The busiest bakery on the 4th of July.
Holy moly, was not expecting to see a line near out the door on the holiday weekend. But of course, such a line, must mean the quality is above and beyond impressive! Right?
Well looks-wise they certainly were. The names were hilarious, with things like millionaire tears, CE O-no!, and Trickledown. (I'm guessing they're not a fan of the current corporate climate) However, while funny, the names really didn't say what the favors were. Most of the nameplates did not describe it, they had no menu I could find inside that did, and because of how busy they were I did not want to be "that guy" and hold up the line asking about each one.
So I got a half dozen, feeling that would be a safe bet I'd find something among the ones I pick to enjoy. Of course not all of the doughnuts had silly names, which helped me pick them out, like Cinnamon bun, French toast, Strawberry frosted, etc. I even picked one of the gluten free ones, the red and blue frosted, which had a berry-like smell. All together coming to around $27, a fair but more than DD's, but hey, these were artisanal so fairs fair.
Back home I tried a wedge of each one, just to sample them and find my favorite. The French toast and cinnamon bun honestly tasted the same, super sugary, very thick with frosting, and a hefty cinnamon flavor. The strawberry was far lighter, but too much so, with a frosting that was more like a glaze. Could barely taste the fruity flavor I sought. Cinnamon sugar was nice, very thick, lots of even coverage, but the dough was so lacking in flavor that it really stuck out due to just how big the thing is. The trickledown, which is suppose to come with a shot of espresso, and I was offered one, but did not think the shot would fair well in a bready confectionary on my drive home so I declined. It was by far the most interesting, with a kind of custard interior that I imagine the espresso is poured into and slowly soaks through. The whipped topping was also nice, being real whipped cream and not more frosting. Sadly, things went sour real fast with the berry blast having a consistency of sand and a flavor of artificial fruit I could not get past. And I know it's not because it was gluten free, I've had good GF free baked goods before, this, was not it.
Overall, the experience was pleasant. The wait in line built up my anticipation, the choices were varied, and my favorite one wasn't even in a completed state. (the Trickledown) That said, just one of these bad boys really would be an entire dessert meal in and of itself. Sampling all 6, well, I'm off to enter a carb coma.

I have eaten several times at City Line and I also am gluten free. I have always had Wonderful service, great tasting food, make any accommodations needed, and comfortably priced!
We always order ahead usually because prep can take a while. We love the bowls and waffles and that everything is gluten free. I have tried the new sandwiches and they are delicious!!
I would say gluten friendly, not gluten free. I have celiac disease and we have eaten here twice. First experience was good! Today’s visit was unfortunate.
I spoke to the staff about my food allergy, they seemed confident, and my food came out with the little allergen stick which made me feel extremely comfortable. Within minutes of eating (my delicious food) I was sick and in their bathroom for 44 minutes until I was good enough to make it home and be ill at home. I spoke to a staff member on my way out so they were aware and they were extremely kind about the situation.
If you choose to be gluten free or have no food allergies, great place and delicious food! Otherwise, be aware they are not able to accommodate allergies fully. Unfortunately, my family will not be back due to me getting glutened and being ill.
I visited this place for the first time while I was running errands and needed to stop for food. Since being gluten free (intolerance not an allergy), I'm always looking for a good gluten free pizza, their website said they had it so I stopped in. Their display of pizzas ready to go was amazing and made me miss my gluten-full days immensely! Their gluten free pizzas need to be ordered as a full pie (6 cut is their smallest) and are cooked fresh with any toppings. About 15 minutes later I had my pie and it was awesome!!! Unfortunately, it does not make good left overs, which is the case with every gluten free pizza I've tried so I did not hold it against them in this review. I do not know if they have a separate oven for their gluten free pizzas, so there may be cross contamination for those with severe sensitivity. Hope this helps!
A friend had Mission BBQ cater our party today. When we picked up the food and brought it home, we had noticed a missing item. We called them up to let them know and they were so nice and accomidating. They asked how long it would take us to return to the restaurant and had it prepped in about 10-15 min. They even provided a dessert tray and a $25 off card for the inconvenience which was truly unnecessary. This place and their staff are just absolutely lovely, so welcoming, and great with allergens! We are a big group of celiacs and had plenty of food options. I hope they get more established and stay for years to come.
I’ve been here a few times, once we sat at a table, another time at the bar, and another time in the lounge for a birthday gathering. Everytime was equally amazing! The service is great, everyone is very attentive.
The food this AMAZING!! As someone with a gluten allergy it can be super challenging to find good food and be confident that I won’t be sick. This place is great so sooo reassuring! They have so many options and are soo knowledgeable.
My husband and I so love Swiftys. We enjoy eating there every time we travel to Delmar.
I love that they have gluten free bread and rolls. Salads and sandwiches are large and delicious. Their house made French fries are so addicting!

