The best part about this place is the service- if you’re in the mood for a friendly chat. You can tell this place is deeply cared for, but this place is only good if you are gluten-free and have to be. I’m vegetarian was vegan 7 years have eaten food like this from all over the country and world. There’s tons of options but everything is tasteless or bad to me here.I tried the vegan/gluten-free biscuit and a cake and wow. Just not for me. I think vegan and gluten-free people are more generous with their reviews because there are less places like this. I don’t mean to be sour, but I just won’t be coming back myself.
Seated quickly. Nice family atmosphere but good adult vibe as well. Sat outside in this wonderful GA weather. Cold Beer and water was at the table by Andrew in two and two😜. Had the wings appetizer and it was great with the house BBQ sauce and blue cheese. Large, saucy crispy wings! I was at 5 stars already but then the pizza came. The photo says it all. It was a little different as it’s Chicago style. More a pie crust than a gluten heavy pizza crust. I did see other pizzas with the traditional crust so don’t let it hinder you from this place. Great sauce, pepperoni, onion and pineapple pie. Not bad price but not great. Everything out is a little more nowadays. Guys, I felt this place was unique, different and absolutely worth the visit. I’ll came back and I do recommend.
One of my favortie spots for breakfast/brunch. The coffee is very good and I love the gluten-friendly options. The atmosphere is friendly and you can tell the restuarant works as a team. Would definitely recommend!
With receiving the 2024 Michelin Bib Gourmand, I was particularly excited to experience Table & Main during my visit back home over the holidays. Although the experience was nice, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed with my meal here.
Pros:
- There was thoughtful attentiveness to members of our party with allergies: gluten & dairy free.
- The restaurant is incredibly charming and sweet, set in an historic southern home.
- Appetizer: Fancy Cornbread Bites & Honey Butter - amazing!
- Appetizer: Hogs ‘n Quilts - super delicious!
- Appetizer: Cornbread Panzella Salad- fun & different!
- Main: Fried Chicken- highly celebrated by the members of our party who ate it.
- Dessert: Sorbet - tasty!
Mids:
- Cocktails were decent. With a more elevated cocktail menu, this element of the dining experience could really sing.
- Main: Market Fish- Stripped Bass, was okay. It felt like this dish was missing a sauce or final component to bring it all together.
- In general, our server was experienced and helpful. At the start of our meal, she felt a bit curt and uninviting but became a bit warmer throughout our time.
Cons:
- We were sat at a large table in an area of the restaurant abutting the kitchen and doors leading outside. This caused constant commotion all around our table for the duration of our meal. It was quite cold for my Mom who sat closest to the door. This could easily be fixed by hanging curtains. And, I wished there was some sort of barrier between our table and the kitchen doors.
- Lighting felt overly bright. I desired for the environment to feel more cozy.
- My partner ordered a side of mashed potatoes. When his main dish was served, they gave him mac & cheese instead. Even when he pointed this out, the waiter never corrected this mistake.
- When dessert was served to half of our party, we had no utensils. We waited a while but no one brought spoons or anything. So, I ended up grabbing rolled up forks in napkins sitting nearby. Then halfway through their dessert, our waiter returned to take dessert orders for the other half of our party.
I think this restaurant does a lovely job of capturing southern charm & classic southern dishes. With a few tweaks, I would love to come back and experience it again. Overall, our party of 6 rated the restaurant a 6.5/10.
Both the gluten free pizza was loaded with toppings and the 3 different kinds we ordered were amazing. The Regular pizzas also did not disappoint! Will definitely be returning.
The outdoor patio is adorable and decorated for the holidays, but we sat inside because it was a colder night. The inside is welcoming, casual and unassuming - jeans or cute outfit appropriate. Our server, Isabelle, was an absolute gem. She was super patient with my GF questions, offered to double check everything for me (and did), informed me that bread is cooked on the same surface as the shrimp I ordered in case I had celiac and didn't bat an eye when I asked if she would ask the chef to cook my shrimp "well done". The shrimp and grits were flavorful, a decent sized portion, had just the right amount of cream (not too heavy like some places), were topped with thinly sliced char grilled onions and bell peppers and instead of having andouille or another type sausage, I think the pork flavor came from small bites of bacon. I had their version of a NOLA hurricane so I can't be 100% sure. It packed a punch and was fruity without tasting like processed sugar. BTW - the shrimp and grits did not have any tomato sauce in them (I like them both ways) and I did enjoy Roux's different take on seasoning them with the char grilled veggies that easily blended into the grits to have with each bite. We went early - maybe 6:00 and while the bar was full, the tables were empty. By the time we left an hour later, the tables were full. I appreciate that Isabelle split our check in half and my receipt came with pre-calculated tipping options and, of course, a space for a "custom tip". I practice brutal honesty so I will include that while our table looked clean and was set with silverware, the top of the table was a little sticky on my side. I didn't bother mentioning it to Isabelle because I hadn't seen my friend in 5 months and was too busy talking. I know if I said something it would have taken care of it right away. I did notice daily drink specials on a chalk board by the bar. Roux seems like the kind of place I could go to on my own and feel comfortable. Thanks for the good meal and excellent service, Isabelle!!!
