This place was great. I got the traditional breakfast with eggs sunny side up and a stack of gluten free pancakes. These were the best fried eggs I have ever had bar none. They were perfectly cooked. Bacon was cooked evenly and was crispy. The gluten free pancakes were as close to the real thing as I've ever gotten. They were super delicious and the texture was nice. 10/10, would recommend. I don't know when I will be back in Arizona, but I will definitely stop here again if I ever am.

Happy with food and service. I'm mistakenly forgot to ask for gluten-free granola, and they were quick to kindly obliged. Food is fresh, healthy, and good. Prices are reasonable. Pictured is a chia seed putting with fruit, and the green curry tofu bowl with added chicken.

So pleasant from start to finish. We walked in after lunch and before dinner, and were welcomed graciously. The atmosphere is cozy and the decor transports you away. So many beautiful Ethiopian touches- cool carved wood backed chairs and huge straw woven baskets— so nice! We ordered samosas, the vegetarian sampler for four and gluten free injera, the layered fruit drink (yum!), carrot cake, and coffee. All delicious. The gentleman who helped us was the owner and so attentive, his son also served the food. I love to support family business! The coffee is roasted on site and the subtle cardamom and other spices made it an experience. I’ve been wanting that coffee ever since! Sorry this pic of the sampler is AFTER we destroyed it, but gives you an idea of the size anyway. 😊

This was my first visit to Copper Star Coffee and I think they won my loyalty. They have great customer service, great coffee, and great desserts. I explained that this was my first visit and asked which coffees they recommend. The person taking my order recommended some things that I didn't see on the menu, and I chose one that starts with a 'C'... I wish I could remember what it was because it was so incredibly delicious. I ordered it with half sugar and oat milk. As soon as I tasted it, I wished I had ordered a large. The guy at the register also gave me a free pastry item because it was my first time. They have vegan and gluten free options available. Everything looked so good; it was hard to decide. I ended up with a brownie, which was delicious.
