I have Celiacs disease and they answered all my questions about gluten free options and was extreamily thorough with how they made the food asking which specific fries go with which meal, the regular meal or the gluten free meal. 10 out of 10! Thank you crew!
Other reviewers left the impression that vegan options and gluten free options were available. Not really. I was able to find a salad I could omit cheese from and it actually was really good and the reason I gave it as high of a review as I did. However vegan cheese substitutes would have been much preferred. Having burger w/o a vegan patty option is a horrible plan for any restaurant in 2024 and beyond. Didn't want a salad, wanted something hot to warm me up with. Maybe they'll see this and improve...? Almost not sure that I care.
Waitress was excellent. Ambiance was way up there. Everyone else at my table enjoyed their food.
I just went in there tonight with my fiancé, and I was blown away by the staff that helped us. I wish I would have gotten the young man’s name, but he really went above and beyond for me. I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, so I can’t have any gluten. I went in and asked him to just change his gloves and told him about my gluten issue, and he ended up changing out the utensils in everything that I wanted for my bowl, wiped the counter down and then thoroughly washed and sanitized his hands and arms before putting on new gloves to make my food. I have a lot of anxiety about going out to eat because a lot of restaurants don’t take celiac disease seriously, but they did. I am really grateful and will definitely be back because of this.
This was the first time I went there. The food was good, but seemed blander than other Mexican restaurants, but maybe that's more authentic. I had the combo dinner with one beef enchilada and one chicken taco, which came with rice and beans. The food was very good quality and fresh tasting, especially the chicken, which was the freshest I have ever had (seemed freshly shredded off the bone). I was just a bit disappointed that it wasn't served with guacamole and sour cream, like many places do, but it was still delicious. The chips and salsa were average, again, they seemed bland. I was very impressed by their great service. Since we're allergic to wheat/gluten, we have to ask a lot of questions before even eating the chips. The waiter had broken English, but reassured us that there was no chicken base with wheat in the rice or beans. He managed to communicate to us that they use FRESH chicken in it, which is uncommon... most places use a chicken base/paste that contains wheat. After he put our order in, to our surprise, a manager showed up at our table to confirm everything he just said -- This was SOOO impressive and important to us and I truly thank them for this, because it put us more at ease! Prices were reasonable too.
Great vibe, great service, but most importantly, GREAT coffee! Great party case, Only constructive feedback is considering one or two baked goods that are gluten free.
Calm place to drink coffee and eat some good food. Was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and there are alot of gluten free options here! Highly reccomend!
I met my husband, Marlowe, for lunch today at Sidelines. I arrived early to order the GF pizza we planned to have on his 30-minute lunch break. The waitress and cook arrived at our table just before Marlowe arrived to let me know that the pizza I just received was not on a gluten free crust and would need to be remade. They apologized profusely and said that our tab would be taken care of! We were brought chips and salsa for us to munch on while our pizza was made and they made two pizzas for us instead of one! What amazing customer service!!!

Extreme disappointment! We haven’t been to Janesville and Noodles for quite a while and thought we would stop in for a quick bite to eat.
The food was bad and poorly prepared. The food was served in what looked like TV dinner trays with plastic utensils! I had the buffalo chicken mac & cheese, and my bowl was filled halfway with some kind of cheese sauce that tasted horrible! I’m not sure I even got the gluten-free noodles that I ordered.🤨
The restaurant was filthy and needs a good scrub down. The last rice crispy left at the front cash register looked like it had been manhandled all day. When I asked for a fresh one, it was a big deal that needed corporate approval to get a fresh one. I very rarely will write a review, but for the money go to Chick-Fil-a instead!!
I have celiacs and was able to eat here without any issues. I had the Chicken Bacon Cheddar sandwich on 2 very tasty slices of perfectly toasted gluten free bread. It was a very good sandwich. I was told they can make almost any sandwich gf. They offer fries, pub chips and cheese curds. Unfortunately not for Celiac's . But they did have a wide variety of bag chips. My friend had the Chicken Shawarma. She said her wrap was also delicious. We will definitely visit there again.
They have a gluten-free option, which is always a plus. Menu has lots of tasty options such as sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and quesadillas. My one complaint was that the waitress did not write down our order. I have a couple of food allergies, so I asked for some changes. I knew food was going to come out wrong, and sure enough, it did. They were great about getting a fresh one out and didn't charge me. A pet peeve of mine is when they don't write down your order. Food was tasty. Looks like a fun place.
First time experience- We chose to celebrate my daughter’s 22nd birthday here because of the awesome options they have for gluten-free crusts and dairy-free cheese. This store is super cute and clean!
Everyone got their own mini-sized pizza with their choice of toppings. The service team looked pretty busy, but they got our pizzas done in a decent amount of time. (Plan to wait a little bit.)
The most disappointing part was the long blond hair I found in my second piece. I guess the service team isn’t required to hair net, just wear a hat. 🤢 They kindly made me a new pizza, but I might look for other options before going back.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food is good and while the menu is not extensive it is diverse enough that anybody should find something appealing to eat. Our party requires vegetarian and gluten free options and the chef and servers have been happy to meet our needs. When the weather allows there is a pleasant outdoor dining area with a scenic view of the Rock River and adjoining downtown Janesville.
En route to a family reunion, I asked my daughter to search for a local coffee shop somewhere off the interstate. Far from both our starting point and destination, we ended up in downtown Janesville, WI, at an adorable location that served as a reminder of WHY I adore local coffee shops.
Super charming, friendly staff, a delicious hot coconut milk latte and a freshly made gluten-free scone. I wished we would have had time to sit and savor the views from the covered rear patio. Either there or inside the historic building would have been perfect places to wile away hours with a laptop or book.
Alas, an ideal respite during our lengthy road trip.

Gluten-free options!! We had a great experience. The waitress Tina was so upbeat and wonderful. She definitely was genuine and wonderful. The food was excellent. They were very accommodating of my food allergies. Highly recommend 👌
