Given my celiac disease we asked by phone (to the Italian OWNER) if non-contamination was guaranteed, he told us that Gluteen free pasta was possible. When we arrived at the restaurant our table was occupied by others, after the wait also the mockery. The cutlery was dirty, shortly after we discovered that in reality there is absolutely nothing Gluteen free, since they have only one kitchen that by law does not allow this possibility. Obviously we got up and left. Without considering the further inconvenience caused since at 10 pm the restaurants are in the process of closing. A slap in the face to Italian honesty.

Love that it opens early (we arrived at 8 am) and has an inclusive menu (items clearly marked if vegetarian, contains gluten, contains nuts, etc). We randomly found this place hoping it had "gluten free" options, result? He had them (you have a wide choice of first courses, second courses and side dishes) and we had a great lunch! The room was very clean, well kept and well furnished, but above all welcoming and comfortable. We ordered two first courses and two salads, both courses were exceptional! The products were of good quality. The staff very kind and approachable. In general, we were very satisfied, the place is absolutely recommended!

We came here at 1:30 and left at 3:50 we ordered a crabby patty and at first the had forgotten it and then when we had all finished eating it came 55 minutes after, and then when it came it looked like pretty burned and inedible (image below⬇️) we had also ordered gluten free pasta with bacon which came on time however some bacon pieces where burnt and other pieces where chewy. We were constantly disturbed when we were having a conversation because our waiter kept on mixing our drink orders with other tables. On top of all of this a small child got locked in the bathroom for over 20 minutes because the lock was faulty, they had to break the door( image below⬇️)

Expensive and the waiter unpleasant. We ordered 3 dishes to share between 4 and he didn't take it very well. The menu says they have gluten-free pasta but then they charge you more without warning. When paying, the POS application requires you to leave a tip (5%, 10 or 20%); Thank goodness we found an option where you put the amount and we put €1 which was the minimum we left. Water and bottles of wine were more expensive than in other places, we ordered a sangria which was the cheapest. We will not return.

Best restaurant in Malta
As regards the professionalism, kindness and hospitality of all the waiters, from the moment we arrived they immediately made themselves available to find accommodation for us even though we had no reservations made in advance. We were immediately put at ease, the service was fast and excellent. As for the food there is no comparison with the other restaurants visited, everything is fresh and the flavor is excellent. Only restaurant seen with gluten free food. It's a shame that I discovered you on the last evening of the holiday. It will be a destination every time we return to Malta. Congratulations to all of you.
