A hidden gem in Canggu!
Oka’s Bakery is a cozy little spot that truly surprised me — everything from the fresh bakes to the calm ambiance was on point. Their croissants and sourdough are some of the best I’ve had in Bali, and I really appreciated the variety of vegan and gluten-free options. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was excellent too. Great for breakfast, a light bite, or even to grab pastries to go. Definitely coming back!
I absolutely love coming here with my bf it’s our go-to Italian restaurant! Their pasta arrabbiata and pomodoro are amazing, full of flavor and the perfect amount of spice. I really appreciate that they offer gluten-free pasta options, which makes it so much easier to enjoy without worries. The ambience is cozy especially with movies playing on screen it creates such relaxing vibe. Plus, the staff are all super friendly and attentive, which always makes our visits feel special. Highly recommend!

This place is sent me to the hospital! They say they are celiac safe with a separate cooking area - I got so sick I had to get wheelchairs to the hospital- and apparently I’m not the first place this restaurant has sent to the hospital for gluten cross contamination. Celiacs DO NOT EAT HERE! They say that they are aware of cross contamination and they are NOT SAFE.
So delicious! Everything was so good. Gluten free pizza was tasty, the charred broccoli, and the pazooki-type cookie & ice cream dessert was incredible. Maya is the best server. Thank you for another incredible meal! I will be back

AMAZING!! So great for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. We had a halloumi bowl, sweet potato wedges and chai lattes, everything was 10/10 delicious, service was lovely, setting is beautiful and shady out of the heat, and it was also reasonably priced. I highly recommend Shady Shack, it’s behind the main road but so worth going the extra few steps or jumping on a scooter to find 👏🏼 Thank you! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Another amazing night at Barbacoa from the moment we stepped out of the car the door was immediately opened and we were swept up into the ambience that is uniquely Barbacoa.
The reception staff were immediately attentive and escorted us to our seat. We were met by the lovely Okta who took our first drink order and gave us a rundown of the menu. Okta is efficient and knowledgeable of the service and products served by Barbacoa.
Nothing was too much trouble and her attentiveness to the small details is worthy of six stars. Okta is pleasant and she made our evening with her amazing personality without intruding on our evening. Keep up the amazing service and attitude Okta you are professional and personable.
Love the amazing flavours from this establishment and the finesse of changing up the menu every time we visit.
As a coeliac I am ever grateful for the attention to my needs and nothing is too much trouble. Always feel safe eating here.

Highly recommend the Mediterranean nourish bowl (I ordered Egg + Avo on the side), it was absolutely beautiful, every single element was perfection. My husband ordered the breakfast criminal, and thoroughly enjoyed it- poached eggs were perfect. My Kombucha was great, and the oat iced latte was that good that my husband ordered two.
Really quiet place to enjoy a feed, drink, or work. Relaxing tunes in the background was a nice touch.

Shop with cosmetics, food, bakery and cafe. An excellent establishment with a very wide selection of dishes, which has marks for vegetarians and gluten-free diets. The cafe is 2 floors, there are many seats. The furniture is good quality wooden. There is a huge selection of desserts downstairs, all very tasty.
There is also a store with manufactured goods, cosmetics, teas, spices and groceries. A little bit of everything, but all the basic and necessary goods are available. Wide range of goods and sweets made in Bali
It's a pleasure to come here, firstly because of the flexibility of the dishes. They're open to customizing what's possible if you have any intolerances. Secondly, the staff is wonderful; they're very patient and kind. The place is beautiful, and last but not least, the food is delicious. The only thing is that they've changed the recipe for the gluten-free cakes, and honestly, it's not as good as before. It's still good. I would recommend going back to the old recipe and expanding the gluten-free cakes.

I love going to secret spot they make delicious yummy plant based fresh food. All the staff are absolutely beautiful Resma has served us every single day that we have visited and just a beautiful happy person my husband loves their coffee I love the breakfast burrito with guacamole and my kids love the gluten free berry pancakes. They have playing blocks for the kids.
For me the best place in Bali. It’s a real happy place. Everyone is so friendly and the balcony (and everything else) is great. ❤️and also they have gluten-free bread/ options

Anyone with coeliac disease, rest assure this place is legit. After a bad breakfast gluten contamination from a place that was, apparently, a safe 5 star restaurant for coeliac, Twoface Canggu were all over it. We have had breakfast there every day (5 mornings)as their gf sour dough bread is out of this world with no issues . Last night we arrived a little early for dinner, and when I asked about getting something mild to eat as I was still recovering from my gluten poisoning and my stomach was still unsettled, the manager overheard my conversation with the lovely waitress and came over and served us personally. Assured me that their chefs are fully aware of the repercussions of a coeliac getting contaminated, whilst he said it’s never 100% guaranteed ( as they have to say that) I didn’t have any issues. Well done Twoface Canggu for your understanding.
I’ve been to Bambu for dinner twice now and both experiences were 10/10. Friendly and attentive service, delicious food and drinks, and the setting is unique. Special thanks to Ketut who served us on both occasions, as he was helpful with gluten free options and just very friendly. Bambu is a must-visit.

They were great with my son being a ceoliac. He could eat the french fries, grilled octopus, kids chicken wings, hommus with cucumber sticks, cheese cake and pavlova.
Very good discovery in Bali. It is a restaurant that offers many varieties and alternatives for people with allergies. I was delighted to find alternatives to gluten. The food is really good and the atmosphere is nice.

The food used to be very good and I was happy with their gluten free options, but I've had two bad experiences already. The first one: the food took 3 hours to arrive, when the restaurant is 15 minutes from my house. And the second and most unpleasant one, my order tasted like VOMIT! and they didn't take responsibility when I complained. I won't risk a third bad experience :(
Went in on a Monday night and we were were the only people. The food was really good and the servers were awesome. Loved the vibe and the amount of gluten free options. Might want to confirm that they are actually gluten free as some reviews had problems. We will be back for brekky this trip
Being from Melbourne, sometimes you just need that home style Greek tavern food, after trying out multiple taverns in Bali, ubud etc, this is by far the closest one to home. On top of that, John the manager/owner was straight up about making everything we ordered gluten free and knew exactly what was up! 100 percent recommend, needed it to crave my Greek food addiction after 10 days from home and it fulfilled my every need. thank you
Tucker is such a hidden gem in Canggu. Just down the road from my Homestay, they offer regular as well as delicious gluten-free bread with their sandwiches. I had the Mr. Pacino sandwich and I devoured it. Lovely service and overlooking lush Balinese greenery. Highly recommend.
Lovely outdoor smoke house situated within beautiful garden. The gochujang glazed ribs are an absolute must, all entrees delicious especially the corn! Thank you Edwin for fantastic service to our group and being extra careful with our gluten free guest. Thank you Edwin for making our birthday boy feel very special. We will be sure to make this a top recommendation in Bali and can’t wait to return!

They were accommodating with my son being a ceoliac. He ate the roasted duck, large king prawns, BBQ corn Ribs and french fries.
Not all the menus had the GF listed next to the dishes so had to ask staff to advise on dishes.
