A great little mom and pop restaurant where you get friendly service and good food at every visit. It's one our families favorite places to eat. They also keep the restroom clean and have gluten free options. I highly recommend this place!
What an amazing, healthy and so inviting place for breakfast and lunch. Super friendly service, only the freshest organic ingredients, gluten-free options, just-squeezed juices. It’s heaven.
I was nervous about trying this place with my Celiac / Gluten Free restricted hunny.
Crema literally knocked the experience out of the park! They have multiple gluten-free options, and it was such a cute little city vibe. I would 10/10 recommend and come here on our next visit!!!
We are from the valley and are staying in cottonwood. We saw this place as we drove in and saw that it was super cute. We love old diner vibes. The service is not the style of sit down and someone takes their order. I thought it was cool that we check off what we want and give it to them and they verbally confirm that it's what we want. They do bring the food out to you, but again don't expect the modern service style, which is not a bad thing we love it!
In my opinion, I had the deluxe cheeseburger and it was probably one of the best I have had in a long time. We were also super impressed that they had gluten free buns. My wife has Celiac disease and while we know there is always a risk of cross contamination when we eat out, they took care in the request of being gluten free which we appreciate. The fries were good, I could see if someone says theyre too salty because they are heckin salty but I love salt so it was perfect for me.
We didn't have too many interactions with the staff but every time we did if we had a question they were pleasant and kind.
As like everything these days money is a factor. Everything is a la carte- no combos. We got two fountain drinks, two orders of large fries, I got a deluxe burger with cheddar cheese, mayo, lettuce, pickles and grilled onions. My wife got a double deluxe burger, gluten free bun, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, pickles, lettuce and mayo. Which came out to roughly 60ish dollars for all of it. We did select items that I expected to have an upcharge. Still, price is probably the only thing I could say negative about this place but unfortunately that's everywhere now a days. It ended up being worth it because of how much we loved the food and vibe.
When we come up here again we will absolutely stop by. Might even come by tomorrow because they have shakes which I was too full to try but absolutely want to!
---------
Update went back for shakes the next day, my wife got strawberry ice cream shake with sprinkles and whipped cream and I got vanilla ice cream shake with bananas, peanut butter and whipped cream.
Sadly my wife did not enjoy her shake, I absolutely LOVED mine. My wife tried mine and also loved it so I think it was just the flavors she picked that made it lack luster. But my combo was the bomb dot com. Will definitely come back when we do a staycation.
Our server Cali was great. Wonderful customer service. It was a little busy on a Saturday night. We came in for a bite to eat while visiting for the weekend. The ranch dip was super watery and not very good. My daughter didn't care for the kids mac n cheese. It was described to be close to the box brand and it was far from that. The rueben sandwich was covered in parsley and was overkill. The avocado on my BLTA was bad and made the sandwich inedible. The stuffed quesadilla was basic and again covered in parsley. My mother enjoyed the gluten free bun and coleslaw.
Great experience! Nice ambiance, service was seamless and friendly, yummy food! I had the shrimp cocktail & chicken Piccata. Several gluten-free options. The server mentioned they have gluten-free buns for their burgers.
This is a small place. While it is a sit-down and eat place, there is no table service. We ordered quite a bit of food, and it was priced fairly. The passion fruit margarita tasted pretty weak. Very little alcohol and the ice took up a lot of room. I was pretty disappointed. Our family didn't care for the garlic fries. The sampler Platter is big enough to share and still have leftovers. There are tons of sauces to choose from from sweet to spicy ! While the cornbread was good I'd pass on that price. My mother enjoyed the gluten free bread option. The kids menu is your typical basic menu. We don't go to cottonwood often but these staff were super nice and talkative. I would have liked a few other healthy options. We ended up taking home left overs and they did not taste great the second time much better fresh. We all enjoyed the decor and tons of souvenirs you can purchase including the bbq sauces !
Gluten free crust was OK, regular pizza very good, interaction with staff felt mostly felt like I was imposing on them than supporting the business, but I guess that makes it more NY authentic?
The cutest little cafe! Such a perfect place for the morning after a camping trip — great coffee, yummy breakfast, kind and quick service, AND dairy free, sugar free, and gluten free options!
Cute and local place. Great atmosphere.
Staff was amazing and very helpful & patient. I have food allergies, gluten free, dairy free, soy free
I did a build your own salad.
CJ was very patient and helpful - wiped everything down for me, took very good care of my food it was beautiful, so fresh and tasty.
They have amazing gluten-free muffins and coconut milk as an alternative. This place is a gluten/dairy sensitive girlie's dream! Also the cardamom latte is to die for.
My favorite gluten free option in Cottonwood! Delicious vegan and vegetarian GF currys as well as Kombucha. Glad to know they offer both dine in and takeout! We had the best anniversary lunch!
