Great food and if you are looking för gluten free food this place has alot of options since pretty much everything is gluten free. The drinks where also great.
Special thanks to our waitress Aneta!
Absolutely gorgeous and delicious vegan cakes. I had the matcha mojito tort, and my partner had the red velvet raspberry cake. We got the pistachio croissants to take home, and they were delightful. They also had a lot of gluten free cakes and great coffee and tea options. Will definitely be returning.
We were there out of season, so the place was easy and the waiting time was very short. For me, a big plus is that the fish has gluten-free breading, so for the first time in many years I ate fried fish, not grilled fish. The flounder (although of course not seasonal) is very good, as are the side dishes. Very nice service. We will definitely come back!
We accidentally noticed this place because of the nearby accommodation and thank goodness for that! The food was delicious! Pizza with asparagus 11/10, truffle pasta 11/10, pistachio pasta also delicious (gluten-free versions). We were served by a Cook/Chef (?) - mega plus for great communication with us and other customers. Everyone felt taken care of and at the same time could learn a bit of history and talk to an enthusiast :) Mr. Cook probably also trained a young waitress 👏 I overheard some very cool and valuable advice, it's nice to see such a level of culture and commitment in a place that is being created. I hope that these people will dispel the negative comments about one of the ladies from the service, we did not experience any negative emotions there. I highly recommend it!
The service was very friendly! When I informed them that I can't eat gluten, they made sure that I wouldn't order anything that could harm me. I felt really safe, which is rare in restaurants in the city - I'm all the more glad that I could spend such a nice dinner with my loved ones!
Very nice service, delicious food. Generous and colorful portions. A great option for gluten-free people, plus a nice playlist and soft lighting. We will definitely come back at the next opportunity and I will highly recommend it. Regards
Beautiful and authentic cafe. Interesting post-industrial decor with vintage accents, great and friendly service, lots of healthy, gluten-free and sugar-free options 😚
A fantastic dinner, with many Gluten Free options, such as tartare, cheese and ribs. The waitress's level of English was very good and the place was very elegant.
We ate here today because a local guide recommended it to us. It is a typical Polish food restaurant in Gdansk. You have a very complete menu with meat and fish and we have really enjoyed the food. They have been very kind when we have had them reformat a plate of ribs so that it was gluten-free without any problems. It's not that it's cheap but it's not expensive either and I recommended it to everyone who comes to Gdansk.
A lots of gluten free options 😉
It's old building, not so inviting outside, but very cozy inside. We were at breakfast and dinnertime there. There is quiet at breakfast time, but for dinnertime the hole restaurant was full, you need definitely to make reservations for dinnertime.
All the foods that we have eaten were excellent and tasty. The service was very friendly and waitress very helpful. I highly recommend this place if you are in Gdansk.
Extremely tasty burgers in many different variations. Whether gluten-free, veggie or vagan. There is something for everyone. However, the burger patties feel smaller and the prices have become more expensive. We left 150 zloty for 4 people (1xvegan, 1xgluen-free and 2xnormal citizens + 2x real mini fries and 2 drinks). Those are really western prices. The bill was a bit too salty for our taste.
There are different tastes and preferences
For me Baba od Rzeźnik is nothing special
The waitress informed us about gluten-free dishes, but at the checkout it turned out that there were only two (slight inaccuracy :))
Delicious fish and very nice service!!! Probably the best one I've eaten at the Polish seaside so far!!! A small minus for the fish soup, in my opinion tomatoes would enrich its taste, but this is a matter of taste. You have to wait in line to order and pick up, but it's definitely WORTH IT!!!!! People with gluten intolerance will also eat it because rice flour is used
Atmospheric place with authentic Thai food. Very nice, helpful staff. A plus for vegetarian and gluten-free versions and the chef's involvement. I was with a friend from London. We recommend it 😍
Great food and brilliant suggestions by our waiter Bartek P. Well worth a visit whether you are gluten or gluten intolerant. Very authentic, but great communicators👍
I came to Mandu enticed by promises of “everyday morning stuffing production” and “dumplings made exclusively fresh and on the fly!” The khinkali menu even emphasizes “hand-ground meat.” Unfortunately, my khinkali tasted like mass-produced frozen food. It is also obvious that they are machine-made – each khinkali looked exactly the same as the others.
