Great burger joint that had a seperate gluten free menu! My coeliac partner reacts to even very small traces of gluten so to not have any symptoms at all just shows how great this place is with their cross contamination. My partner really enjoyed their burger, chips and milkshake. I would recommend booking in advance as it does get very busy!
A very good restaurant, where the service and food were what stood out and deserve top scores. There was a very nice, pleasant and service-minded lady who served us. The food tasted excellent. This applies to both the gluten-free burger and the other burgers. We ordered the cheeseburger, Salzburger and Kennedy burger. The burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked, the dressing was good and the salad was crisp. The French fries and sweet potato fries were also delicious. This place can be recommended.
As promised on the website, they actually cook their own food and make their own lemonade. The ingredients are fresh, delicious, and perfectly balanced. I can't agree with the complaint about small portions; everything was a reasonable amount. The gluten-free breading is also great! Compared to other restaurants, the bill was on the lower end.
Lovely food. Coeliac friendly with a gluten free menu (although significantly reduced from main menu - there are still excellent options). Gluten free roast pork with potatoes, gravy and cabbage and bacon salad was to die for!
Ate in the self service, which is quick, efficient. A key point to note is that if you ask they will make gluten free kaiserschmarn for you. It takes about 20 minutes to prepare.
Basically the burgers are very tasty, but strangely seasoned. Sometimes it tasted like a kebab. The smash burger was smashed well and there was a gluten free option to choose from. Top!
We just ate here, so I can’t comment on rooms.
Authentic and tasty local food with a great atmosphere. Good gluten-free options are also available. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Would recommend!
We were there with 22 people and were allowed to go into the small hut outside the restaurant.👍Really rustic. Good, sumptuous and delicious food and a very nice and funny service and boss. Just spread a good mood.😂 We'll be back. Oh yes, I keep forgetting that "gluten-free" is not an issue here, just ask.👍🇦🇹
Simply great! Vegetarian and fresh cooking was already being done here before it became trendy. We were very surprised to find a vegetarian restaurant in Austria but were not disappointed. The menu contains such great dishes that we found to be absolutely delicious. And the different age groups of the guests also show that vegetarian dishes are not just a trend. We made a reservation for lunch on the same day and were lucky, but we would generally recommend a reservation. Vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free menu available. The cooking here is really fresh and traditional, we were absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back on our next vacation!
0! 0! Sensitivity or awareness to people with allergies. They don't have a menu with allergens or have any idea what's in their own dishes. Our waitress Eva was completely rude and told me that whatever vegan dish was also gluten-free, she also told me I should be the one to know what I could eat and what not. Then, I ordered a meat tartar WITHOUT bread, and I did not only get a bread basket, but a piece of bread sticked in my tartar. Restaurant owners: YOU CAN SEND SOMEONE TO THE HOSPITAL when you dont train your staff or have an allergen menu!!!!
Insanely delicious food, whether gluten-free or normal! We can definitely recommend it for those with celiac disease. Our two children were really spoiled. There was gluten-free pasta and gluten-free pinsa in the form of a pizza. This is placed in the oven in its own bowl. When we asked about the preparation and also about possible cross-contamination, they were very nice and we were even able to talk to the chef about it. That wasn't a problem at all! We feel very well looked after there, great atmosphere and super friendly staff.
We spent three days in the area. We discovered this little gem by chance on the first evening and then spent all three evenings here. The service is very friendly, the food is extremely tasty and plentiful. Zlatko, the boss, personally prepares your favorite dish, gluten-free if necessary. On our wedding day he had prepared a special surprise for us, for which we would like to thank him and his team again. Next time we are in the area we will definitely come back here. You shouldn't miss it either!
Best regards,
Anri and Peter

As a local, I have known (for as long as I can remember) exactly where I can enjoy the best quality food, with a pleasant atmosphere and absolutely great, humorous service. There is also gluten-free pasta and vegan cooking cream, which is very helpful for allergy sufferers. Thank you for your effort!
Horrible, avoid this place.
Food was quit plain.
Staff rude at least our waiter was specially with our table. Lack of attention, didnt come even once to check and told me to look at the picture of the food when asked for gluten allergies on a salad!!
Horrible service i think different dishes come from different kitchen otherwise i dont understand. Still!!!
We got salad first after 30 min pasta and another over 30 min pizzas. So none of the plates we ordered came at the same time. Pizzas seemed to take the longest like forever.
So there was none
Reading now reviews i can see is not a punctual thing. I should have read the reviews before .
Made reservations several months in advance and mentioned need for gluten free. Upon arrival waiter was aware of my needs and told me which options were safe for me, as well as informing me that gluten free toast was available. Ordered ham and cheese omelette with gf toast. Simple but satisfying. Coffee was traditional, rich coffee served with milk and sugar.
We ordered gluten-free pizza and Almdudler and wanted to give the pizza back after one bite. The dough was dry and dusty, like packed flour. The "Almdudler" was the equivalent of a herbal soda from Lidl that had been open for weeks and was no longer carbonated. An absolute impudence to declare this drink as Almdudler and to collect money for it.
Overall, it's not worth it, especially for those who want to take advantage of the gluten-free offer. The ignorant tourist is simply ripped off. It's a shame actually...
Great breakfast restaurant in Salzburg, centrally located with a nice atmosphere. Very friendly service and lovingly prepared food. Vegan and gluten-free available.
The gluten-free pizza tasted good, but I don't understand why you have to pay 3 euros extra for a ready-made crust.
Service, ambience and cleanliness were great, prices are tourist prices.
In the end, as a celiac disease sufferer, you are simply grateful that you can eat something so easily and safely.

