Gluten free? This is the one. Iām still thinking about the halloumi, prawns and octopus 24 hours later š. Lots of (paid) parking right across the street. Treat yourself!!
Great experience with Vivian and Victoria. Came in because of the Google reviews and because of the gluten free and dairy free options. I enjoyed my gluten free pizza. Kid friendly and short walk from the castle!
Gogos was the epitome of great service. The best thing is they are pet friendly. The service is fantastic. I am Gluten Intolerant, and so I had to get the manager to let me know what I could eat. The option was only a chicken burger with a GF bun, which I ordered but then decided to try the day's special, which was Venison Curry. The manager went to check with the chef about my GF options a couple of times and was very patient with all my questions. Our little Doggie sat people watching under the table and got a few pats from the staff, which he enjoyed š
The ribs I am told were melt in the mouth and delicious, so was my Venison curry. Lovely flavours and perfectly cooked meat. For dessert there was a black coconut icecream which was delicious and we even got a free portion as they had served extra. To my delight, the server made
let me know it was Gluten Free so I devoured that despite digging into some from my neice š
Been to the Richmond branch a couple of years back. Lovely little restaurant in Windsor tucked away, gluten free pasta options also. Lovely welcoming service
We had brunch at Bill's in Windsor this past weekend, and I'm always so happy to find a place that has a gluten-free menu. I decided to go for "Bill's Big Brunch" (Gluten-free of course) which was tomatoes, fried eggs, toast, a sausage, avocado, beans and potatoes. I so wanted to love it but it was SO BLAND. The only thing that had any flavour was the vegetarian sausage. Staff was very friendly and it's in a great location near Windsor castle and the train station.
We popped into Ichiban on a Wednesday evening without too much expectation. The reviews are all about right - good food, decent service and as the pace filled up the atmosphere was good too. They were very accommodating of gluten free requests too. No complaints here - Iād visit again.
Al Fassia is a hidden gem in Windsor a few minutes from the High Street. The Manager was the best part of the dining experience. He was friendly and knowledgeable and could offer menu suggestions for my #Gluten Free requirement. He wad also a total gentleman who made me realise Chivalry is not completely dead š He held my coat up for me to put on, which no one has done for me, ever! The Moroccan wine was really nice, I didn't know Morocco produces wine! We all had a Tagine as the main course, and they were all delicious and extremely flavourful and served piping hot. The lamb was so well cooked it was falling off the bone and melting in ky mouth. The Merguez sausage was really flavourful, I'll definitely look out for those! The Filo pastry as a starter was a hit with everyone. The food is very homely, and so is the atmosphere. I'll definitely go back to try the other dishes.
Food was super, and both our lovely server Natalia and the manager were super attentive and very knowledgeable about what dishes were safe for me as a coeliac. Will definitely be coming back again!
My new favourite restaurant in Windsor. Kind of wine-bar Mediterranean tapas, rather than Spanish.. That said the food sounds simple but is superb: the taramasalata was home made and apparently excellent, we had some delicious Chirozo in a sweetish wine sauce and above all the most amazing polenta.
Indeed, possibly the best Polenta I have had - as gluten-free I get to 'experience' a lot of Polenta and it was light and fluffy, crisped up and drizzled with a little honey and salt.
Oh, and great service, too.
PS Recommend for the gluten-challenged. Most dishes are gluten free.
