My wife and I heard about Joe's Garage from the coeliac Facebook group.. re knowledgeable about coeliac and cross contamination.
So we thought we'd try it out. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!
The service is great, the staff friendly and genuine.
Food is varied and excellent! We'll go again!
Well done team!
Amazing restaurant with honest, delicious food at a great price, topped only by the care and service from the wait staff. My daughter is celiac and all questions were answered with compassion and menu alterations were handled without fuss. Highly recommended whether for a family dinner, work gathering or even a date night.
We took our young family out for our first restaurant meal together ever. Our table had been booked where requested (out of the way, in a booth so not to worry others) and we were greeted by staff. The wait staff were able to inform me of meals that could be adapted for dietary requirements, and they also gave the kids colouring sheets and crayons to keep them occupied. Despite my youngest getting up and spying on the kitchen staff, they still played along with her and gave her the attention she wanted 😅
The food was incredible, can highly recommend a gluten free pizza there. The base was really tasty which is hard to find. The kids meals were great too, had everything they wanted. Highly recommend going there for a family meal. Great prices too. Thanks for a really cool experience.
Food was amazing. Really catered too the gluten and dairy free stuff we asked for. And they really cared about insuring us if we could eat it. Goes a long way for us. Thanks guys we will be back. Keep up the good work.
Mekong Delta has some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever tried. I had the bun nam tofu (vegan and gluten free), and the quality of food and flavour for such a cheap price was amazing. Thank you to the man working at the bar for such a nice conversation about the ufc too :) Highly recommend to anyone in Hamilton!
Popped into Burger Burger today and honestly loved it. Tried the gluten-free chicken burger and it totally hit the spot—super tasty and didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything. The staff were really nice, and the whole place had a cool, relaxed vibe. Definitely coming back for another round!
Fantastic Vietnamese eatery. Everything tasted fresh and was super flavourful. I especially recommend the lemongrass tofu, which was especially rich in flavour.
Almost everything on the menu is gluten and dairy friendly, and also plenty of vegetarian dishes on offer.
Best Kebab in Hamilton !!! .. and we have tried pretty much all of them.
1) Wrap is toasted & crunchy on the outside but still fresh on inside as they toast it unwrapped so salad and filling don't go soggy. Just perfect. (A lot of kebab shops cut corners on this because it takes more time)
2) Falafels are delicious, not filled up with flour but chickpeas and flavor as Falafels should be. And they're gluten free.
3) Packed full... these guys aren't stingy with fillings.
Wouldn't change a thing. 10/10
Service friendly and even asked if we had any suggestions to improve.. but these kebabs were too good to improve.
We will be back!
Ordered through UberEats - GODDAMN! So damn delicious!!! Shout out to Haylee who informed me of the coeliac options here through email. Enjoyed the Sirloin Steak with red wine jus, mash & veges and the Mango Panna Cotta. Everything was so perfectly cooked, seasoned, and fresh! The portions were incredible and worth every cent! I'm stoked to have another delicious dinner option.
Awesome cafe. Not too many gluten-free cabinet options. But they have amazing gluten-free savory muffins.
They also have gluten-free menu options, which include some lovely crepes
Furnace has been our favourite family restaurant for many years. We had dinner there last night. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing: the pork main was just pork fat (likely why one woman was ill in the night); we made a point of asking the waitress for gluten free bread (as one member has celiac) where the waitress checked with the kitchen and advised us that would be ok. However, unbeknown to us "normal" bread was served resulting in a very sick woman the rest of the night; the wine waiter appeared to be quite flustered all evening bringing incorrect drinks to our table and then forgetting drinks we had ordered. Not a relaxing family night out.

