Great lunch for two kids and two adults (two with Celiac). Almost entirely GF menu with GF buns and bread available. Mac n cheese, fries and salads were all great!
I didn't plan to eat here but am so glad I did. The service people were approachable in a tidy, orderly space. Senza Gluten by Jemiko -100% Gluten Free Restaurant combines affordability with vegetable-rich options. I trust Senza Gluten by Jemiko -100% Gluten Free Restaurant for their quality meals and worker attention. What a pleasant surprise this was!
Amazing margaritas, food was so awesome. Highly recommend for locals and out-of-towners. Authentic Mexican food. Great service. So many gluten free options!
I used to come to the Meatball Shop when I was in grad school in 2012/2013. It was wonderful then! BUT it was TERRIBLE yesterday. I usually don't write reviews but I want to make sure people understand how bad their food is. I ordered the chicken meatballs and they were undercooked, pink and raw inside. It smelled funny too. I ordered it on a bed of kale (worst decision ever) because they kale was sautéed but tasted rotten. Yuck. My husband who is gluten free ordered the chicken one too because that was the only one gf and he was nauseous and sick that night. He has bouts of nausea and a severe migraine because of the food. Thankfully I was already on a strong course of antibiotics for something else, so I was not affected as much. This was my first trip to NYC after 12 years and I was looking forward to eating here. BIG MISTAKE.
I came here for dinner this evening with a friend and it was delicious. We shared the calamari & both decided to order the chicken marsala. She subbed her pasta out for mashed potatoes. We were both super pleased with our orders. Very flavorful and good portions for a good price. The wait staff was very attentive as well. Upon leaving, I asked the hostess if they had any gluten-free options for a friend who was traveling to the city next month and she said they did have a gf pasta that could be subbed out. I can’t wait to recommend this place to her and I can’t wait to return when I am in town again!

Really lovely atmosphere at this family owned restaurant. Food was good with easy to find gluten free options. Complimentary refilled sodas arrived at our table without us asking and the owner was friendly and attentive.
Our party of 5 called for a reservation about 5:30 on Tuesday evening as we were enroute. We were seated promptly when we arrived a few minutes later. I am gluten free and had a great meal of Capresse Salad and Penne Bolognese. Several in our party had two kinds of pizza, which they said was very good. My husband had Spaghetti Bolognese which he thoroughly enjoyed. I can’t wait to go back!!
Found this little gem and reserved for dinner. We were supposed to be in the Crystal Room but our host let us know that there was a big family with lots of kids so we opted to stay downstairs for a quieter meal. The main floor is decorated very nicely and while there were a number of other guests, it wasn't very loud at all. The food and drinks were fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the prices were reasonable considering the area. Lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options as well, for those with dietary needs. I would definitely dine here again!
Delicious breakfast & great coffee. Wonderful friendly staff, eager to help with your dining experience. Great gluten free & milk alternative options. Unfortunately we couldn’t linger longer as we were meeting a boat tour but hope to return before leaving. Thank you
Fabulous ambience, service (thank you Agustine - who went out of his way to accommodate our needs) and delectable food. Good options that catered for my gluten intolerance, too.
Love this place! The decor if phenomenal, the food is delicious and the staff are amazing. The drinks we great as well. I do wish they had more gluten free items as the selection is slim compared to other Thai places.
Overall I think the crazy dragon on the ceiling when you walk in, the delicious food and the atmosphere is so worth it. This place is very amenable to folks of all walks of life. It's a really cool place to hang out in the front at the bar or have A dining experience in the back. It's accessible entrance and getting around inside the place but the bathrooms would be tight for someone with a wheelchair or large assistive device.
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE YOU JUST REMEMBER TO STAY AWAY FROM US!
BELOW THE REASONS:
1- JUST SITTING ABANDONED BY THE STAFF DESPITE FEW PEOPLE IN THE PLACE.
