As a long time customer of True Food Kitchen - for more than 4 years - what initially interested us was the healthy non GMO, Gluten Free menu that does not use unhealthy seed oils (like Canola/Rapeseed Oil) in its food preparation. Since then, True Food has made some slight changes to its menus, including the use of controversial Vital Farms products as well as changes to its gluten friendly pizza dough and hamburger buns, however the one thing that has NOT changed - and is the best part of the restaurant: its employees. Ask for Chantal, Yuyu or Aaron - those are three of the best restaurant professionals you will ever meet! Their can do attitude, combined with their amazing ability to connect with customers is the REAL secret weapon at True Food Kitchen on PostOak. My family can eat at any restaurant in Houston, but we choose to eat at True Food Kitchen on Post Oak because we are always given excellent service and shown kindness when we eat there. Every restaurant should figure out how those three team members work, and copy it exactly - as a customer you leave having had a good meal, and GREAT service. Kindness, always served with a smile - and if there is any problem at all with your order, they are always quick to rectify the situation. You will never sit around with an empty glass of tea if you are being served by Aaron, Chantal or Yuyu. They always put the customer first - which is why, as long as they are working at TrueFood, we will always eat there! Give it a try - and ask to sit in their sections - you will have the best dining experience ever! Thank you Chantal, Yuyu and Aaron!!
Very good food, place and people. My wife has a severe allergy to gluten and took really good care. Kudos to Katy who helped us :)
*I hope I have the correct name for her. Sorry if I'm wrong LoL
We had a lovely meal. Awesome service and everyone raved about their food.We had one person with celiac disease and they were most accommodating for hereal.
This is the best Dimassi's! We will definitely be back. Tons of flavor, tons of options, lot's of gluten free including dessert! Even my picky kid loved it!
Came here for some healthy food options and was pleasantly surprised by the cafe atmosphere and warm wait staff. Joann in particular provided us with excellent service, great conversation and yummy dinner selections. I had the Chicken veggie penne and the hubby had the Turkey burger with mozzarella cheese. We ordered gluten free pizzas to-go and will recco to our neighbors!
Love this restaurant. I come here regularly, and every time I come in, I’m greeted with a smile and a friendly face. I have food intolerances and when the staff see me come in, they automatically wash their hands and change gloves without me needing to prompt them. Shout out to Sam, Mayra, and Danielle for being so accommodating for my dietary restrictions. Thank you for being awesome.

If you have celiac disease don't eat here even though the labels say gluten free you will get sick. The food is average, it's ok but somewhat overpriced.
Really great Greek food. Their side salads are huge and come with a big slice of feta which I enjoyed! The lemon potatoes and pita bread were also delicious and very fresh.
Also, they had labels for gluten-free items!
The word DiMassi's was spoken and that's all that needed to be said. An all you can eat smorgasbord of delicious fresh food. There are so many choices for everyone. They can literally feed anyone on any given diet/way of eating: keto, carnivore, vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, gluten free... seriously the one place friends can eat and no one has to sacrifice. So glad we stopped in, and being mostly healthy cuisine there's no guilt with the portions had.
The food was delicious! We tried several different dishes and were not disappointed. We loved that the food was tagged if it was gluten free, dairy free, etc. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.
We went to the Olive Garden with my family to celebrate my mother's birthday. The staff was very helpful and friendly, I needed gluten free options and they pointed out my options, they gave us candles for the cake we bought and the staff joined us in singing happy birthday.
This was my second time dining at Fadi's. Both experiences I've had have been wonderful. They have delicious and nutritious, freshly prepared entrees. There are many choices of sides, with clearly labeled options for special dietary restrictions. They were even able to prepare gluten-free pita bread upon request.
Unbelievably great quality food with a massive selection of items. Everything I wanted was there and found new things to love. There are plenty of diet friendly options for all sorts including vegetarian, vegan, low carb, diabetic, celiac, and more. I wish I brought a bigger appetite. Will absolutely be back next time I'm in Houston
They're always so busy because they have amazing food and a nice ambiance. Wait staff is friendly and patient. Cannot say enough about how good the food is! I'd eat it daily of I could and I'm gluten intolerant but still can find so many choices!
Fadi’s Meyerland is my go‑to for Mediterranean comfort food—fresh pita, generous sides, and flavorful shawarma are reliable winners. The salad trio and lamb shank are standouts, and I love sampling half‑sides so I don’t miss anything. It gets busy at lunch, and a couple of dishes can feel dry, but overall it’s high‑quality cafeteria‑style dining with family‑friendly vibes and gluten‑free options. Perfect for casual meals or small gatherings.
I'm not one for ethnic foods, but this was actually really good! I got the Chicken Pita, and it was actually very filling, which I didn't expect for the price and the way this restaurant looked. Vegetarian friend and gluten-free friend were also both very satisfied with their orders. Staff was very kind and helpful, came to the table a few times. The only thing I don't recommend is the pita chips, they were very plain and dry, not worth getting.
Had Brittany for our server. She was extra careful about my food allergy to wheat. The service was great, the food (gluten free rotini, meat sauce (GF), and Zuppa Tuscana (GF) was terrific, and the price was about average for the amount of food.
Everything was so good ! Quality food ! Delicious and you can see how they really put in the effort on serving good food, everything was delicious and the staff so friendly and nice ! My new favorite spot !! Love that the offer gluten free options and list the ingredients they use, simple and clean 🤌🏼❤️
Found this by accident. Delicious food. Great service! One of our party needed gluten free and was a great choice for her. Everyone loved what they chose!! Will be back!
Such a beautiful restaurant- the food is amazing, and the guest experience manager was so kind and welcoming to us, helping us decide what combinations would go best in the bowls, and more…. It was a great visit and yummy food, I would definitely come back again! Was also very good about gluten-free needs and allergies.
Had a great time getting breakfast with friends here this morning for the first time. I ordered the Msabaha and a piece of baklava, along with a small pot of mint tea to share with our table. The food came out very fresh and flavorful. Portions and value were excellent. The staff at the counter and in bringing out the food were courteous and kind.
They had plenty of gluten free options which one of my friends took advantage of, and also there were many vegetarian offerings as well.
We will all be back!