Ended up vomiting and violently sick for a week after eating here due to the lack of care for gluten allergies. Extremely unsafe and they don’t even care enough to put the allergens on the menu (please do this because your staff have 0 knowledge of what is or isn’t allergy friendly anyway and it’s such a pain)
Exceptional service every time we have visited here for dinners. Staff are lovely and more than accommodating to dietary requirements, lots of options for everyone - we are always stoked with how many choices of gluten-free and vegetarian option there are. Would recommend!
I recently visited this restaurant with my family and had a mixed experience.
While I appreciated the allergy menu and good selection of gluten-free options, the pork belly dish was disappointing. The pork belly was too dry and lacked of crispness on the skin, I was hoping to have that crunchie sound when cutting up.
On a positive note, the prawn and scallop tortellini was impressive and delicious.
However, the food took a bit too long to arrive at the table, which was a bit frustrating. The portions were quite small due to the tapas style of dining, which made it hard to justify the high price.
Overall, I would still recommend this restaurant for the good selection of gluten-free options.
An exceptional experience, flavourful, thoughtful, and generous.
This wasn’t their presentation, it’s takeout, but the quality absolutely deserves a proper photo and review. The restaurant came highly recommended by my fussy Indian colleague, and I can now say: I’d rate them even higher.
What truly stood out was the service. The young man who took my order called me back to double-check if I was okay with gluten, something that is typically the customer’s responsibility to mention. That level of care was genuinely above and beyond.
Every dish impressed. The Chicken 65 was incredibly tender, generously portioned for just $17, and packed with deep, rich flavor. The onion rings were an unexpected delight—lightly spiced, not greasy, and a perfect textural contrast.
But the star of the meal was the Palak Paneer. It’s easily the best I’ve had in years. The spinach was fresh and vibrant, the texture velvety, and the seasoning masterfully done, mildly sweet, gently creamy, with spices that complemented the dish instead of overpowering it. It reminded me of how Palak Paneer is meant to taste.
It was so good, I paused mid-meal, plated it properly, and took a photo, because food this good deserves to be celebrated. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience and food! The wine list is great, and the food is amazing, would highly recommend if you’re in Hamilton! A lot of gluten free options too!
This is such a gorgeous restaurant! It’s family run and you can tell by the care and thoughtful of their service.
They are such kind and friendly people that make you feel so welcome.
And the food!! Omg it is delicious!! Their onion bhajis are the best I’ve ever tasted and reading through their menu you can see the immense range of dishes they make and the thought and family tradition put into them. Their prize dish is their butter chicken and it’s prized and treasured for a reason! It’s divine.
I’m also Gluten intolerant and they were so accommodating when they realised I wished I could eat a naan and so made a gluten free friendly version of a naan for me. So kind!
I love coming here. It’s such a loving environment with amazing food!
Wonderful evening, dinner cooked to absolute perfection, I had a Moroccan lamb on carrot puree and mint sause. Desert gluten free chocolate brownie with ice cream. Absolutely delitful. Inmaculate presentation, staff manners and the level of attention was spot on. This place is a hidden gem. Excellent ambience for dinner with friends, family or business.
We absolutely loved our dinner here. The food was delicious, every dish! The staff were lovely, the food came out quickly A+++++++++ restaurant 😀 Our new favorite place to dine! I'm Gluten Free and there were a lot of options for me that weren't stated on the menu. I asked the waitress to point them out and there were so many to choose from which was great 👍 My absolute fav was the Chinese salad!!! Yum 💜
My daughter had her wedding reception here and the entire experience was awesome. Delicious food, amazing service and devine cocktails. We gave prior notice of one person needing gluten free and they were very well (and safely) looked after. I can't recommend Caffe' Centrale any higher, overall an amazing experience.

Incredible! Beautiful from the moment you walk in, the space has been so thoughtfully designed.
The food is amazing, I’m allergic to gluten and had absolutely everything, including the best gluten free bread I’ve ever eaten!
The wine pairings were perfect and both Karl and Drew’s knowledge of the food and wine made it a super special experience. We were a group of four with another four and by the end of the night it felt like a dinner party. So much fun, will definitely be back!

This place is always packed which is the first good sign! Lines move fast considering the demand. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, obviously quite a lot of gluten free options. They seek other little bakery bits and drinks too so a bit for everyone. Some of the best sushi I’ve had for sure!
Im lucky enough to work next door to here and for someone who annoyingly has to eat gluten free, I couldnt be more stoked with Dagu as an option. Delicious food, friendly staff, warm and inviting!
Lovely staff and nice, clean little cafe. Lots of options for gluten-free and vegetarian meals, easy wheelchair access, and have never had issues finding parking.

You might have walked past this hidden gem but would urge you to stop and check this place out (well at least make a booking as it’s very busy).
Food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Not the cheapest place however the quality makes up for it. The drinks menu is bigger than the food menu so please check it online before you go so you know if there is something you will like. Options for gluten free people too. Loved the dessert trolley too - some simple mousses which were perfect for after the fine food we had eaten. Would definitely go back for a special occasion.

Table for 3 early on a Wednesday evening.
Exceptional wait service by a delightful young man who made me an absolutely delicious gimlet 😋.
My starter of soft cheese and beetroot salad was delicious - I'd have roasted the beetroot longer to intensify the flavour - but to be fair, I am a fan if intense.
Husband and son enjoyed the sourdough and garlic butter served with some grassy olive oil.
Husband got his Fred Flinstone on with the, beautifully cooked and presented, tomahawk steak with handcut twice-cooked fries and roasted garlic and herb sauce. To his credit, he ate every bite of the half kg, even a sneaky nibble on the bone!
A mix up with Mr 9's meal was quickly corrected, but sadly wasn't what he expected and wasn't to his taste. Absolutely not Paddock to Plate's fault and they did their utmost to accomodate him. It was certainly a good teaching moment to learn to be gracious.
My order of lamb rack, with roasted carrots, mushroom and truffle sauce was utterly divine. A massive portion of meat - that we were craving - I could only eat half! A takeaway box was provided and that's my lunch today!
Husband's dessert of rhubarb and apple crumble was huge and reported as delicious - topped with quality ice cream.
The same lovely ice cream was in our child's sundae, which he enjoyed.
My sago and caramalised pineapple dessert was dense, heavy and overly sweetened - again a huge portion. There was toasted coconut chips sprinkled on top, but these were soft rather than crisp to compliment the softness.
I found myself craving a barely sweet burnt-butter cremé bruleé (hint, menu suggestion).
It was a cold winter's night and the restaurant wasn't warm enough. Other guests also kept their jackets on. Rather than linger for coffee or congac, we left to go and get warm. I am strictly gluten free, but there are so many options and care and attention shown to be reassuring.
Our waiter was wonderful and made for a lovely dining experience and we'll most definately return.