After the first bite, the dough was dense and slightly rubbery, with only a few drops of broth inside, and the stuffing was dry, bland, with a metallic aftertaste and completely stale coriander. This is a typical effect of deep freezing: large ice crystals disrupt the gluten network (hence the hard skin), and in meat, freezing denatures proteins and oxidizes fat, so the aromas of the “broth” escape with the water, and the volatile coriander oils (linalool, E-2-decenal) escape during defrosting. In Georgia, you can buy identical, industrially frozen khinkali – I have nothing against such products (it is not a culinary crime), but in a place that prides itself on freshness, it is doubly disappointing.
Pros? Friendly service and pleasant interior.
Major minus: the dish for PLN 42 completely failed to live up to its marketing promise.
Delicious fish, what's important, ladies can easily make something gluten-free and they know what they're talking about, I'm really impressed, I recommend it
Grilled Calamari is delicious. A restaurant with atmosphere. Very nice service. Gluten-free dishes, which is very important to us. We will definitely come back next time we visit. I recommend
Excellent dinner all around! Our waiter was extremely personable, made recommendations when asked, and spoke excellent English. Travelling with Celiac is always a challenge, but we were assured that much of the menu is actually gluten-free naturally! Still, our server was more than happy to discuss each ingredient in the steak I wanted to order, so that I could be sure there wasn't some uncommon gluten item accidentally snuck in there. And bonus for those of us who aren't great with dairy... Their bernaise sauce is actually lactose-free too! Win-win!
Very nice upscale restaurant in the most touristic place in Gdańsk. It was super busy and tables are mixed with romantic sittings and large tables with families with babies and kids watching loudly films on their phones. Hard sale of expensive wagu beef and champagne. Prices are similar to restaurants in London (in menu prices of steaks by 100 grams which is cheeky). Still, the service was impeccable, very friendly and accommodating (forgot to tell them before about gluten free bread and they made no issues). They were very attentive to the dietary requirements for my husband. I had amazing beef tartar and for the main had an octopus, both dishes were delicious and generous,
Was not able to finish the second plate. My husband had ceviche and than seafood platter. It would give the restaurant 5 stars but unfortunately my husband was sick all night after his seafood dishes! This cannot happen anywhere and especially in a restaurant which is fine dining.
Very nice place.
Tasty and with gluten-free tacos.
High five for the gentleman who has been working here for 2-3 years - great service!
A! The fries are top notch!
#glutenfree
I believe that to have a successful holiday you should visit this place :) It is a really good restaurant with very nice service. My friend has celiac disease and cannot tolerate even trace amounts of gluten, her needs were taken very seriously and everyone left full and feeling good. Everything we ate and drank was delicious, huge portions, beautifully presented. It was a feast for the body and the spirit. Worth the price, especially since the next day in Łeba we paid slightly less for a piece of fried fish with a spoon of salad and fries XD
Apart from the great location on the promenade in Ustka. Great food, which definitely stands out on the gastronomic map of Ustka. Perfect knowledge of the menu by the waitress serving. We wanted gluten-free food and that's what we got. No sickness sensations after eating, which is not always the standard when we ask for gluten-free dishes. Everything prepared perfectly. We will definitely come back again and we will recommend to friends.
Emerged in everything. We arrived quite late, but that wasn't a problem at all. We were warmly welcomed and advised (we eat vegan + gluten-free). The food was very tasty, everything was beautifully prepared. The ambience is really nice, even the music system is high quality. At the end we had a nice exchange with the cashier. Definitely recommended!
Very nice place, nice arrangement. The French toast is delicious, unfortunately the Passata could be better. Mr. Julian provided very nice service, overall I highly recommend it :) Plus for gluten-free/vegan options! Thank you for thinking about us
Very good atmosphere and also members of staff are very well informed about coeliac and gluten intolerance issues! Had an amazing gluten free meal here and the menu is very well labelled in terms of gluten free, veg and vegan dishes! Will be back the next time in Gdansk!
7 people, various dishes, all delicious, friendly service and helpful in choosing a dish for a person allergic to fish, lactose, gluten, garlic and nuts. We highly recommend it :)
