The pizza is amazing and delicious. They have their own dedicated allergy prep station for the gluten free pizzas. However, it must have still had some cross contact because I woke up sick and symptomatic. Usually if it is a lot of cross contact I get immediate symptoms but I lasted until the morning until I felt symptoms so keep in mind it is still a possibility. Definitely delicious food though
I went there after I dropped my bags at the hotel nearby. Starving after the long flight. So awesome to find an anti-inflammatory restaurant that had so much I could choose from. I had their yummy turkey burger that swapped out lettuce for the bread and a sweet potato hash. With a side of an amazing Kale, cucumber ginger, fresh green drink, and I got a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie to go. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and the manager went above and beyond, helping me out with something. Can’t say enough a good things about this place I’ll be back. I’m in town for a week. This will be my go to Place.
Beautiful outdoor space where pets are welcome. Aperol spritz was amazing 👏🏽 gluten-free pizza was as good as the standard crust. Just an overall great vibe for a Friday afternoon.
This is literally the best gluten-free pizza in Atlanta! The gluten-free pizza crust looked like regular crust the first time I had it and i made the server double check for me. I couldn’t believe my eyes and that it was actually gluten-free! It’s so fluffy and tastes like real bread. They even have their own housemade vegan cheese (made from tofu) so it’s a great spot if you’re lactose-intolerant or vegan too!
Service is hit or miss-had our order messed up on a couple occasions but the gluten-free pizza is so worth it!
Great place for yummy, efficient pizza! They offer gluten free pizza crust which is good ($5.99 upchsrge) and vegan cheese!! I like how you can choose up to 8 toppings for no additional cost. Friendly service delivered with a smile. And my favorite part is they offer a rewards program - after so many points, you get free stuff!! They also offer various deals during the week (ex Thursdays draft beer is $3.14! Wednesdays $2 bottles; Tuesday has extra points, etc.) highly recommend!!
Was so excited because I seen reviews of gluten free noodles available. Yes gluten free noodles but no Gluten free Ramen options wtf is the point then? 50min drive for nothing. My feelings are hurt 😩
The menu of this restaurant is deceptive. If you have celiac, you cannot eat many of the items marked as gluten free, as they do not have a dedicated fryer. So, basically, it’s “gluten free” but not really. And, rather than source tortilla chips from another business that is gluten free, they fry everything together. Also, they ran out of mushrooms for the Bistec de Palomilla, so I guess you need to arrive very early for dinner. It was a disappointing evening, even though the food we were able to have was good.
I hate to write this review because I usually enjoy Tassilis. Lately the experience has been everything but great. They now have the wrap station blocked off. The new staff is literally making up rules as they go.
I was told I couldn’t swap the couscous or pad Thai noodles just pay full price. I swap them because of my gluten allergy. The energy is just off. Nothing seems genuine or made with love anymore.
Had Mother’s Day brunch here. It was lovely. Service and food were great.
The furnishings were a bit tired but that was the only negative.
They have gluten free pasta options.
As someone with several food allergies—especially gluten—dining out can often feel like an exercise in compromise. Usually, I’m limited to one or two options on a menu, if that. But Burtons Grill & Bar completely turned that experience on its head.
From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and accommodated. Their gluten-free menu wasn’t just an afterthought—it was extensive, thoughtfully crafted, and genuinely exciting. In fact, the options were so tempting that my dining companion, who doesn’t have any dietary restrictions, chose to order from the gluten-free menu too—and she absolutely loved it.
Our server Brittany was an absolute delight—attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. The manager on duty also went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless and special.
We ordered the steak frites and the chicken Milanese Alfredo—both dishes were executed perfectly and full of flavor. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we were treated to a complimentary slice of their seven-layer chocolate cake, which (yes!) was gluten-free and absolutely scrumptious.
If you’re looking for a place that offers elegance, excellent service, and truly inclusive menu options, Burtons is a must-visit. I’m already planning to return—and next time, I’m bringing friends and family with me!
There is a really kind buff dude with a long pony tail of dreadlocks that has been super awesome about greeting us both times my husband and I ate here. The gluten free pancakes are some of the best pancakes I've ever ate. Gluten or not. Jalapeno omelet, amazing. Benedicts on point. The buff guy with the dreads makes better drinks than the lady did, but this place is a new favorite for me when visiting Atlanta
WOW this place is a little tucked away but so amazing. Entirely gluten free kitchen and attentive staff! Shout out to Adrianna and Noelle. We had a wonderful lunch with generous portions of guac, queso, and salsa and super flavorful tacos a la carte! Thank you for being open on the 4th of July!
We eat here about once a month, and I absolutely LOVE enjoying the Pork Belly Tacos with a Hazy IPA on the outdoor patio with some fantastic weather.
My partner is both Gluten Free (Celiac) and vegetarian, and she’s never had tummy problems after eating here. There aren’t a ton of taco options for her to choose, but she REALLY enjoys the fried plantains & street corn. Then there’s usually 2-3 taco options as well.
