Excellent seared duck breast. The French onion soup was good but unremarkable. We couldn't figure out what was "wrong" with the focaccia bread until we realized it was gluten free - dry and dense. Desserts were excellent. On the whole, a good dining experience and worth another shot

El Moose is lovely! The food is delicious, as a celiac, it’s hard feeling safe and comfortable going out to eat however El Moose is amazing and most of their items are completely GF! Love it here. Can’t recommend enough!

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed, we picked Hatch because we saw that they had an allergy aware menu as our family has some gluten and dairy allergies. The automatic 20% gratuity means that everyone checked out and couldn't care about doing their job, or trying their best. We waited a long time for any service, even though we were some of the only people in the restaurant, we eventually ordered everything all at once, once the server introduced herself. Thankfully, our server understood the allergies, and we didn't have any allergy issues (which is the reason for the second star) Everything else was terrible, and not worth the effort or the price. The food was lackluster, the rice was overcooked and under seasoned, the meat was under seasoned, chewy, and super greasy. The service was terrible and I would have 100% considered not tipping at all I was so disappointed, and then to find out that I automatically tipped 20% was a pretty frustrating. Won't be returning.

Great spot for a snack, dinner or after-work happy hour. Classic or creative taco options for mom and pop or pop-stars looking to impress with their delish Insta pix. Korean BBQ Beef,Bacon Cheeseburger, and Buffalo Chicken tacos were inspired and will keep me coming back for more. The mocktail that riffed on Pina Colada is a most refreshing treat. Server was very accommodating and thoughtful. Gluten or dairy free and vegetarian requirements easily accommodated. Free street parking available within a block or three in a neighborhood that is very walkable, with delightful boutiques and street art, and feels safe day or night. Ask about spice levels as there are a few surprises (refried beans were muy caliente) with heat levels not marked on menu.

We had an amazing experience here. I am a coeliac, so the gluten free dedicated meniu was a blessing, with a lot of great options to choose from. I had the prawns fajita, a very tasty and generous portion size. Because it was our first time, we received a desert for free. I would love to come back and try other dishes.

The deck is fantastic on a sunny, summer day. Enjoyed watching the marine life and ferries. Even saw a family of sea otters! Happy hour is 5-6 pm with drinks and appetizers $2 off. My party enjoyed every appetizer we tried: Bourbon Street Poppers, Chicken Wings, and Irish Rolls. Gluten free options are clearly marked. Great atmosphere, service, and food and drinks!

Delicious! Excellent outdoor patio that stays sunny into early evening, and umbrellas if needed. Most dishes are naturally GF, and the fryer isn’t used for anything flour, so everything marked gluten free is celiac safe.

The food was so yummy. They even had gluten free food for my daughter with celiac disease. She has extreme reactions to gluten/wheat and she was able to eat at a restaurant for once and not feel sick. We will definitely come back soon! They were so sweet and accommodating making sure there was no cross contamination with her food and changing gloves.

6 of us had our first visit to Tapatio Mexican Grill, Newcastle, on April 2, 2025. We'd read the reviews and Tapatio lived up to the high ratings for service and beautifully presented delicious food! It has a warm, friendly, clean atmosphere. Our lunch entrees cost about $15.00 each. Four ordered drinks, which they were very happy with. The soup had huge chunks of chicken and fresh veggies. Two of us are vegan & gluten free and the vegetarian offerings, such as tacos, were served with corn tortillas and greens with edible flowers. A very nice presentation! Our server was excellent and it was no problem for us to stay and talk an extra hour as some of our party were headed to the airport and we had extra time. Thank you Tapatio for being affordable, delicious, being able to address multiple dietary needs and so friendly and personable. We'll happily return!

Absolutely incredible! I keep bringing people here because every meal I’ve had here has been absolutely divine. I have celiacs and a couple allergies so it’s almost impossible to find places that properly accommodate all of that, but they nail it every single time. The staff are so friendly and upbeat, even gave my friends and I some recommendations for hidden Seattle adventures. It’s also a very lovely place, the atmosphere is calming and elegant. Seriously cannot recommend this place more.

