Excellent burgers! Was surprised to find gluten free and vegan options. Probably the best vegan burger of my life and was so excited to get a gluten free bun! The fries are to die for. My husband also loved his food.
We went on a Thursday and the food was overcooked but on Saturday the food was just right. They have great gluten free options and the wait staff is amazing.
Stopped by for lunch on my husbands birthday. Host noticed it was his birthday when checking his ID for the beer. Gave him a beer on the house for his birthday! Service and food is always excellent, which makes the atmosphere amazing. I noticed they also have gluten free options.
Love this place!
A local gem with delicious food and great location on the island's main street. Friendly service. Dreaming still about the Georgia shrimp & peach cobbler. Gluten Free menu was much appreciated.
I was so excited to see a bagel place that had gluten free options. I got a sausage, egg, and cheese on a gluten free everything bagel. It was delicious and the staff were so kind. Definitely coming back when I’m in SSI again!
Servers: triple check your food before serving it -- the kitchen often misses those "gluten-free bun" details. Also, don't ask me if I need the sandwich "re-made" or "re-plated" and then bring me a re-plated (sandwich contents moved from wheat bread to gluten-free bread) after I've asked it to be re-made. For Pete's sake, you even used the same sandwich pick! The *patron* pays the price for these mistakes and inconsistencies. Health before wealth, every day.
Great pulled pork sandwich- the world famous Bushwacker ( spiked milk shake) was out of this world- and excellent service including attn to gluten free concerns.
This place was really a surprise find! First of all, I’m gluten free so sometimes it’s difficult find ing food options. They have TONS of gluten free options. The service was excellent. Drinks perfect. Food was so good. We will definitely be back. It was just my husband and I. We sat at a high top in the bar. Great place to people watch. I highly recommend!
Small place. Limited gluten free options. Marinara sauce was very good. Service was good but slow because it's a small place. We had to sit at the bar because the table wait was 90 minutes.
My husband had lasagna rolls they were good. Our other diner had a veal special but it was overcooked and too salty. They replaced his meal with hesitation.
Dinner was absolutely great! We got an array of fish, fried chicken, and short ribs. Everything was spectacular. Our waiter Derek was on point with everything, even my sisters gluten allergy. The pot stickers were great. Cocktails amazing. 10/10 would go back again.
We arrived around 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon. It’s a cute place - kind of southern plantation meets island vibe. It was pretty slow, but there seemed to be a lot of staff milling around. The bar area had a couple of tvs with sports shows. Service wasn’t good. Staff seemed nice and various people stopped by at various times, but no one seemed to be actually taking care of us. It took a while to get drinks and then place our orders, one order was wrong, another didn’t have the listed sauce, we had to ask for refills when we could catch people, and no extra napkins were given as usually happens when seafood is served. Not fun. However, they made fresh coffee for my friend, gave me better tea when I asked (the original was bitter) and turned on the big ceiling fans when my friend asked. So it wasn’t awful. Just not good. But on a more positive note, the food was good. The coconut crusted Mahi Mahi sandwich was so good I ditched the bread and just ate the fish. My friend can’t have gluten so she ordered a Mahi Ruben without bread. While she brought her own gluten free bread, she didn’t use it as what they served was very good on its own. So we would probably come back for the food, but we’d probably try other places nearby first to see if we get better service. One food thing - the French fries were coated, which I did not see listed on the menu, and which probably means they are not gluten free.
An eclectic mix of Asian cuisine with a coastal flare. Our waitress was informative, providing gluten free options and detailed descriptions of the dishes and cocktails. We enjoyed the Black Magic raw oysters from Prince Edward Island, salmon belly marinated with pear and slivered Brussel spout salad with dried cherries and poppyseed vinaigrette. The drinks were well-balanced and not overly complex. All and all, an enjoyable dining experience.
Wow! Delicious food, friendly service, great price, and fun atmosphere! We went to Bubba Garcia's after a very small family wedding a few months ago; and they set up a buffet of tacos and fajitas that was scrumptious! The staff treated everyone from the youngest to oldest with respect and friendliness. Our gluten free and vegan guests had no issues finding plenty to eat; and the Braves game was on in the background! They set up a small room for us; and we were able to eat, visit, and socialize as long as we wanted with no pressure to wrap it up. We will definitely be back whenever we're at the Island and can't recommend this place highly enough!
Oh my gosh. We love it. We went here on a Friday night. We got there at 4pm since we knew the place would full up fast. We had the most outstanding tapas. I got the tomato bisque which had a balsamic vinegar on it. Then, I had the fried sweet potato and goat cheese balls which were amazing. We had a small sample of olives and cheese. Then we had the gluten free pizza with cheese, figs and a balsamic glaze. The shrimp was excellent as well. Our waitress, Rain, was excellent and the place is first class. Will be visiting again soon!!!!
The food was great and the Gluten-free options were not only plentiful but yummy the whole party was happy with their dishes. The service was great! Our waiter julia was super nice and helpful.
Such a charming place with a great history. Food was excellent. Really appreciate all the gluten free choices. Cute atmosphere, great service. Will definitely come back.