I love this place the food is fresh and delicious and it’s a nice vibe. The mac n cheese is gluten free but somehow still amazing. They have unique vegetable sides to choose from.
I’d recommend getting the entree plus sides. That’s what I always get but I’ve been with other people before who have gotten salads or wraps and they’ve always been small.
beautiful patio, great food, wonderful service. the best gluten free pizza i’ve had in atlanta. Harrison was very knowledgeable and accommodating for our dietary restrictions.
This is a jewel in downtown Atlanta. The pizza is GREAT! My wife is gluten free and the GF pizza was really good too, even one of the best GF pizzas we have ever had! Thanks Max’s
Snooze is like a modern-day dinner. They play fun music and have colorful decor! Unlike most diners that serve bland food, Snooze service delicious eggs Benedicts and unique pancake flavors. As an added bonus, they offer all their pancakes as gluten-free options. My favorite pancake is the cinnamon roll gluten-free.
The only reason I couldn't give Snooze a 5 star is because there was a hair on my pancake the last time I went. But I've been several times to this location and the original one in buckhead and never had a problem, so I think it was just an off day. We will definitely go back.
Had a great first experience here!! I am celiac and they were able to accommodate! The staff was super helpful and extremely friendly! Elijah was awesome at the bar and made killer mocktails for me! Will be back!
TLDR: This place is unsafe if you have food allergies or health issues that are affected by food. When we pointed out what had happened, they were apathetic. Only our waitress seemed sorry, but not enough to adjust the bill without being asked.
I had a meal here with a friend during DragonCon. I ordered two items plainly marked as “GF” on the sushi menu. One, specifically the Rainbow Roll, said it contained crab meat. Excellent, I thought. Only after I started eating did I realize it contained crab sticks. Firstly, crab sticks are not crab. They are usually made of whitefish, eggs, wheat, and spices/flavorings. A particular brand now makes gluten-free crab sticks, but those contain potato starch, which I also can’t eat.
I asked two servers to clarify with the chef. The second eventually returned and said she was very sorry, but that roll wasn’t gluten-free. I took the last bite of the roll that I knew was gluten-free and started to mentally prepare myself for the physical pain and discomfort that would ensue. After my friend finished her meal, we asked for our bill, and when we got it, both rolls I had ordered were still on the bill. They had completely disregarded the fact that they had just poisoned me with gluten. If your restaurant mislabels food that will make someone sick, at the very least you shouldn’t charge them for that item. If you want to practice good customer service, their meal should be on the house, accompanied by a GIANT apology from management.
I was flabbergasted, and at that point, I said I didn’t want to pay for my meal. The server returned shortly with the items removed, and I said I’d like to speak with management to explain the importance of getting this right. At the very least, they should immediately start telling people that the Rainbow Roll is not gluten-free. The manager returned, apparently thinking we were trying to get out of paying for our whole meal. He yelled at us. He also said they had been serving this roll as gluten-free for 20 years with no problem. 20 YEARS. We tried to explain why we wanted to talk to him, but he was so agitated that my friend had to force him to take the billfold with her credit card. We never got to have our one-on-one teachable moment with him, so unfortunately, he gets to have it here where everyone can read it.
People are gluten-free for many reasons—some out of preference, but most of us have severe health issues. People with Celiac Disease are more likely to develop colon cancer the more gluten they consume over their lifetime, knowingly or not, even if it doesn’t make them physically ill at the time. CANCER. I have chronic pain. I will spend the next week or two in extra, all-day pain and discomfort because of those two bites of crab stick.
There’s a social contract between restaurants and their diners. They broke the contract. Do not eat here.
Returning customer. Gluten free menu for breakfast , brunch, and dinner is a huge plus! Add to that the selections and the delicious tasting food. They even have gluten free bread while others dining get regular bread. Thank you so much for offering gluten free.
I ordered the gluten free Bourbon Pancakes and these were the BEST gluten free pancakes I've had at a restaurant ever. The pancakes also came with eggs and bacon which is unusual and greatly appreciated. My husband had the Blackrock Benedict which came with cheese grits and was also amazing. The service was excellent and Chantay was very attentive, polite and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this place. They know how to do breakfast!! You will not be disappointed.
Mary and other team member was so kind and welcoming. It warmed my heart. I have enjoyed being here. They gave gluten free cracker for those who are GF.
I had the best Mellow Mushroom experience tonight! Not only did my server take extra care to be sure my food order was safe to eat (I have a wheat gluten allergy), but the manager Alex came out to talk to me also! And, the best part is, Alex took the time to make my pizza himself to ensure my safety. Incredible service!! Give Alex a raise! I'll be back because of him.

Everything about our experience was perfect. Blake was a most excellent server and he renewed my faith in dining out. I felt especially accommodated as a gluten-free person---it has not been an easy diagnosis to navigate, and I felt 100% included in the menu options. Consider ordering family style so you can try everything! Oh, and the cocktails were easily the best I can recall having.