Little known fact: Chipotle is very careful to keep gluten and soy out of their food that is not wheat based. It's so great to have a place for us to eat without worrying.
Yes, the workers are spotty, depending on when you go. I don't think many of them work there long enough to be trained up.
Never disappointed. Great place for a peaceful dinner to let the traffic die down. My grandmother was Italian and the pomodoro sauce is so very close to hers, it’s like eating at home again. Love the gluten free option of zoodles. I feel comfortable eating here by myself and will continue to come time and again. Thank you to the kind staff for being so helpful. A true gem.
It was our first time eating here. We came because my friend who I went with recommended it, and honestly, 1920 Tavern did not disappoint. The food was soooo good, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating! It was my birthday, and when they brought out the desserts, they had brought it out with a candle and even got us an extra candle for the little cupcake my friend gifted me. Definitely a memorable experience, and I want to thank Reggie and Lucas who went out of their way to make sure we were set with everything and had a great time. There was also another staff member who we spoke with about the menu with, but I can't recall if he ever told us his name. But yes, I absolutely recommend if anyone is on the fence about coming here, DO IT! For anyone with gluten sesitivities, the menu is labeled to let you know what's safe to eat as well as the staff just being knowledgeable about their menu. We had gotten the smoked salmon crostinis as our appetizer. For our main course, we had the braised boneless short ribs, lamb chops, and seared ahi tuna as well as two additional sides. I can appreciate a place that compliments me whenever I order my lamb rare, haha. For dessert, we ordered bread pudding, the peanut butter cake with bacon pieces, and MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE, the creme brulee. The caramelized sugar with the berry compote was absolutely everything! Everything was cooked to perfection, and I honestly can't wait to come back for another event or even just a casual dinner with friends or family. Thank you so much for the experience!
Great place. Staff was great and there to help. They even was great about making sure my Gluten-free wife was taken care of and made her food after cleaning up the area. A must eat at place and have a few drinks 🍸 😋
The sweetest place! I love how wholesome it is, it’s so lovely, the gluten free blondie was so good, and so was the hot chocolate! The aesthetic & the curated items there are so lovely too. The faith element made me fall in love with the place! All in all, one of my fave coffee shops.
We did their restaurant week menu and the food was amazing! They have gluten free options for each course and Michael our server was so good! He was busy but we never felt ignored.
Food was very good, the restaurant was very clean and nice inside and the service was great. Gluten free options available so this made my wife very happy. We went for breakfast and I would recommend this spot for good food, good service and a nice environment.
I’ve never written a review before but I fell in LOVE with Heart and Seoul!!! Owned by the two sweetest sisters, Julie and Jeany, they made us feel so welcomed. Heart and Seoul gives you a warm home-y feel right when you walk in, unlike any other cafe experience I’ve ever had.
The food was amazing, everything is homemade with high quality ingredients. I ordered the Spicy hot pocket, Seoul sandi and the OG bibimbap. (The homemade kimchi is as good as it gets!) We also tried the blueberry scone, orange earl grey muffin, matcha raspberry muffin and gluten free double chocolate chunk brownie. The desserts were just perfect, I can’t want to go back and try everything else!!
This is a must try. You will not regret it!
One of our favorite places to eat at. The food is the best. They have gluten free too! Individual bathrooms that are clean. I got a huge wedge salad with chicken. They have seasonal specials that rock too. We will always come back. Service is awesome. Make a reservation they do get busy on the weekends.
I came and asked for some gluten free options and the waiter and waitress were very accommodating with recommendations. I had the Branzino fisherman style with potatoes and chimichurri sauce, it was very well seasoned. I didn’t want to stop eating the potatoes because I love potatoes anyway ( but mixed with the sauce was tooo good). I would go back. The bar is also decorated with nice paintings and it’s makes it’s interesting while eating.

Had an amazing father's day for my husband. He loved the food and ate every last bit of it. Didn't take pictures because we were enjoying ourselves. The staff was helpful with my gluten allergy and they were super attentive. Only a tiny drawback we can't sit inside because its really dark and loud so we always sit outside.
Excellent service and so accommodating for Gluten Free changes! Food was excellent and the vibe was relaxed but we were sat in front of the kitchen area and it was very loud.
One of my favorite restaurants in all of the Atlanta area! Wonderful service and authentic Spanish cuisine. The owner is very hands on and a delightful person to converse with. And the caveat for me, plenty of gluten free options!
Alexis was our bartender/server and she was wonderful! The drinks were so delicious, particularly the il calabrone martini. And the gluten free pasta (tagliatelle) cacio e pepe was phenomenal. She also gave us a champagne toast for my mom’s birthday.
I am gluten free (celiac disease) and was so grateful for the service we received! Andrea was so helpful in navigating cross contamination. She let us know that the fryer is cross contaminated but that the chips are fried in freshly changed oil. I was still hesitant to eat them, so she offered to have corn tortillas pan cooked so I could enjoy their queso and salsa which were delicious! Thank you for being so welcoming and helpful!!
Excellent Mediterranean food, great service, very cute atmosphere, delicious desserts. Highly recommend the vanilla baklava gelato and the grilled chicken taouk!! And catered to gluten free needs!!!
