We had an outside table, the food, the weather, the drinks were fabulous! We were enjoying everything so much we forgot to take before photos! So many gluten free options! We will be back!
Found this little cafe on Christmas Eve and we're glad we did. Went for breakfast. The food was very fresh and tasted great. Coffee was also very nice. Plenty of gluten free options so everyone is covered. Service was fast and attentive.
Tocaya Organica is such a special weekly tradition! Their tacos are healthy and hearty. And a great value on Tuesday ranging from $2.50-$4.00. Lots of options for every dietary need. They have a ton of gluten-free options, including the delicious churro waffles. Thank you to Juliet for always making our family feel so welcome!
Pro Tips:
- Request your receipt as there are sometimes food errors…give them grace as Tuesday’s are busy!
- Prepare to wait a bit for your meal to arrive
- Parking can be tough in the area, so plan ahead
This is a long time favorite of mine .. their Spanish latte... Sooooo good .. especially the strong version... Their food is ok... They run out of healthier options pretty early, even at 9.30am, such as breakfast burrito gluten free tortillas... So go there early if you need or prefer certain options...
A chill place to get quick and cheap Caribbean takeout food. There is no alcohol and lots of gluten free and vegetarian options! Very delicious. As a starter, try the nachos with bean paste… hmmm!

Great gluten free options from bread on sandwiches to gf pancakes, the staff was educated and informed about gf. Bread was great and pancakes were so good!!
Incredible breakfast experience. Fun atmosphere, ordervat the countercand they bring the food out to you.
Our food was fantastic and came out quickly. Nice gluten free bread option which is in my pictures.
Coffee was outstanding and the carrot juice was the perfect blend of ingredients.
I am from Nebraska here visiting friends. This was their first time there and we all agree it was a great experience and would go back again.
Not sure about older low star reviews maybe they did what any good business should do and make improvements basd on feedback. This is my third day in a row coming here and the food is delicious (I had 2 different breakfast burritos and some pastries which they offer in gluten free versions) service is timely and staff is friendly. Environment was good with clean tables and atmosphere. The only complaint I have which is minor is when places don’t mix the lattes. Very easy and simple improvement which I am sure they will make based on other improvements I gave noted since previous reviews. Id definitely recommend!
The most amazing bread outside of Europe! If you love eating real and healthy bread, come here. They are using Italian flour to make their dough and you can taste the quality! My friend who is allergic to gluten, can eat their country loaf. A must try!!
We’re visiting from Maryland and stopped for lunch today. Our server, Lucas, was great and helpful in pointing out the gluten-free choices. Our whole family enjoyed their meal and would highly recommend!
I've wanted to eat here for a long time and it was worth the wait! It's a really fun place to enjoy outdoor brunch on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica. They have a few gluten-free and vegan options. It's quite tiny, so expect to wait for the restroom as there is only one.
Went to Caffe Delfini for dinner with my friend who was in town visiting. I am celiac so was happy to find out there was a lot of gluten free options on the menu and the staff was very accommodating to ensure I had a great meal and experience! We got the beet salad as a starter and split pesto pasta and carbonara as our mains, everything was absolutely delicious and the staff was so kind! We chose not to get dessert but they brought over gluten free cookies complementary with our check and they were really good! Overall would come back to Caffe Delfini!
My daughter and I stopped by this place while we were killing time before the Barbie movie began, so we decided this was the spot to sit down and eat dinner. Good decision as the quesadilla and the tacos were really good. I ordered the gluten-free quesadilla and I wish I could have brought the tortilla shell that he used home because that was the best taco shell ever. And I mean ever. Better than gluten, even!
The customer service was great, and I don't even know how he did it by himself with all those people in there, but he somehow remained attentive to our table as well.
My only complaint is that I wish they weren't so shy with the seasonings, but at least we had the two choices of sauces to fill in the gaps.
Ok this place has amazing food!! Their portion sizes are excellent and everything is super fresh organic and farm-to-table. They use this amazing seeded bread from a nearby bakery and local pasture-raised eggs that are bright orange.
Go for the Niçoise salad for a tasty classic.
Also the avocado mousse dessert is a great gluten-free option and to die for! The outside seating is lovely. A great lunch spot for sure.
Great experience at Patrick's Roadhouse. It is a very laid back restaurant with fun, very unique decor.
We sat outside, there were heaters but it was pleasant out so they turned them off for us.
My friend had gluten free pancakes and I had the breakfast burrito with no meat along with a slice of pie. We did wait a while for the food but it was worth it. Prices are perhaps a little high but the food is worth it.
Massilia is a French restaurant nestled in Santa Monica near third street promenade, featuring a cozy interior and an intimate patio.
Our group ordered the steak frites and lamb shank and both were quite delicious. Unlike most steak frites, the steak was thicker and you were able to select the temperature as well. The fries were perfectly crispy and deliciously seasoned. You have the option to get a chimichurri or bearnaise sauce, both of which are excellent options.
The lamb shank is a gluten free meal and was so soft it pulled right off to the bone!
In terms of cocktails, La Française was a clear winner. Anything with St. Germain is an obvious choice.
Our server was very friendly, also French, and such a delight throughout the meal service.
I definitely recommend dining here for modestly priced options with great ambiance.

