We were looking for a restaurant near Charco Verde for lunch, and after reading that Casa Rafa had good reviews, we decided to book, and it was a great choice.
To start with, all the waiters are charming and take care of every detail. As soon as you arrive, they serve you bread with mojo sauce, asking beforehand if there are any guests with gluten intolerances. My husband, a celiac, told the waitress, and she immediately brought him gluten-free bread. She also informed us that all the fried food was gluten-free, as were the desserts.
We ordered delicious black rice and, while we waited, some grilled Lanzarote cheese, which pleasantly surprised us.
Definitely a recommended place.

A good destination if you're celiac. Except for the croquettes, almost the entire menu is gluten-free. Recommended are the scalded gofio, fried fish on the side, and squid with gluten-free batter (optional). They also have gluten-free sponge bread with anise. And Aday is a sweetheart. Recommended.

A restaurant that we have known for years, the service has completely changed, but above all the staff has been found to be unprofessional. Despite having said several times that we were celiac, the waitress offered us gluten-free dishes and also passed the order. Every time the owner had to intervene to take away our plate. Snchr dishes were brought to us not ordered, basically a huge lack of organization that could have cost us our lives. Another sore point is that we were charged for dishes that we didn't eat. I'm sorry, we were regular customers for business dinners or to celebrate our birthdays, but this change in management leads us to no longer recommend it to our customers and to write this negative review
