We absolutely love Beertown — and more importantly, we trust Beertown. My fiancé has celiac disease, and it can be really tough to find restaurants where we feel safe AND enjoy great food with lots of options. Beertown is our #1 choice. They have a full gluten-free menu, always take extra care with his order, and he’s never been glutened here — not once. The atmosphere is always warm, welcoming, and a little trendy. Plus, their patio is fantastic — dog-friendly with beds and water bowls brought to your pup without even asking. Couldn’t recommend this location more!
Love having a *for sure* gluten and dairy free spot to get my food at!!! Hard to find good quality & the care for allergen free foods - but you guys crush it! Always my go to place.
Ps. Please bring back the blondie 🥲
I’m incredibly disappointed with the gluten-free pizza I received from Pie Wood Fired Pizza in Barrie. I paid a premium for both the gluten-free crust and extra toppings—and this is what I got? A sad excuse for a pizza with barely any toppings, carelessly thrown on, and zero effort in presentation. The pizza was dry, underwhelming, and looked like it was made without the slightest attention to quality or customer satisfaction.
I always try to support local businesses, but this experience was unacceptable. If you’re charging extra for gluten-free and toppings, the product should reflect that value. This felt more like a disrespectful afterthought than a meal I was excited to support.
Do better.
Valiant’s is an absolute must for anyone looking for Vegan and Gluten Free options. The quality of the food and the service are fantastic! Highly recommend.
We went in tonight for supper and service was amazing. Husband had the rodeo burger and fries amazing! I had the club on gf bun with the side cobb salad amazing! This restaurant needs to be on "You got to eat there!" Thank you for everything and making sure my Celiac does bother me!
It's my favorite place to go and get a meal!!
10/10 hit my pregnancy craving on the nail!
I'm also celiac and they fully understand that love how they shout allergy when making my food so everyone in the kitchen is 100% aware :)
All of it was so yummy 😋 I'll be back soon!!
We were well taken care of! So many nut and gluten free options. Theres a separate menu without gluten, which is huge for someone like me with an allergy.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I had the Mediterranean Chicken which was recommended by the server, who said it was a good choice because it was completely gluten free and I have Celiac. She also recommended pan frying the chicken to ensure no cross contamination. For this, I was thankful and this is the reason I rated the service a 4 star. However, the chicken was way overcooked, to the point of being very dry and difficult to chew. The chickpeas were also overcooked to the point of being mushy. Not sure if would come back to give them another chance. There are many choice of better restaurants in Barrie.
Excellent food. I’m not vegan but I never felt like I was missing much. Amazing portions so no worries about feeling hungry after. Huarache was a stand out dish. Excellent. Great service also. Fast as well. Gluten free options.
First time visiting Il Buco this week and we were there at lunch time. The lunch menu had a set 3 course meal from which you could pick soup or salad, an entree, and a dessert of ice cream or tiramisu (extra $3), or you could order from the a la carte menu. We chose the set meal, and also had a glass of wine each.
I need gluten free so I ordered a goat cheese salad which was delicious, and the pork scallopini, with no breading on the pork, and gluten free pasta. The entree was really good, but I did find the portion a little small. My husband had soup of the day, which was cream of mushroom, the same entree as me but with regular pasta, and the tiramisu for dessert which he said was the best he's ever had. Overall it was a really nice lunch and wine, but was quite expensive so we would probably only go again for a special occasion. Service was great and the server was very helpful in explaining what gluten free options I could have.
You have to pay to park in the municipal lot behind the restaurant, but you can access the restaurant via a back door, so it's very convenient.
Delicious food, friendly service and so many options. You can get your burger/chicken/mushroom etc with any combo of crazy and tasty toppings you can imagine. They also have more plain options for people who just want the basics, and they have a ton of vegetarian and gluten free options so this is a safe place to go for all kinds of eaters. Everything I've ever tried has been really good. The only thing I would say though are the prices are a bit high for what you get, if this place was less expensive it would be perfect but for a treat it's great.
My friends and I went here for a Bachelorette dinner and I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience. They treated us like we were family. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was amazing and the service was truly incredible. My friend has Celiac disease and the server made sure everything was safe for her. We even got a round of champagne! Thank you so much for everything!!
Food was great. I got the tuna poke bowl and my boyfriend got the hickory BBQ burger. My boyfriend is gluten intolerant so he got the gluten free bun, which is $1.99 extra. My meal was great, exactly what I was expecting and delicious. My boyfriend’s meal in the other hand, was missing almost half the toppings that were supposed to be on his burger. It was supposed to come with lettuce, tomato, hickory sticks, and jalapeño peppers. It had no hickory sticks OR jalapeño peppers which was very disappointing…. Like it’s in the name how did they miss that?? And when we got our bill, there was no gluten free bun added which might have just been a mistake and she just forgot to charge us but in my back of my mind…. Was the burger bun even gluten free??? Overall our experience was pretty decent. I would come back again but possibly be more thorough with checking everything is gluten free for my boyfriend? (Which i dont think should even be necessary as we ASKED for gluten free)
OMG! Trinity was amazing!I ordered from this place and it was amazing! They had amazing food and amazing service. I wish I could always eat at this place! They do birthday desserts and some of their food is gluten free! I would highly recommend to eat at this place. 5 stars
Since being diagnosed with celiac, I’ve never had a comfortable eating out experience. Our server, Ashley, made everything so amazing for me. She was quick to tell me a bunch of options and modifications they can do to ensure that I will also enjoy my meal. I have never felt so comfortable before and that’s all thanks to Ashley!!!!! Definitely will come back knowing that I can eat well and know that they take allergies seriously!