Vito strikes again!! I've been to both Mother Wolf and Felix in the past month, and can confidently say that Vito has BETTER pasta than both these places! I didn't even know it was possible to make gnocchi with as light and pillowy a texture as Vito does, and the pesto sauce is the creamiest and most delectable that's ever graced these tastebuds. The wait staff is incredibly friendly and fits right in with the cozy Italian atmosphere (though it can get a little loud in the main dining room). Vito himself also assured me that the entire menu is keto and gluten friendly-- I don't know how they do it! Anyone looking for a 5 star classic Italian meal must come here.
The Brussels sprouts were so flavorful it set me up for a huge disappointment when my entree came. The halibut was the most flavorless dish I’ve had in a while. I didn’t detect one spice, not even salt or pepper. It was a real disappointment. The service and atmosphere were good though, the temperature notwithstanding (it was quite chilly in the restaurant), and they were good about food sensitivities with gluten free and other options noted on the menu.
First, the ramen itself- the broth was creamy, the noodles were excellent, the meat was tender and delicious, and the egg was cooked to perfection. They offer a variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options for noodles, broth and toppings, while keeping their basic dish pretty authentic.
Everything else from the laid back atmosphere to the excellent service is icing on the cake!
Lunetta is hard to define as it is a nice place for lunch with a diverse menu and indoor outdoor areas (with a wonderful patio), as well as a very romantic place at night with a speak easy vibe and last but not least a to/go service available. Food wise the menu offers some revisited classic like their mussels or their burger. Personally I really enjoyed their chopped salad and the flourless caked - gluten-free friendly but also a great taste and texture. The wine list is also interesting as I had the opportunity to taste a Merlot from Mexico (and it rhymes!).
Service was good even at peak.
Got take out vegan sushi. We tried several rolls and the salad and loved them. Items were labeled gluten free clearly on menu. Great service. Would love to go back and try some other rolls. So many options for vegan.
We had a great experience at Art's Table yesterday afternoon for MLK day brunch. We don't live in the area and were searching for a brunch spot near where we were, and this place came up on the what felt like hidden local gem of the street Montana, which felt like the antithesis to what one might experience on Third Street.
Thanks to Yelp reservations we were seated right away inside, when every other table inside and outside was occupied.
Let's start with the coffee; I've said many times if a brunch/breakfast place doesn't have good coffee it has no business being in business. Art knows what he's doing with his coffee. It's richly dark and bold in taste, with no acidity and served in delightful ceramic owl mugs that are exactly what they seem… It would be worth coming to Art's just to get a cup of coffee.
The only caveat with the coffee is that a cup costs $4. I've seen premium pricing for coffee when they bring you a French Press but this, despite how good it was, seemed pricy for a basic cup of coffee.
There are plenty of gluten-free options on the breakfast menu including Johnny cakes, a cornmeal-based pancake that looked amazing (though we didn't have it.) And the dish my wife and I both got a version of , The veggie eggs, which is served with gluten-free potato pancakes topped with greens delicious portobello mushrooms that are perfectly cooked, and two poached eggs, topped with a wonderfully spiced bernadine sauce. The eggs were poached perfectly. The potato pancakes (and to be fair to all concerned if a restaurant that I've never been to before has potato pancakes on the menu that's all my body will allow me to order) were a little thin for my taste, but speaking of taste, they tasted pretty good albeit a little greasy, but considering the very nature of potato pancakes it's hard to complain about there being oil involved. In our "eye-vesdropping" that we did of other dishes walking by it seems there were other options which had more substantial potatoes and, again, potatoes of any kind will draw me closer to your heart.
The dish was served with a generous salad that was tasty though in terms of volume, but visually overpowered the rest of the dish.
We would definitely come back to Art's Table and try some of the other tantalizing things that we saw walking by (to be clear they were being carried by serving staff and not walking by under their own power.) The only thing which was a slight downer was our super friendly and cool waiter who seemed to really know what he was doing when he took our order and greeted us, but then never spoke to us again until after we finished eating and wanted to know if we were ready for the check. Again he was awfully nice but you kind of expect, or at least hope that a server will check in with you after you've received your food just to make sure that everything was OK. Everything was OK so we would've had nothing to complain about but it would have been nice to have seen him again before it was time to get the check.
The gentleman that serviced us was very nice. I told him I was allergic to gluten and he was able to recommend the avocado toast. That's what I really wanted, but I didn't think they had gotten free bread. They did! 🤭🥹
This is a cute little place with a vibe. I highly recommend it.
They have a bathroom for customers. OMG they even have a doggy treat and water for our four legged friends. 🐕
Really fun and lively brunch/lunch spot. If you want a quiet little corner, try outside when it's nice. Inside has a lot of fun energy, and maybe a couple rounds of Happy Birthday. I appreciate the gluten free bread option. Everything I've tried is flavorful and creative.
A place that I highly recommend to anyone who is in Los Angeles (Santa Monica). Cozy sophisticated environment; we had lunch, the quality of the food was excellent according to the best Apulian culinary tradition, the gluten free food was also much appreciated (for those with celiac disease problems). Thanks to Valentina and her staff for giving us an unforgettable experience. 🙏🍀
