Authentic Vietnamese food - good sized portions and very tasty. Service was good, food came quickly, the gluten free options are exceptional and I was able to take my dog with me. Loved it and cant wait to return.

Brilliant service, we were asked when we arrived if there were any dietary or allergy concerns - I stated I have Coeliac and they gave me a lot of information about how they have separate GF fryers, showed me how to find the allergen menu and even advised me not to steal a waffle fry from my boyfriend as they’re not gluten free! Caitlin served us and she was fab, really helped explain everything and made me so comfortable. Ideal for anyone gluten free!

Went for tea after receiving a £15 birthday gift card from the restaurant group. Was a lovely evening, gluten free pizza and fries. Chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert. Very nice.

Up there with one of the best bottomless in Newcastle. Super fast service they take your next drink order as they bring you your drink. Food is lovely, just the right amount if you’re out for a drink. Really flavourful and something totally different. Good price for what you’re getting, think we had about 10-15 drinks so it’s well worth the price! Also, didn’t apply to us but I did notice they had brilliant dietary options for everyone (gluten free etc) Amazing service from Ana she couldn’t do enough for us and was super quick, impressively so! Will be returning soon to try their main menu. Massively recommend!

Lovely pizza restaurant. Plenty of gluten and dairy free options. Knowledgeable staff. Could of done with more staff on when we went as it took a while to get attention once our pizzas were finished and we wanted pudding. Lovely vibe to the place.

I celebrated my birthday here with eight friends on Saturday and had a wonderful time. Our waiter was friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed; he was especially helpful when it came to splitting the bill. We had two gluten-free members of our party and they were equally satisfied with the service they received; the manager came out to speak to them personally before their meals were prepared. We'll definitely be back!

I had a gluten free burger and my friend had a taco dish both were really nice and tasty. The service was good and out waitress had a good knowledge of gluten-free dishes. The atmosphere was nice, we had a table in the corner at the back which was nice and private. We had a nice time and would recommend it.

Loved this place, even if it's a little bit 'Instagrammy'. Food and service was top notch. Great gluten free menu. Only let down by the WORST Old Fashioned cocktail I have ever had. Was so looking forward to what was promised on the menu. What arrived was a glass about a quarter full with ice and a small amount of clear liquid, no garnish, nothing! Barely tasted of whisky or like an old fashioned, and had certainly never even been in passing distance of the promised cardamon. £9.75 for that left me feeling disappointed. Left me wondering what Giles Coren was going on about. I should have said something but I didn't want to spoil a relaxing evening.

Cannot stress how exceptional the service is here. Lovely staff, couldn’t do more for us. I have coeliac disease and must follow a gluten free diet and they were very accommodating. We did the lunch deal which is great value for money! Hot and sour soup and the lemon chicken were devine. The restaurant itself is lovely with table divider curtains which make it nice and intimate. The tables are very spacious and have a lazy susan which I love, it makes it so easy for sharing. We will definitely be back!!

Music a bit too loud for conversation, but a nice assortment of beers and ciders. Nice options for gluten free drinks! Didn’t eat at the Tap, but the menu was clearly marked for gluten free options. Bar staff knowledgeable about gluten free. Tried Tyne 9 from Firebrick Brewery.

Jesmond Dene House Saved Our Wedding – The Best Day of My Life! We had our wedding at Jesmond Dene House on 10 May 2025, and it was truly the best day of my life. After a heartbreaking experience with another venue cancelling just 8 weeks before our wedding, we were devastated. But Jesmond Dene House stepped in and completely turned everything around—they quite literally saved our day. From the moment we got in touch, the team was incredible. A special thank you to Hannah, our amazing event planner, who was supportive, encouraging, and so genuinely invested in making our day perfect. She guided us through every step with such warmth and professionalism, and by the end, she felt like a true friend. The venue itself is stunning, but it’s the people who make it exceptional. The entire team went above and beyond to make everything feel personal and seamless. There were a few small hiccups on the day (as there always are!), but the staff handled everything so calmly and quietly that we barely noticed (and our guests did not at all!). Nothing was too much trouble, and their calm, caring presence made all the difference. The food was absolutely outstanding—elegant, delicious, and beautifully presented. What made it even more special was that the entire menu was tailored to be 100% gluten free and coeliac-friendly for all our guests. That level of care and attention meant the world to us. From start to finish, Jesmond Dene House made us feel so looked after. The love, joy, and magic of the day will stay with us forever.