Overall Impression:
Margarita City Mexican Grill & Bar provides a lively dining experience with a varied menu and an extensive selection of margaritas. While many guests enjoy the flavorful food and ambiance
Really happy I did not read the reviews ahead of time. This place was great. I was blown away by the amount of options that are gluten free. I had to try the gluten free mac and cheese and wow it did not disappoint. Also tried the tofu and quinoa bowl, the carrot chili vinagrette was so good! The service was top notch, and they even threw in a lemonade, I tried the habiscus lemonade which was not too sweet, just perfect. Highly recommend.
this place made my celiacs stomach happy. owner was very knowledgeable in how he prepped his meals for gluten free foods and it tasted amazing. the pad thai was citrus, tangy and a hint sweet and heat that really made my day.
hubby got the kung pao, and he ate the whole plate no comments which means he really liked it too.
I was really hyped about Moliendo Café because I had heard such great things. I don’t wanna complain about everything but overall we were just not very impressed. The owner greeted us off the start and was excellent, but from there the service went down as our waiter was absent quite a bit and forgot more than one of our orders. The food was pretty good. But not what I had expected from the hype. Good atmosphere tho. Overall I had a good experience. The margaritas are Very good tho! I do look forward to returning as maybe it was an “off day” which is understandable. Very traditional food that can be made gluten free and that’s hard to find. All in all I was happy with Moliendo Café.
Celebrated my engagement here and had such an incredible experience. Huge thank you to Mark for making the night so magical for us! He was incredibly attentive to my need for gluten free food and allowed us to pace out the evening slowly.
Its nice to have such a wonderful restaurant near by dedicated to excellent service and delicious food!
We haven't been here in about 2 years or so. Somehow, they seemed to have lost their vibe. Maybe it's because Mark Graydon always seemed to be there tending bar when we stopped in. My wife liked a gluten free beer that they had, and Mark always remembered even though we only stopped in every month or so. I do like the new system for ordering food. The quality of food was very good though.
We hired dc catering for our daughters wedding last weekend and everyone raved about the food. He did some gluten free dishes for us as well and they were great. They have lots of options to choose from and we highly recommend them. Matt even called after the wedding to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Great customer service!
We have a graduation coming up and will be using their service again soon.

I've been to the newly opened Washington Tavern three times now and have had a great experience every time! The cocktails were great, tons of beers on tap, and the food was SO good! They were also extremely accommodating of our dietary restrictions, including gluten free, dairy free, and soy free. The service was friendly and attentive, the vibe is great, and I'm already planning to go back!
Great restaurant for the family! I have celiac and they were very accommodating. I had the lettuce wrapped burger which was prepared in a separate area along with there awesome fries. Win win for our family of five who does not eat out often due to my dietary needs. Thank you Five Guys.
Service was phenomenal, our server did a fantastic job for our large party of 10. The food was delicious. I wish they also had gluten-free bread available when they brought bread and butter to the table for everyone. I was unable to enjoy any, and it smelled so good!
The atmosphere was pretty good. But...our table was directly next to the kitchen area and where they stacked all their dishes. So, each time any waitstaff went in/out of the kitchen or dropped off dishes, it was loud and it became difficult to hear others speaking at our table. Overall though, it was a good night.
This is a fun place with a retro vibe inside. There are lots of vegan options and if you are gluten free you can have the fries. The vegan burger is really good. I recommend the caramelized onion on everything!
Ama Cocina is back open after having closed down during the pandemic. The food and atmosphere are the same as before offering delicious Mexican dishes in a fun environment. Gluten free corn taco are available but no separate fryer for nachos.
Good place for a nice place to grab brunch and coffee
Nice food choices, easy vegetarian and gluten free friendly options
And even my little one loves the waffles
Stopped in on our way through Albany and were not disappointed! Everything we tried (clam chowder, tempura cauliflower, and lobster rolls) was amazing!! Gluten free bread option too. Service was a little slow for wanting a quicker dinner, but other than that, fantastic experience!