6/1/25 After being overlooked by Owl Spirit Cafe in Port Townsend, my husband and I quickly searched for a place to have lunch. To our delight, we discovered a small Mexican restaurant right next to where we had parked, and that's where we decided to eat! The first thing I noticed was that the place was clean, at least based on what I could see. We didn’t use the restrooms, so I can’t comment on those. Our server, Riley, informed us that we could sit anywhere. She promptly brought us water and menus. As I sat there looking through the menu, I noticed plenty of choices that caught my interest. However, I decided to opt for a "healthier" meal, as I usually do. While I was browsing, I glanced around the restaurant and saw that it was pretty full. One server was managing several tables and doing it so smoothly and with a friendly demeanor. We placed our order after just a couple of minutes of waiting. I chose the Burrito Bowl Salad and selected cauliflower and vegetables instead of chicken, which I usually order with other meals. Plus they did offer a variety of protein options to choose from. My burrito bowl arrived beautifully arranged, starting with a fresh layer of crisp romaine lettuce. On top of that, there was a generous portion of fluffy Mexican rice paired with hearty whole pinto beans. I opted to leave out the sour cream, but the dish was still bursting with flavor thanks to the rich salsa roja mixed throughout. To add a satisfying crunch and depth, the bowl came with perfectly seared cauliflower, along with sautéed onions and vibrant bell peppers. Overall, it was a delicious and filling meal that left me thoroughly satisfied! My husband ordered Pescado Tacos, which are fish tacos made with wild-caught rockfish from Vancouver, BC. The fish was battered in gluten-free rice flour and fried, then topped with cabbage, chipotle aioli, avocado mousse, cilantro, and lime, all served on organic blue corn tortillas. He was thoroughly impressed by how perfectly the flavors came together. Our server, Riley, was sweet and polite, making her an overall wonderful server. Early on, I watched her move around the restaurant, serving others with a smile. Even though the restaurant was almost at full capacity, she never seemed panicked and handled everything with grace. We will definitely dine there again. We were pleased with both the food and the service! La Cocina's location is 221 Taylor Street, Port Townsend, WA. It is situated right off Water Street downtown. Nearby places include O'Yummy Frozen Yogurt, Hanazono Asian Noodle Bowl, and What's Cookin' Kitchen Supply Store. It's always awesome supporting a small business like La Cocinas, especially in such treacherous times of today. I've now been here (or had takeout) a handful of times for brunch and dinner. I've been completely satisfied every time. The food is delicious and filling. The servers have always been super friendly; helpful to a family with a toddler and a diner with Celiac disease. It is usually pretty quiet and easy to get a table. Service is speedy and accurate.

Food is amazing and ala carte. In house made corn tortillas. Great spot for someone with gluten sensitivity. The reason why I have it 4 stars is if the place is packed it can be hard to hear your dinner companion. They have outdoor seating as well.

We did catering for 40 and picked it up (wouldn't expect them do delivery 30 miles away). They were exactly on time, had everything right in the first go, and didn't give us lower quality food, everything you would expect if you were dining in. Easy and consistent, I'd call that a win. Plus, it works for people with pretty much all the allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, gluten, pea protein, corn, love and happiness)

‼️Do not recommend if you have gluten allergies! Staff was nice and when we brought up that my girlfriend has serious gluten allergies, they assured us that the menu items that were listed to be specifically gluten-free would be safe, and claimed the chefs use separate pans to cook the tortillas and other things as needed to ensure safety and no cross contamination. Yet as I write this, my girlfriend is having an allergic reaction.. Also, they do not use different oil to fry there tortilla chips, so they are not safe and gluten free, which the waitress did tell us, but they are listed to be gluten free on the menu…? That needs to be changed. Obviously we won’t be going back just because it’s seems to genuinely not be safe if you’re allergic to gluten, despite having plenty of “gluten free” menu options.

Phenomenal! Fresh, high quality ingredients made into the tastiest dishes. This is our favorite restaurant and we frequently travel from Olympia for their tasty food! Service is always top notch and super friendly. I appreciate all the gluten free options. Yummy salsa, beans, and rice. Definitely recommend the guacamole, carne asada, Don Juan tacos, and carnitas. I’m sure everything on the menu is delectable.
