Really enjoyed this place. We came for the Gluten free pizza, as my son has celiac. It was delicious. Our food did take a while, but our server was so kind. She even brought us out a gluten free dessert to try! Will definitely be going back!

I would give Pizza Birra Vino a 10 out of 5 if Google would let me. Hands down the best gluten free pizza I have ever had in my life, anywhere! Just absolutely delicious, as is everything else they make. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and no detail is spared with their food. Customer service is also top notch. We eat here on a weekly basis and will do so indefinitely. You will be glad you ate here!

Happy hour. We arrived in time for happy hour. The house margarita was great. The happy hour food menu was valued priced. We started with the happy hour guacamole. Excellent flavor. The salsa is excellent. I tried the beef taco, fish taco and smoked chicken skewers. Everything was very good.excellent place for gluten free.

OMG!!! Amazing!! First: make a reservation!! I did and avoided a 2 hour wait. Second: service is excellent!! Don’t rely on your waiter/waitress, everyone chips in! Alejandro was our waiter, excellent! Made great recommendations. I had the Thai ribs and my wife had the salmon. Told a waiter my wife had a gluten issue. He changed her order to include a side of cauliflower instead of the wheat based grain. Everything came out hot and fresh straight from the kitchen to your table. No wait time flavors were amazing. Portions were huge definitely could’ve shared either one of our plates had old fashions to drink mixed perfectly. Had the cheesecake for dessert, light fluffy, no crust or flakes and not a sweet dessert perfect for after dinner Definitely recommend this for a date night or even a family gather.

Faith kindly waited on us, checked in on us but I most appreciate her efforts to accommodate my gluten-free and dairy-free needs. JJ (possibly the manager) came to check on us as well. I have been to other Mod Pizza locations, and this was the worst, for various reasons. The person making the pizza did not know the difference between the pizza crusts - she stared blankly when my friend and I asked whether the cauliflower crust was a better choice for someone who is gluten free. Finally she said, "it's made from cauliflower...". Ummmm. I have a dairy allergy (which I advised) and there was cheese in the other topping containers. I had to ask the preparer to pick the cheese shreds off as she just reached in and grabbed whatever. The person in charge of baking the pizzas was too busy doing things on her phone to pay attention to the food, and my friend's pizza came out burned (they served it anyway). I could tell the baker was not paying attention because she had her back half-turned and was giggling as she typed for long periods on her phone. The person plating and cutting the pizza had a scowl on her face and all but shoved my pizza at me. In summary, the lack of knowledge, lack of professionalism/customer service and state of the topping containers has turned me off to this location.

I’ve eaten at dozens of Ethiopian restaurants. This place takes a while to bring the food but it is extremely fresh and tasty. The pistachio cake is amazing. The blue Nile lamb special and doro wot are solid. They offer the gluten free and non gluten free injera which is a solid win. Doro Wot perfectly made. The right proportions on everything. Will be back. A gem in Houston. My friend loved the cardamom and cinnamon Ethiopian tea.

First time dining at Black Walnut Cafe. It was busy (as it was Easter), but there were plenty of seats. This is a “seat yourself” establishment, which is not really clear until until you walk into the restaurant. Once my party walked in, there was plenty of choice seating. The servers were professional and friendly and the food was good. The portion sizes were just right, but the gluten free pancakes were a little dry (even with syrup). The kids gluten free cheese burger and fries were good as was the Mac and cheese and grilled chicken. The experience was pleasant and we will definitely visit again.

Been here twice now and the food has been Fantastic each time. First time was dine in with a group of family and friends and the staff was great. Second time was carry out and worth it! A family member has celiac so she can't have gluten. The gluten free pizza here is amazingly delicious.

This is definitely the BEST Filipino restaurant in Houston, probably Texas too. Their food is super tasty and doesn't look like a pile of slop like typical Filipino food does. They are also super accommodating to food allergies which I have yet to encounter another Filipino restaurant that does, especially gluten. Highly recommend the fried rice, lechon, cola adobo, wings, bistek, bbq skewers, any of their cocktails, and of course their Halo Halo!

