Can I give this place 100 stars??? The food is spectacular. Tasty and authentic... not your generic Thai place. Everything is homemade and it shows. They were easily able to accommodate a gluten allergy. If I weren't leaving Gold Coast tomorrow, I'd be eating there again and again.
Caffe Republic is a local favorite located within Bronberg Plaza, offering fresh, delicious food and friendly, attentive service. I loved my matcha latte, and every ingredient on my plate was fresh and prepared with care. The only downside for me was the gluten-free seeded toastโit was very thin and dry, mostly made of almonds, nuts, and seeds, which didnโt pair well with the eggs. It felt more like a nut cracker alongside a poached or scrambled eggs, whereas a soft toast would have been a better base for the eggs especially yolks and other elements on the plate.
I will definitely return to try something different from the menu, as there are many fascinating dishes to choose from. Parking is easy, and with several grocery shops nearby, the location is very convenient.
Thank you.

Services very efficient and within time manner. Food selection are great in particular when you have friends with gluten intolerance. Tasty and delicious. Another bonus is dog friendly.
This was our first time visiting here, and both the food and service were excellent.
The menu was set out well, and very easy to read.
There are Gluten free options, and are open until late.
We will definitely return.
The best coffee, ever. Coffee before work is a daily highlight, whether it be an iced or hot cup, its always smooth & delicious. We love our morning chats with the guys, listening to the tunes pump while we wait. To top it off, the food is also top notch, and so accommodating, was very excited to find many gluten free options.
Ordered brunch via Ubereats and they really blew me away with their food! Fantastic for the price and it was so fresh and delicious, and the even had amazing gluten free bagels! If I were a local this would be my new favourite brunch place for sure.
We visit here each time we visit our daughter.
Love the outdoors atmosphere and can provide gluten free food. Keep up the good work and we will continue to visit.
Great food, great variety, great service!
They even had gluten free options, and were very helpful in navigating the menu/ options. We were very, very impressed!
Dec-24, breakfast. Delicious meal had by both of us. The cassoulet with pork belly was just the right amount of spiciness... Not too much, not too little. Brekky burger was tasty and my request for a gluten free bun did not present a problem.
The large coffees were nice and strong; my second coffee (small, single shot) was far too weak, and was more like a faint coffee-flavoured warm milk. I did not finish it
Service was prompt and friendly. My request, though, for a coffee "not filled to the top but at about 90%" was acknowledged; however, the coffee delivered was at about 75% full, even though I told the waitress when ordering that 75% was too little milk. I had to request extra milk.
Atmosphere pleasant enough - if one ignores the view over the carpark and looks out to sea.
We will try a lunch or dinner at some stage. ๐
Very nice breakfast/brunch options. I love their soufflรฉ pancakes, they make it from rice flour so itโs safe for people who are gluten intolerant! Poached eggs were cooked perfectly and bacon was cooked nice & crispy. The only downside - a bit on the pricey side for breakfast/brunch if you add on any extras (mushrooms or hash browns etc). Also, the hot matcha latte just tasted like warm milk, I think they need to add more matcha powder. Otherwise, food was fantastic! ๐
The waiter was super kind and hospitable. The owner even came to our table to check on us (it was near closing) and told us about the restaurantโs backstory!
Lots of gluten free options and the waiter was great at explaining anything we needed. Everyone at my table liked their food. Overall great experience, would go again. ๐
Knowledgeable staff make coffee with flavour. Solid range of gluten free and vegan treats, plus beans to buy. Lots of seats indoor with high stools and booth benches outside in the market area.
First try Korean restaurant in Brisbane. It will be my Go To restaurant every time I fly to Gold Coast.
Very cozy place but high quality of Korean food. I actually tried most of Korean dishes and I was so into it. KFC was so finger licking good and wasnโt that too spicy. Actually they had 2 different taste. Galbi was so yummy and not too sweet. And the rest of dishes were so good with Very good balance. I guess the owner chef has great knowledge of food and nutrition.
The main thing is to use gluten free ingredients and free range eggs.
Staff was so friendly and energetic. And Make sure for everyone to try Mangobingsu as a dessert.
All the best!
Wonderful restaurant. The menu is diverse and offers detailed descriptions of meals for the less experienced diners of Philippino cuisine, like myself. Lots of group sharing options. Excellent service, fast meal preparation, high quality ingredients, full flavoured and nice large serves. Lots of Gluten Free friendly dishes, including desserts.
we recently arranged a birthday event with Shannon and the team at Aviary Rooftop bar - and everything went like clockwork!
Shannon was so helpful with making the arrangements with me leading up to the event, and answering all my questions.
Cameron and the team on the night were so professional with food set up, service and attitude - it made everything so easy for us and everyone had a great time at the function.
We ordered a lot of food to come out at different times throughout the night, and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lot of dietary requirements in our group (vegetarian, gluten free etc) and all were catered for.
Would definitely recommend this venue.
I frequent this friendly Cafe regularly and have goten to know the owner and staff as friends because of it.
They provide excellent customer service, coffee and specialist dietrary cuisine.
I went there today, for a special dish, hand prepared for my partner because she requires gluten free meals and was ill.
Highly recommended and people this genuine are rare on the Gold Coast Qld.
Check them out, you'll be surprised.
They're beautiful.
Came here for lunch on a quiet Friday afternoon. It was certainly a surprise with how well presented the food was. The options were definitely thai influenced which was great, but the fact that it catered to vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dietary required people?!? SHUT THE FRONT DOOR ๐๐
Whilst the food was simple, it was delicious ๐ and you could tell alot of TLC was put into each dish.
Definitely rate this underrated place ๐
Looking forward to trying everything on the menu ๐
Itโs a small place but it looks nice. Avoid going on a Friday or Saturday if you want to have a decent time, otherwise the service wonโt get even close to average. I donโt recommend GF pizzas.
I have been there twice. First time I thought the kindness of the waitress was fake but at least she โdid her jobโ (not really). Second time, it was the same. They are veery disorganised, 4 waitresses looked after our table and they all offered a very poor service (forgetting things, asking if we were ready to order when the order was already placed, slow food, 1h wait โthey lost the docketโ and drinks 30 min for a beer?, pizzas came separately, almost 15 min and I saw mine sitting under the light while my partner was almost finishing hisโฆ)
Food: flavours are good but GF pizzas bases are not worth it. Average and cheap. First time I ordered GF pizza (preference), they brought a nice pizza on a fluffy baseโฆhence I went back and ordered exactly the same, and I got the one in the photo so it made me realised that the first pizza was a normal base! my health could have been at risk of if I was celiac. -again, poor service because they donโt care when they are busy-which is most of the time
