As someone with celiac disease, I am unfortunately used to having to explain my dietary needs, but rarely have I felt as unwelcome as I did at this establishment. Ordering a gluten-free dish here seems to be more of an inconvenience than anything else. I was criticized for my choice, as if asking not to get sick was a whim.
The icing on the cake: a supplement of €6 for “homemade” gluten-free pasta, which I waited for more than an hour, for an ordinary result.
And to top it off, we were made to understand that our meal was "too quick" because we had only had one dish and one drink.
In short, if you are looking for a restaurant that is inclusive, patient and respectful of its customers, run away.
The Sugar Blue cafe in Nantes is a lovely place to enjoy good coffee and delicious pastries. Its cozy atmosphere and modern decoration create the perfect space to relax or work. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend their specialties. The products are fresh and high quality, with options to suit all tastes, including vegan and gluten-free alternatives. In addition, its central location makes it very accessible. Without a doubt, Sugar Blue is a mandatory stop for lovers of coffee and good pastries. Highly recommended!

My friend has a diet that often poses a problem for the restaurateur, namely gluten-free and vegetarian, and against all odds, the chef was totally attentive and proactive with suitable dishes! In short, we didn't come across as big service heavyweights.
The welcome is really warm, the place is atypical, you immediately feel good there.
The vegetarian dishes are excellent and plentiful, the cold soups a delight, etc.

We spent the weekend there with my mother, a birthday present, and what can I say, we were able to leave here rested. Everything was great, the rooms are very beautiful and quite large (maybe add a hook next to the shower for the towel?), the magnificent view, the area itself is calming, the animals are really a plus. Seeing the gentleman who comes to feed the pigs around 9 a.m. when we are having breakfast is amusing (we see the pigs running after this person and following him 😅) Besides, the breakfast is up to par in this area, caramel homemade, the pancakes are excellent as well as the homemade fig jam too. And it's not the only homemade product but everything is excellent, a great choice for everyone (sweet, savory, vegetarian, gluten-free).
The spa is relaxing, impressive to see the snow fountain! But the big plus of this area I would say is the restaurant. We went there both evenings, the starter with the perfect egg and the main with the octopus casserole were just exquisite... A real delight, I absolutely recommend the restaurant, the service is perfect.
Additionally, everyone is kind, caring and helpful. The small living room is so pleasant that you could spend the day there!
Most of the people who come to the ecodomain live far away so a car is essential (especially with luggage) but after that it's not that far on foot from the city and even less from the sea!
I will come back with pleasure, for the night or even just a meal!
Beautiful area ! The Burgers are to die for! The meat comes from Vendée and is excellent, the requested cooking is respected! There is even the possibility of adding a second steak for those with a sweet tooth! A special mention for the Rock Fort!

Drive menu for Mother's Day last Sunday. Frog legs as an excellent aperitif, succulent foie gras, extra ravioli, hake with white butter a delight, extra fine can, veal flank steak to die for and a special note for gluten-free for the lady. We're used to it and it's still good. And for your information, the weekday menu is very refined. Well done.
We used La Toile à Beurre for our wedding meal in July 2021 and we recommend them 100%! We were completely satisfied with their outstanding service.

Super good pancakes with local products, they are really very nice because I am gluten intolerant and I enjoy it because I can finally eat almost all of their dessert because it changes the pancake into a pancake 😋

We had the pleasure of discovering this charming restaurant with a beautiful view of the sea, and we must say that it was a most pleasant authentic local experience! As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a young and dynamic team, who created a friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout our visit. A little nod to the special attention given to our gluten-intolerant son.
The cocktails offered were simply delicious!
As for the cuisine, we were delighted by the variety of traditional local dishes offered on the menu. Each dish was a true culinary discovery, highlighting the delights of the region. The dishes were simple, but prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients, providing a true local experience.
Plus, the stunning sea view was simply stunning. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy these traditional dishes while admiring the sparkling waters of the sea, creating a peaceful and relaxing ambiance.
We would like to acknowledge the excellent service we received throughout our meal. The staff was attentive, friendly and always willing to share recommendations for local dishes to try.
In summary, if you are looking for an authentic local experience in a setting with wonderful sea views, we can only recommend this restaurant. A young and dynamic team, unique cocktails and delicious traditional cuisine: everything comes together to have an unforgettable time. We are already eagerly planning to return on our next trip to the area!

Very good, refined cuisine and an impressive wine list! The breakfast is complete, with a beautiful buffet of pastries, drinks, ham, cheeses, fruits, cereals and also gluten-free, jam...
I'm taking one star off for the room which will need a bit of modernization and replacing the carpet... The bathroom on the other hand was royal with its bubble bath and shower.

Very good surprise. We were passing through for a drink on the terrace. Finally, we had dinner there. Restaurant for lunch and dinner. The dishes are classic, burger 🍔 stuffed zucchini. The chef puts his personal touch on it and it’s good 👍. There is also organic, vegan and gluten-free. Despite the crowds, the waitresses provide the service and the cuisine follows. Well done !

First dinner in a while at La Cachette, a little surprised we noticed a change of owners! But pleasantly surprised that the taste and atmosphere remained on point. Unfortunately my gluten and lactose free diet did not allow anything on the proposed menu: the chef prepared surprise alternatives for me. A nice surprise.
Absolutely excellent service with very good accommodations for coeliacs. The owners clearly have a great understanding of catering for the needs of coeliacs. The food in general was excellent and extremely tasty, served with a smile. We had our son with us and they were also very good at getting us the best seats for him to run around the garden.

Great place for quality fish and chips at affordable prices. They also serve desserts and drinks. The service is quick and friendly and the owners and server speaks fluent English and French. They also serve gluten free beer battered fish - excellent! Call ahead for this special order. I call in the morning for the evenings visit. Highly recommend.
Small establishment a stone's throw from the city center, the food is delicious, the owners adorable and the room is air-conditioned! Some vegetarian and gluten-free options are available. Don’t hesitate to go there if you like Thai or Chinese food! It is a serious establishment established for over 30 years!

One of the best creperies in Angers even if I preferred the more Brittany decor and the old menu. The team remains efficient and the choice varied, the scallop galette is very good but not very garnished, the frangipane galette is a delight. The 100% buckwheat flour available as a dessert allows celiacs to benefit from it.
Despite the large crowds in the restaurant, Ludovic was able to serve us with kindness, patience and professionalism! Thank you for taking care of my gluten intolerance and keeping me in a good mood all evening 🎉