Loved the pepperoni slice—hot, cheesy, with a perfectly foldable crust. Friendly service, quick turnaround, and a great value with happy-hour deals. Gluten‑free and vegan cheese options make it easy to customize. Parking is tight, but perfect for a late-night slice run. Definitely coming back!

I was extremely disappointed with the experience here. Which is unfortunate because my first visit a few months ago was extremely positive. From the extreme unprofessionalism of the servers, to the uneducated staff in the kitchen. I was served a gluten filled meal, even though I specifically requested a lettuce wrap and a gluten allergy.. when the food was put in front of me, I told the server it was not correct, and he said “you need to take that to the manager to fix it” instead of offering to take care of it. Overall extremely disappointed and will not be coming back.

Crisp is super yummmmy !! I really enjoy their gluten free pizzas and I’m gluten free . Love the drinks as well. Parking isn’t bad which is good, solid three stalls in the bathroom . The music isn’t super loud , The outside is nice on a good weather day. Happy hour is the way to go as the GF crust is an extra $6 which is steep tbh.

Being Gluten Free there are not typically a lot of Asian food choices for me. Tiger Noodle House has an AMAZING General TSO chicken that I have enjoyed several times! My husband typically gets the Orange Beef, which is also Gluten Free! Recently we tried their pineapple fried rice- it’s the ONLY rice they have that’s Gluten Free! It’s hands down one of the best fried rices I’ve had. The flavor is very unique and it’s now a must had side order for us. The service has always been great and the plates come out piled up high with hot food!

This is the 2nd time we have come to eat and I liked both the service and the food. They have a very extensive menu and varieties for people who are usually sensitive to gluten. Our waiter Brian was super attentive from the beginning, very helpful and attentive to us. We haven't come since January and we will definitely come more often. Every day they have a super special on the menu, good, cheap and delicious.

My friend is obsessed with the 1/2 lbs burger, myself I'm gluten free, I really enjoy the tex mex salad. The plates are large and my salad filled the entire plate. Another of my friends is began, she ordered the vegan meatballs and they were as big as my first. She liked them so much she asked for a order to go. The prices may look high but you get great tasting food and big portions. I highly recommend.

I've been coming here for several years now, and I've always been impressed with all of their dishes. Their waitstaff, especially Carlos, has always been on-point and professional. The biggest draw for my family and I is the Gluten-Free crust options. My wife has Celiac's, has never had a problem, and this has consistently been some of the best GF pizza we've found in Houston.

The chicken was so good, normally chicken fila and other places hurt my stomach but this is Gluten Free and great quality. The food is fresh and healthy here. I just wanted to warn those with severe gluten allergies not to necessarily order something with GF next to it. Here, it does not mean gluten free, it means gluten friendly, which is an unregulated term. In some cases, it means possibility of cross contamination from a fryer, etc. In this case, though, the goat cheese balls in our salad were covered in Panko breadcrumbs. Luckily we questioned what the crust was (Panko is gluten) before eating. It would have been a very dangerous situation due to extreme gluten allergy. I want to say that the server and manager couldn't have been kinder, or quicker to rectify. I do think the restaurant owner needs to know the danger in putting GF on the menu for an item like this, as there is nothing gluten friendly about it at all. That said, we had a nice meal and great service at the end, and would go back knowing to question any GF items before ordering.

Always love Rodeo Goat, and love them even more now that I can't have gluten (their GF buns are great and mean I don't have to miss hamburgers anymore!) Ever since Bernie's Burger Bus closed in the pandemic I thought I'd never have another burger that could compare, but RG is just... flawless. Postino is such a great place to have happy hour with friends. Their patio is outfitted for the Houston weather, so you can enjoy the ambiance of The Heights year-round. Their wine selection is massive, and the servers always have great suggestions on which ones to get. They also have delicious charcuterie boards and appetizers. The bruschetta is a must, and there are gluten-free bread options for those of us with intolerances! Five stars!

Update: They changed the restrooms to both be family friendly! Just need a changing table in the 2nd one but I'm sure that's coming. Thank you, Slowpokes!!! This place and the employees are amazing. There is plenty of gluten friendly food to choose from and the RR has a changing table. I'm basic so I stick to mocha lattes throughout the year otherwise I'll try some seasonal stuff; and those are really good. I love the atmosphere and how child friendly it is.
