...????????
I order a grilled entrecôte with vegetables and they bring it to me served on the plate accompanied by a bowl of wheat bread... I tell him to please be careful with cross contamination and he answers that as a waiter who knows about the subject... he doesn't see risk……
Of course at no time did they offer to adapt a dish, bring bread for celiacs...
A restaurant recommended by Michelin 2024 should have more capacity to provide menus adapted to food intolerances.