This place is a jem. Had pizza and beers with my wife. The staff was awesome. Ryan, our server took the experience to a top 5 dining experience. I won't speak of the beer. You must try them for yourself. But the pizza.. thin crust, no droop, not hard like it will cut your mouth up. Great sauce, flavourful. Then a perfect mix of toppings. My wife is celiac and had the gluten free pizza. I tried a bite and you wouldn't know it was gluten free. This is one of my new favorite pizzas and like I said "go try the beer, it will not disappoint "
Had a great experience here tonight! Staff was super friendly, had a gluten free wrap and the staff went out of their way to ensure I wasn't eating any other gluten containing food. The food was also delicious!
I haven't received service this good anywhere in the past few years, it was great to experience!
Was looking for a good margarita and tortilla chips and guacamole on a patio...found the generous signature Patron margarita (VERY GOOD), awesome tortillas and very tasty guacamole, along with fajitas for 2 with 100% corn tortillas for those sensitive to wheat/gluten. Even though Co-Vid prevented indoor dining at the time, so seating was limited on the patio, a call ahead for reservation guaranteed us a table at 8pm on a friday night.
Don't be surprised if you see a line. Some people are just picking up their takeout food. We only waited for 5 minutes to be seated. The food and staff at Stacked on Essa are amazing! There are so many great menu options. They have many Gluten-free choices as well. We were very surprised and happy to find that. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
Glutenwise menu is great, it allowed me to eat with my family. Menu is a bit confusing the way the G is setup it should be a little clearer if dish is glutenwise or not.
The food is fabulous. Glad that they have an entire section of vegan food with some gluten-free options. They don't seem to be consistent with their prices when it comes to making modifications due to dietary restrictions. They can get a little bit pricey. However it is delicious.
Finally tried out this place and it didn’t disappoint! Picked up takeout for a quick midweek dinner. I ordered the Royale with cheese on a gluten free bun (it’s great they offer this option) and an order of fries. My boyfriend got the double picante burger combo with a poutine. I really enjoyed my burger. The gluten free bun held up - always important. The fries were chiptruck quality, which means they were excellent! My boyfriend enjoyed his burger. He mentioned that the gravy in his poutine had a different taste. He wasn’t a huge fan of that yet still ate it all so clearly it wasn’t bad. A great spot to check out! The staff were friendly and our meals were ready without any real wait. We will be back!
Bridget our server was very friendly and exceptionally attentive to my boyfriends gluten allergy and took the time to explain how the food was prepared. Thank you for a wonderful experience Bridget.
I work in a nearby town and really miss this barbecue. It's delicious. I highly recommend the big gluten. It's really delicious. The skin is very crispy. I only had barbecue this time. I'll try other ones next time. The service is also very enthusiastic. I can't fault it.
ALWAYS the most incredible service! Daniel in particular is informative, helpful and considerate. Food is fresh and full of flavour. I have an egg, dairy and gluten allergy and am so appreciative of how the team ensure I eat something that won’t hurt me but tastes delicious. So many options here, even for the pickiest eaters!
A truly great experience!
We went to the Barrie Jack Astor’s for our first meal out since our child was diagnosed with celiac disease, and we were really nervous about cross-contamination. As soon as we mentioned it, our server Ava was amazing—she took it seriously, told the kitchen right away, and made sure all the proper precautions were followed.
We felt safe, supported, and not like a hassle, which means more than I can say. Huge thanks to Ava and the team for making our first step back into dining out such a positive one.
North Country catered my backyard wedding this summer and were able to accommodate severe gluten allergies so those guests could enjoy too! It was INCREDIBLE food, we got a million complements. Couldn't have gone more smoothly. Thank you!
Went to this location for the first time and had a great experience! Grant was quick to answer any questions and made an extra effort for my gluten allergy. Food was great, perfectly cooked steak and tasty sides. Was great to see the manager coming around and introducing himself as well. Would recommend
Excellent food, excellent customer service. You don't normally see all you can eat buffet have gluten free but the staff went above and beyond to make sure we can have gluten free dinner so we can enjoy our night.
Thank you everyone at Noble Cuisine.

I have been having gluten issues from long time and no crust was suitable for me until I tried the gluten free from here. The crust quality is great just ask them to do it well done.

Excellent service. Our server was the person with whom we made reservations. She remembered one of us had gluten issues and directed us to safe food options. 3 guests. Each had something different. All meals were amazing. Fresh. Excellent presentation.
Will be back
Heidi and the manager at this location went above and beyond to ensure that my dinner was gluten free and even brought me a bowl so I could mix it and make it my own. Thank you for taking the time
You think this food looks good? You should see how it tastes!
Common Good is a delicious cafe with a great, cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for a full meal or just a coffee and dessert this is the place for you. Several gluten free and vegan options, bursting with local flavour, and a menu that includes seasonal fruits and veggies. Our server Taegan was fantastic and sociable. I really couldn't recommend this place more!