2- THE WAITER FINALLY ARRIVED, UNPREPARED FOR THE DISHES AND INTERRUPTED THE ORDER SEVERAL TIMES
3- POOR OPTIONS AND NO AVAILABILITY FOR THE CUSTOMER
4- PROBLEM FOR ALLERGIC PEOPLE (GLUTEN AND LACTOSE) DESPITE THE NOTES AT THE TIME OF BOOKING
5 - FOOD: SIMPLE UNWASHED SALAD, RAW SALMON WITH A STRANGE AFTERTAste, WATERED LEMON CHICKEN WITHOUT FLAVOR AND WITH INGREDIENTS THAT DO NOT BIND, OVERCOOKED PASTA DROWNED IN ACID SAUCE
6- SURROUNDING CLEANING (SWEEPING ON THE GROUND AS IF IT WAS CLOSING)
7- EVERY TIME THE COLD AIR INLET DOOR IS OPENED
8- “MENU JO” ADVERTISED NEITHER PROPOSED OR WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND WHEN BROUGHT THE LIST NOT AVAILABLE FOR ONLY ONE PERSON BUT MADE MANDATORY FOR THE WHOLE TABLE
9- HIGH BILL WITH THE 18% TIP ALREADY INSERTED WITHOUT GIVING YOU THE POSSIBILITY TO DECIDE HOW MUCH TO GIVE, PERHAPS BECAUSE YOU ARE AWARE OF THE POOR SERVICE AND QUALITY
10- IN SUMMARY IT MAKES YOU CHILLER TO FIND THE FACT THAT JO BASTIANIC (WHO I ALSO APPRECIATED BOTH FROM TV PROGRAMS AND SOCIAL MEDIA BEFORE ENTERING ONE OF HIS RESTAURANTS) COULD BE SO WORSE THAN THOSE HE CRITICIZES
NB: IN 3 OUT OF 5 WE WERE SICK AT NIGHT WITH DIARRHEA
My friends and I went here after skating in Central Park. It was on my friend’s radar since it offered gluten-free pasta. The truffle gnocchi was some of the best I’ve ever had. Gnocchi was super light and soft. Truffle flavors were well infused throughout and a handful of truffle slices adorned the top of the dish. Price point was excellent for a dish like this at $32.50. My friends were extremely satisfied with their dishes too. They got the gluten-free pene in white clam sauce and orecchiette with broccoli rabe & Italian sausage. Atmosphere was upscale and sleek. Service was great and they accommodated my friend’s allergies. Will stop by if I am in the area again.
Had a lovely meal at The Marshal with a few other people from my company, good for gluten free dining. Love that they cook everything over wood fire and that they make a point of only having New York wines. Had a couple lovely glasses of orange wine from upstate. As far as food goes it was hit and miss. The meatloaf was great but was just a giant slab of meat with no sides. The fish dish was tasty and seasoned well but a small portion drowned in a puree with a watery texture. The pizza we got as an appetizer was also lacking in flavor. That said, the beet salad was unmissable. Extremely tasty, perfectly dressed, highly recommend. The service was unremarkable but also inoffensive. The vibes are good. The whole restaurant isn't that big so it smells like food cooked over wood and it's cozy.
Such a cool find while in NYC, met with family from the area when up for a trip. The food was amazing and my sister who needs to eat gluten free may have had the best meal of us all. I will be coming back to have the gluten free pasta it was so good! The atmosphere was great, loved meeting new people over a good meal. Feels like a hidden gem.
French cooking. Everything with butter. Farmer's omelet with veggies. Dish made no butter, good for gluten, fat and dairy free!
Piano music live and delightful.
This is the most delious and delightful atmosphere. In fact I loved it so much after my first visit I spent time looking on google maps to refine it just to take my husband on a return trip. They have a gluten free pasta option, the appetizers were fantastic and can we pause to speak about the ricotta cheesecake!!! It deserves its own review it’s so amazing.
Ordered their keto cauliflower gluten free keto pizza rainbow style and it was delicious 😋 you can taste the freshness in their ingredients. Will definitely be ordering again 👍🏻
Five of us had a delightful time getting fondue here. The wait staff were great helping my friend who eats gluten-free navigate the menu, to the extent of checking the ingredients on the marshmallows provided with the chocolate desert fondue. We were seated in a little nook between the two main rooms which was perfect for us. Lots of space to try different things, and insulated from others’ conversations. I was a little disappointed with the chocolate fondue, but only because I’m not a dark chocolate fan, so that’s a personal preference not a knock on the restaurant. We all agreed we’d happily return.,
Had a wonderful evening meal of watermelon salad and Gluten free eggplant parmigiana that was AMAZING! I had to check to make sure it was gluten free it was so delicious!!! Try the eggplant parmigiana! You won’t be disappointed!
Wow. So delicious! The tacos were above and beyond tasty. The margaritas - amazing, if I had the tolerance for it, I'd have gone well past two. I'm gluten free and they had plenty of options (same for vegetarian - lots of options, though I had the carne asada taco and the pork - yum!) Even the salsa with chips at the start was upscale - the salsa tasted like it had mole in it. I was nervous after the move and the menu change, but... Well done Hell's Kitchen, well done!
Hands down the best burgers in Hell’s Kitchen! The staff is always super nice. The fries and the chicken sandwiches are delicious. The burgers are amazing, made fresh, and always have fresh crisp veggies. I recently attempted to go gluten free and ordered a burger with the lettuce wrap instead of the wheat bun. I was pleasantly surprised that it came as a beautiful wedge of lettuce cut into the shape of a bun, hardy enough to survive delivery and still be super crisp and delicious. Don’t forget the sauces too, all delicious but the Lucky and Chelsea are my favs.
Workers were so nice, would come back just to hang with them. However, I felt the prices were a little too high for what you got. 3 mini falafels and hummus was $16. You do get bread, which is nice. They accommodate large groups well and have clearly marked gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options
