Small but nice place. Chosen for its gluten-free cuisine. The fried foods are good, especially the frittatine, less so the crocchettone. The schiacciata is a bit dry. The cotoletta is really excellent. Friendly staff, even if a bit too green. The bill is a bit expensive. Located centrally with respect to the sanctuary and the excavations. Parking not immediate.

We knew this restaurant from a holiday in Pompeii a few years ago and we had fond memories of it,
Above all, we noticed that they offered gluten-free dishes. We returned after a few years, days ago, and we were delighted.
Really good food, delicious gluten-free fried fish, they brought fresh gluten-free bread to the table, of divine goodness! Not to mention the desserts, a vast range of fresh pastries of their own production that are totally gluten-free. The extremely kind owners and the enchanting location, with music in the background and a view of a splendid garden among lemon and orange trees. Truly a true paradise!
They have gluten-free pasta and sandwiches. The only thing is that they prepare the sandwich with almost no salami, but it's good to have a gluten-free option.
Went in for a quick lunch, attracted by the low prices. However, there is a €3 surcharge for gluten free pizza which isn’t advertised anywhere, plus the service was not very good (the waiter poured the beer so aggressively it was flat and half of the glass was head). Food wasn’t great, wouldn’t recommend.
Unique!!!
After many lunches and dinners out and about, I have rediscovered the desire to eat outside the home which lately had little satisfaction for me.
Let me start by saying that I was there at a lunch where there were about seventy people, and despite this the appearance of the dishes was not inviting but real works of art.
Every course, from the appetizer to the dessert, had a characteristic that I love: being able, despite the many ingredients, to make each of them savored and the chef succeeded fully.
It was all delicious, if I had to think of something I didn't like I couldn't, but on the other hand I was fascinated by the agnolotto stuffed with porcini mushrooms, I had NEVER eaten a dish like this. I was so pleasantly impressed that I had to review and praise a chef who truly thrilled me from every point of view.
I want to point out that at my table there were three celiacs and a vegetarian and this did not destabilize the cuisine in the slightest, on the contrary, my sister (celiac) let me taste everything and showed me that she knows how to do that too! In short, amazing
Credit goes to the chef without a doubt, but applause also goes to the staff who provided impeccable service.
To conclude, the location, very simple and elegant at the same time, mixed clientele of all ages, right in the center, a few meters from magnificent attractions for tourists and others.
Go there and you will definitely not regret it !!!!!!!
Descending from Pompeii, hungry as a wolf, on the way to Vesuvius, we stopped here because it had good reviews. We arrived before the restaurant opened, but we were received super friendly by those who were preparing the terrace for lunch.
They quickly prepared a table for us and told us that we can wait on the terrace until the kitchen opens. I received an appetizer from the house, even gluten-free bread (although we have no hope, as I am celiac). Everything is very good, tasty and fresh, fine dining, but the portions are big enough. Even for dessert I was able to choose gluten-free tiramisu. Again a surprise for me.
Service very ok. The girls are very friendly and attentive to our needs.
I recommend.
Dinner and evening really themed, since you eat in a place inspired by ancient Pompeii with the possibility of wearing traditional clothes. I want to point out that the menu in addition to being very good was made especially for me gluten-free.
Good evening guys, I've eaten in many places but never in a restaurant like this, unfortunately I have to say. I went to a Mediterranean restaurant in Pompeii, I ordered a sandwich and they served me this dish that I can't define. It was anything but a sandwich, furthermore they weren't even correct in telling me that it wasn't a sandwich they produced but the classic frozen one. Among other things, they were also uncertain about the chips, first they told me they weren't gluten-free and then they served them to me... a really bad experience, I won't go into too much detail but I strongly advise against it.
Ps: they insisted that the sandwich cost the same as the dish.. I said it all 🫣🫣
We look for a place on Google for celiacs, we get there and the waiter advises us against eating here as "the dishes are still prepared by the kitchen"...Bha!
