Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and solid gluten-free options!
I’m celiac and eat gluten-free, and I had the entrée salad with shrimp, it was delicious and I didn’t get sick. I was hoping it would come with ham as well (like the side salad appetizer the rest of the family ate), so next time I’ll ask for both shrimp and ham on the entrée salad.
The architecture and ambiance are beautiful, and we really enjoyed the two pitchers of sangria — definitely a 10/10!
The only downside was the service staff was very kind and friendly and did they best they could. Our group of 8 felt a bit forgotten, and after waiting to order dessert and water refill, we paid and left after about two hours.
Overall, it was a great experience. I’d definitely recommend going with a smaller group (maybe 3–6 people) for a smoother visit.
Everything was delicious and the portions were big. We got the cold hummus as an appetizer, and it was the best hummus I’ve ever had. I am gluten free and our server was really helpful with explaining modifications. Their menu is already marked which is helpful, but she also noted things I could remove for items not marked gluten free. So many options! Can’t wait to return.
Great Experience. Great Food, Great People
I obviously can’t write multiple reviews about one place but if I could, I would have given them 5 star every single time. The management is fantastic! Above excellent!! You don’t get that anywhere and I mean anywhere. The only place that my husband can actually eat gluten free without being sick as a dog. Olive Garden westchase we salute you and your management. Thank you for all you do to make sure people with Celiac disease can also eat pasta ❤️
Amazing! Absolutely loved the chicken and rice bowl. I wish they had gluten free falafel. Hopefully soon. I ordered online and picked up in the store which I’m thankful since there was a very long line during lunch. The food is great!!!!!
We are regulars at Flor Fina. I am quite fond of their menu and gluten-free options. The hotel is beautiful and I really like the space and location. Service was great last night and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested. The food is not over priced. I got roasted chicken and rice and beans for under 40$ and it was so flavorful. The short ribs with bleau cheese grits was to die for. We ended with the only gluten-free dessert they offer which was chocolate, raspberries with icecream and pine nuts. I am not a dessert person and I loved it. Valet parking is 10$ Valet parking is 10$
I happened to be in south Tampa for work yesterday and stopped here for a healthy vegan lunch. I had a 5 item mezze platter (salad, beets, falafel, babaganoush, cilantro hummus) and each item was fresh and delicious. the falafel is air fried to order so it’s crispy and grease-free. the woman making and serving the food is so sweet, and she offered to top my hummus and baba with olive oil, which i gladly took her up on. if you skip the pita and order rice with lentils, it’s easy to go gluten free here as well (i dipped my falafel, beets, and cucumbers and tomato in the hummus and baba to keep my platter gluten-free and it was really tasty). I’ll happily return next time I need a quick lunch in south Tampa.
Busch Gardens pass holders here and we eat here every time we visit the park. Seriously, forget about the over-priced park food and eat here. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available. Service is quick, friendly, and food is cooked to order. The dolmades and potato salad are out of this world! And I always buy a bottle of House Dressing and Grecian Garlic hot sauce.
We love Petra!
The food here is fresh and flavorful. My girls and I love the mixed grill, great dish if you want to try different grilled meats.
My husband it is vegetarian and they have great appetizers, sandwiches and plates for him.
They have options for low carb and gluten free diet
The restaurant is not very big, but it is clean ,cozy and has a beautiful patio. Highly recommended!
I visited Olive Garden this evening with my husband and 3 of our kids after spending the day at Busch Gardens together before traveling back home to Davenport. We had to wait over a half hour to be seated on a Monday night and the wait would have been fine if there hadn't been more empty tables than full.
We were ready to order once being seated but the first question our server (Jamie) asked was if we needed seperate checks (that seemed a bit insulting, the only reason we could think of why she would make that insinuation was due to the fact that we have a mixed ethnicity family). We had to ask for breadsticks after about 10 minutes of sitting down. We asked for a refill on bread sticks and for the salad that we all ordered after a half hour and received a response full of attitude, "I'll get it as soon as I can get to it". The manager came and asked us shortly after that if our order was taken yet and I told her yes; about a half hour earlier but we are still waiting on our salad and a refill on breadsticks and I mentioned that I cannot eat gluten (I'm allergic) and that I was quite hungry waiting on the salad while the kids all had breadsticks. It still took another 10 minutes or so to get the breadstick refill and our salad (which was gone before our food came but we were never offered more nor did we have the chance to ask for more because our server was nowhere to be found).
After sitting at our table for just over an hour, our food finally came out. Our youngest ordered a pepperoni pizza that came without pepperoni (the replacement came once we were done eating when we asked about the pepperoni right away), my husband and I both ordered steak and had to ask for steak knives so we could eat and I ordered the sirloin with fettuccine alfredo but asked for the gluten free pasta instead but received red sauce instead of alfredo (didn't say anything out that because I was 2 bites in and starving when I thought about the fact that it was the wrong sauce).
At no point did our server mention or ask about the gluten-free dietary restriction I mentioned. She brought the salad with more croutons than I've ever seen in a salad and I can only hope that my pasta was actually gluten free but I guess I will find out in the morning if I break out in hives from eating here.
Really wish this review could have been positive; this was the end to our last day spending time out as a family for the holidays.
Really fantastic meal!! We ordered a feast to try everything - the salads were huge and amazing. The ceviche was so fresh and tasty! The dishes they’re known for were amazing and their gluten-free options were vast! The manager was amazing and made sure our experience was great. We hadn’t been there in a few years but this will become a regular haunt for us now.
Drove here (20 minutes) because they claim gluten free service. They do not offer this, or at least the person helping us did not want to. Unfortunately he did not mention they would not clean anything to avoid contamination until after we payed. We asked for a refund which he said he could not do but his manager would the next day and call us.....fast forward 4 days later and still neither happened. We were forced to call our selves and repeat the everything to the manager to get refund which hopefully we get. This sucks, had to go another 20 minutes to another restaurant who did accommodate gluten free and will was excellent. Wanted to try this place but they do not offer the gluten free they used to.
Excellent food and customer service. They expertly accommodate gluten free if needed. If you’re not sure what to get, try the appetizer sampler and the mixed dinner for two. It’s enough food for 3-4 people.
