Top notch food, great service, and a warm, welcoming vibe. The menu is fresh, full of flavour, and caters really well to gluten-free options. Staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend if you're in town!

With vestiges of pink still streaking the pale autumn sky, we eschewed a hotel breakfast at Atura Albury in favour of a standout local cafe. Mr. Benedict has put together a breakfast menu where you will struggle to choose. The namesake eggs Benedict ($24.50) teamed with either apple cider-glazed ham hock and lemon mint pea smash or smoked salmon and lemon dill salsa verde, should be on your list. For me they were edged out by corn fritters ($23.50) flavoured with jalapeños, coriander, cumin, spring onions and Cheddar cheese. Being gluten free, they’re light on the stomach, which is lucky because they arrive under a quenelle of vividly green avocado and tangy beetroot relish in a ring of coriander yoghurt.
As we admired the architectural lines of Albury’s 1934 ambulance station through the cafe’s folding windows and breakfast bar, my dining companion took on the apricot and nut French toast ($22.50). With two thick slabs of fruit and nut bread, lightly tangy banana mascarpone and real maple syrup, the berry compote—though eye-catching—was probably overkill. Code Black Coffee, from Australia’s coffee capital Melbourne, was enjoyable in a small cappuccino ($5) and a large latte ($5.50). They’re using a strong roast throwing dark chocolate and macadamia called My Ex-Wife, that’s perfect for milk-based coffees.
Had a reservation Sunday afternoon at lunch for 4 people, it was very empty and quiet which was nice, yet we felt very rushed by the waitress.
The man at the counter when we paid was kind, but could not say the same for others. The food was delicious, but was taken before I was finished. We were not offered a drink menu. One of us had celiac disease and did not feel like it was taken seriously. The waitress was unfortunately impolite when we talked to her.
I was on crutches and did feel accommodated, which was good.
I have been here many times before and it was amazing, but the service was disappointing. I’ll be back for the food thats for sure!🙂
I have coeliacs disease, and an allergy to dairy and Sulfites. I've been eating here for the past 2 years and even more so in the last 8months (you guys are seriously getting me through my pregnancy haha #NotJustGettingFatFromTheFood).
I've eaten at a Grill'd down near Geelong and been glutened before-no hard feelings-that was the risk that I took and the disclaimer on the menu does say it's more for gluten intolerances but can I just say!-I've never once been sick from Grill'd in Albury. On top of that as well-the food is always cooked perfectly, tastes amazing and served quickly. And the staff!-You should be very proud of you and your team. Always happy, always helpful, great service overall and always confirm or double check things if they aren't sure about keeping us safe. Well done Grill'd Albury and thank you for always being such Legends!
What was once known as a 'blood bath/brawling house in the 1970s, is now a trendy place with nice decor and great food and drinks. A wide range of Gluten Free foods are available here too.
First time eating here and there are definitely a lot to choose from. It could get overwhelming at first but the staff is always welcome to guide you through the menu. They have vegetarian and gluten free options, and their chicken is Halal too. They can be packed during lunch or dinner hours, but the service will not disappoint. The serving portions will surely satisfy you, and is worth every buck :)
Overall, the place is a great stop to fill your cravings and will definitely recommend this to anyone who deserves a treat!
I came in just the other day during a rush. Was expecting low quality food and a rushed experience. The lady that served me (told me her name was Lisa) took time to make it perfectly. She swapped gloves, scoops, and plates because I told her I was celiac. I’m absolutely coming back, super friendly and patient servers. Burrito was awesome!

Fantastic service. We had a vegetarian and gluten free requirement, and they made us a fantastic burger. Service generally was very accommodating and friendly. Will be back.
Okay, this review is a little overdue, as my wife and I have been here several times. In fact it is our default go to restaurant every time we stop over in Albury on our way to/from NSW/ViC. I am also going to preface this with the note that my wife is a coeliac, which makes finding a reliable eatery very tough. Every time we have been to the Indian Chimney we have not only had exemplary service and hospitality, but the food has been second to none. My personal favorite is chicken tikka masala ( better than I have had anywhere) and my wife is still talking about how good the seasonal vegetable curry is two days after the meal. Sorry, but we had to dig in to the meal before the photo was taken, just couldn’t wait! Love this place, we’ll be back for sure!
Guinness was hot and chemically, service featured no smiles, all three people were uninterested in the quality of meals (bad), gluten free bun was forgotten, then they tried to double charge, then it wasn’t cooked and patty was cold. Overall, not a lot of love and I hope those workers find something that makes them happy, because it’s not this pub. Also, schooner was very expensive.
The Junction Special Loaded Spud is the ultimate level of enjoyment for me my new favourite takeaway, the customer service is second to none, if you're not happy they endeavour to rectify but I am and have not been left unsatisfied 5/5 recommend. I am coeliac and only eat whole foods and this ticks all the boxes. Tal aims to please and treats you like family. A week open and they deserve all the success they deserve. Customer's for life.
An incredible authentic Mediterranean feast with share plates created from family recipes. Every item we ordered was exceptionally tasty, and gluten free. We had the lamb cutlets, grilled chicken, chicken wings, falafel, corn ribs, fatoush, hommus, and gluten free bread. Lovely staff, and beautiful setting. Wheelchair accessible, bathrooms also available.
We were travelling and found sweethearts pizza by chance. Ordered 1 pizza per person and it kept up going all the way to Canberra. There was a wide variety with great flavours and gluten free options
I loved it. The paella had an hour wait but it was worth it. It was seafood and it lacked a little flavour but I enjoyed this because I could actually taste the seafood and other elements. Best calamari I've ever had, partner thought too much batter. Churros and caramel cheesecake for dessert, really yum! I love the amount of gluten free desserts! The food was so yum and the sangria was amazing. We thought the portoins would be small because the place looked really fancy but they were just right. The waitress stacked it hard when delivering our churros out the back, it looked like it hurt and they were literally run off their feet! I gave her a tip for her dedication. The waitress kept apologizing for the wait but I wouldn't say I was waiting too long so I told her it was no problem.
lovely experience and great food. there is a seperate deep fryer for gluten free items, but you can't have the corn chips if coeliac as they are pre cooked in the normal fryer. 🙄
We had the buffet and it was all delicious, all the curries were Gluten Free so I was spoiled for choice. The curries were quite mild so suitable for the whole family bit they can add chilli if you want it hotter.
Wonderful service and staff. We felt a very good vibe here. We ordered eggs Benedict, eggs were beautiful but ham was reconstituted and bread was basic but they did have gluten free option, which is important for me.
Nice simple breakfast
Thank you guys
Lovely cafe with a great menu. Friendly, wonderful staff. Great gluten free options. Comfortable tables and seating with a really nice atmosphere. Clean, comfortable toilet with change table. Good coffee and the food was really good.
I am obsessed with their pasta! It Is beyond delicious. There are great gluten free options as well. Every night I’m in there I see many people ordering the pizza. I haven’t had a chance to try myself as I can’t get past the pasta!