Busy for a good reason!
Went for my husband’s birthday breakfast and it did NOT disappoint. We started with a chai latte and a cappuccino. The chai could’ve been stronger in spice but still good and the cappuccino was smooth and frothy. Starter- I’m gluten-free and I was surprised to find out they offer a mini banana bread. It was slightly broiled so the banana had a caramelized sweetness to it, with a chocolate drizzle and hazelnuts. It was nice having another option when I couldn’t eat the biscuit.
Main- we chose the shrimp & grits and the chicken biscuit.
Shrimp & grits were the best I’ve ever had! Perfect ratios and plenty of smoked bacon pieces on top with roasted tomatoes and bell peppers. I don’t know what the sauce was of but I could smother it on just about anything! Creamy, salty, cheesy and perfect texture from the shrimp.
The chicken biscuit fillet was the size of both foster combined, so definitely worth the price. Crunchy, salty breading and the chicken was SO juicy. Biscuits were a perfect crumbly, fluffy and buttery texture. The red pepper jam was sweet and perfectly spicy. We are HOOKED and will be back again and again!
Just had an amazing, fresh and tasty lunch. The bruschetta options were numerous and gluten-free bread was available so everyone in our party could share. Kacey and the other servers were friendly and attentive. the chopped brussel sprouts salad was exceptional.
The lavender biscuit is a must have! I don’t eat gluten but when I’m anywhere near Sun in my belly I’m getting that lavender biscuit with that homemade jelly that just knocks your socks off! All of their food is delicious but I’m telling you there’s something about that lavender biscuit!
This place is the best for takeout. They offer a variety of delicious real food options, with a mini curated hot bar concept where everything is perfectly combined in a bowl. There are plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free choices available. It's a fantastic option for a quick dinner, serving as a great alternative to typical fast food or restaurant takeout.
Cute, cozy, modern cottage core vibes! Food is delicious and worked well with my dietary restrictions. I had the avocado toast on gluten free bread. GF bread can be tricky but this was soft and delicious. Highly recommend for vegan/vegetarian/gluten free folks!
EVERYTHING was delicious! The Caesar salad was fresh and full of flavor and some of the BEST gluten free pizza I have EVER had! Husband enjoyed the chicken parm sandwich and fries. Will definitely be ordering again soon! So delicious it deserves an “Emmy” 🏆 (see what I did there!? lol)
This Coffee Shop is like Family and a staple in our neighborhood. They don’t have in store dining right now because they are super safe during Covid. They do have some outdoor seating. On a normal day, they have a large seating area separate from the order area.
The shop has a a couple menus of food and drinks options. Food includes; fresh deli style sandwiches and wraps, with salad options (chicken salad is delish!) also included are very substantial and home made pastries, sweets and breads, with gluten free options available as well. Breakfast is my favorite, and the egg scramble with chicken sausage is excellently, spicy and fresh, add a sides of creamy cheesy grits (weekend only for the grits)! Yummy smoothies and a variety of coffee drinks and that hit the spot! Almost forgot... Ice Cream!! Delicious unique flavors and the classics, always pleasing my children (and myself) on a hot day! Who am I kidding any day! Thank you Grant Park Coffeehouse, we love you!
What I love about this place is it's not like any other sandwich shop, they've captured the almost dive bar vibe/specialty eatery very well. Some might call it hipster and maybe they are right but it works and they make amazing sandwiches so more power to them. The outdoor seating area is perfect for a sunny day or a fun night out and their indoor area is also well equipped. Great for families too! We ordered the Beast on yeast (gluten free bread) the Tea bird and Little Havana. They hit the spot! 10/10 would recommend.
Good healthy food and friendly staff. They have a number of gluten free options clearly marked if you need GF food. They have GF wraps and I was also told that more of the salads could be made gluten free as well. I had the Chicken Pesto Wrap with GF wrap and it was very good. They noted my allergy on the order and seemed very careful about the preparation. Highly recommended for a healthy meal and a great option for gluten free.
First off, I eat at PF Chang’s a lot all over the country. I like the food and a member of my household has celiac disease, so this is one of the places that does it well. We got to the restaurant between noon and 1pm…so peak hours for lunch in a business area. There were only people at three of the tables and yet it took 5-10 minutes for a person to even come to the front to see if we wanted a table. If there had been another option I would have just left.
When we got our food, it was good, but the portion of the adult entree was absurdly small. So small that the waitress even stated after I asked if this was the entree portion that she had asked the chef and he had said yes. The portion was a good bit smaller than the food another person got FROM THE KIDS MENU. I asked and they said there was nothing they could do. The food was yummy and I would give it a normal five stars, but the absurdly small portion size and lack of willingness to do anything about it is the main reason for this review. The service was at the level where it felt like they really didn’t want you there and that you were bothering them. Bottom line, while I was excited another PF Chang’s had opened near the mall, I will never go to this location again. I would advise avoiding it and going to one of the several other Atlanta locations.