The food was excellent. They were very knowledgeable about gluten-free options, as a family member has celiac disease. There were all kinds of gluten-free schnitzels, and almost everything on the menu was available gluten-free. For dessert, there was gluten-free chocolate cake and gluten-free crackers as a welcome gift from the kitchen. The prices were absolutely reasonable. I definitely recommend it.

Yor Ribs in Zell am See is a fantastic dining gem that offers so much more than just ribs! One of the great things about this place is the diverse selection of dishes on the menu, catering to a variety of tastes.
During our visit, my partner indulged in the ribs, along with pulled pork tacos and some chips, while I opted for the shrimp and avocado cocktail, a goat cheese salad, and a portion of truffle chips. Every bite was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I was particularly impressed with the gluten-free options, which were well thought out and satisfying.
One highlight of the meal was the forest fruit lemonade I ordered. It arrived in a big, fancy tumbler filled with fresh fruit at the bottom, and I can confidently say it was probably the best lemonade I've ever had!
We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes; we didn’t expect them to be quite so large but were happy to leave feeling completely filled up and satisfied.
Overall, our experience at Yor Ribs was exceptional, and we would definitely love to come back the next time we visit Zell am See! Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere!
Best Chinese restaurant in Salzburg! They even make the dishes gluten free if you ask them to. The staff is also super nice !! They prepare the dishes fresh so don’t be surprised to wait a bit - it’s worth it though ;)
The Gasthof Gellnwirt is located in the center of Tamsweg. There are public parking spaces in the surrounding area.
We tried to contact via Google Chat to make a reservation. Despite the day being closed, we received immediate feedback and our questions about the gluten-free offer were answered really well.
A really nice chat developed with Verena.
We went there the next day and were not disappointed.
Verena welcomed us with her warm manner and assured us that
that the kitchen is trained for gluten-free preparation.
Service was usually quick. Short waiting times when it's full sometimes happen.
The food was excellent. The gluten-free schnitzel and the gluten-free pancake tasted great! Our daughter was lucky.
Many thanks again to Verena and her team for the wonderful time in their Gellnwirt.

One of, if not the the best, hotel I’ve stayed at. Why?
We got upgraded to a large 3 room apartment with an absolute stunning view.
Everything is clean and tidy and in perfect condition. Our kids loved the spring water pool. And the cows, donkey, sheep, hen, goats and guinea pigs living on first floor! The location high up (3,5 km and 350 m in altitude) gives a magnificent view overlooking the lake, but comes at the price: walking down and up to town will exhaust you. Do not try if not in descent shape!
We opted for an all inclusive stay, where you make your own lunch pack and bring with you on whatever adventure lays ahead on that day. Clever!
And activities there are lots and lots within half an hour drive or so.
Lastly the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs (had two gluten allergies in our family).
To notch in every way!
Had dinner there with my girlfriend and we were so happy. I had the best steak I have ever eaten in Salzburg. My friend, who is gluten-free, ordered the tartare. Afterwards another drink at the bar. Really a nice and lovely evening. Super friendly service. The cook also told me where he bought the meat. Looking forward to the next visit.
Many reviews share gluten free options. Stopped in today. No gluten free options. Trying to save you the trip of you're searching for a gluten free option. This isn't a gluten free option anymore.
To all gluten-free people: the pizzas are incredibly delicious!
My friend had a vegan burger which was also amazing! The staff were quick and friendly and we didn't have to wait long for food - and that on a Saturday evening.
All in all, cool store :-)
The madness. A very cozy hut, an incredibly hospitable owner and team and the best Brettljause in the region. The absolute highlight for me was that they prepared me a gluten-free Kaiserschmarrn after I told Hubert about my dietary restrictions.
Thank you very much, we will definitely come back!
Excellent pizza, fast and friendly service.
However, it is particularly worth highlighting: Every pizza is available with gluten-free dough, which is baked in an aluminum tray. However, contamination is not taken into consideration when serving the pizza. The pizza is lifted from the aluminum tray into the plate with the normal oven peel and cut with the normal pizza cutter. Unfortunately, I had to see this myself. So if you have to pay attention to a gluten-free diet, you should, to be on the safe side, specify when ordering that the pizza will be served uncut in an aluminum tray.
