My friend said the gluten-free pizza was the best she has ever had. This may be hard to believe, but I am the only one in our group that likes anchovies :) The cook gave me some on a separate plate to add to my slices . We all thought the pizza was the best we have had in a long time .
Honestly I wasn’t going to come and review badly but I twice ordered food from this location this week. Both times the same order GLUTEN FREE cheeseburger with bacon. No fries a Salad. Seems straight forward. Both times they sent me a burger with a regular bun. Bad enough uber eats takes an hour then I’m waiting again. I love Bjs I eat the burgers all the time. Twice with the wrong order in the same week. You guys are going to seriously hurt someone with a severe allergy luckily I eat this burger all the time and know the difference in the bun. Terrible and to top it off this time they sent it with raw bacon….. last time I ordered again. This time I’ll go to university of beer and call it a day.
My wife and I recently had gluten-free cheeseburgers and bottomless regular and sweet potato fries at the very clean Galleria Boulevard Red Robin in Roseville, California. Though the burgers and fries were the usual high quality, the gf buns were better than any we’ve had anywhere because they were tasty, not too thick or fluffy and didn’t fall apart as we ate. Even though they were quite busy, our waiter, Evan, was friendly, efficient and attentive to the progress of our meal and drinks. We have to give the restaurant overall, food and waiter five stars.
I have celiac disease and went here for brunch because they have a gluten free menu. If you don't have any food allergies, this is a nice breakfast restaurant. Clean, nice tables, food quality seemed decent enough. However, the gluten free menu has only about 5-6 items listed most of those being gluten free French toast, waffles, pancakes with only 1 savory option if I remember correctly. Gluten free pancakes and waffles tend to taste like crap no matter what you do, so I'm usually looking for items that are naturally gluten free like meat, rice, potatoes, eggs, etc. I explicitly told my server that I had a severe allergy and I have celiac disease, he said "ok". I probably should have asked more questions, but when I'm ordering in front of a group of people, it gets awkward when trying to make sure I'm going to be safe eating there. Sometimes I just give up trying to make sure I'm going to be safe and leave it up to luck. I ordered eggs, hash browns, sausage and GF French toast. When my order arrived at the table the server had stacked another plate on top of mine and some of the powdered sugar from another plate of regular French toast had fallen onto my eggs and hash browns. When the server set my plate down I realized that his gloves were dirty (greasy) with pieces of food stuck to them. He left greasy fingerprints on the inside edges of my plate of food. This would probably be gross anywhere you go to eat, but for me it induced anxiety because I get severely ill if my food is cross-contaminated. For example I can't use the same butter knife or toaster as someone who has used those items for buttering or toasting real bread. In restaurants, it is difficult to avoid cross-contact with other food, I get that. But this restaurant made no attempt to keep my food separate or change their gloves when preparing or serving my food. Additionally, I was given regular French toast instead of gluten free French toast. I noticed right away and he grabbed the plate of French toast off the table and said he would be back with the GF version. It seems there is no system in place for labeling orders with allergies or the kitchen messed up big time. I'd like to make it clear that celiac disease is an autoimmune issue. My body thinks it's being attacked and creates antibodies when I accidentally consume gluten. This is not a tummy ache or a fad diet. I get extremely ill. I ate the food against my better judgement and I've been sick for two days now. The GF French toast was inedible in my opinion. I took 2 bites and couldn't do it. Not really altogether the restaurants fault, there aren't a lot of good options for gluten free bread and I assume they are just purchasing something premade. Overall, I would just ask that they either train their employees on how to handle celiac orders, or simply say that the restaurant is not safe for celiacs or people with severe gluten allergies because they don't follow protocols for minimizing cross- contact.
I have a severe gluten allergy and I came here just to try the gluten free pizza. Flour Dust killed it! My pizza was delicious, and I didn't get sick from cross-contamination. I checked with our server that the pizza would be made on a clean surface, and cut with a clean knife, and she said yes, for allergies that's exactly what we do. There are only a few restaurants that are safe for me to eat at as a celiac, and I often feel left out because I can't eat anything on the menu, or I'm terrified I will get seriously ill from accidently eating gluten (often restaurants will incorrectly identify dishes as gluten free when they are not). I had the Hawaiian Bro pizza and the flavors were perfect, they use pepperoni instead of ham on their version of a Hawaiian and it was definitely a winner for me! My boyfriend enjoyed his pizza as well, he doesn't have a allergy and he had the sausage and cream cheese pizza, he said it was well balanced. We will be back soon! Thank you so much Flour Dust for taking the time to make gluten free pizza and you're efforts to make it as safe as possible.
I had a lovely birthday dinner here with my family! We loved the variety at the salad bar as well as all the different cuts of meat (and the fact so much is compatible with gluten-free). Jocelyn was an excellent server and the rest of the team was very attentive as well.
Mendocino Farms is a sandwich and salad fast-casual restaurant. They are known for catering to people's food preferences. They offer delicious and reasonably priced gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian meal options. The not so fried Chicken sandwich is fantastic. The roasted chicken breast is topped with crispy buttermilk batter, known as Mendo's Krispies with herb aioli, mustard pickle slaw, tomatoes, pickled red onions on a toasted ciabatta. The interior of Mendo's is homey and decorated with natural, outdoor color tones. Large Windows act as walls and make use of a small restaurant space. The large patio on the side, offers additional seating. This is a good lunch date spot, since the patio offers privacy and there are plenty of places close by to extend the date. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY
Fabulous job on mother's day. My dad and I have celiac and there were NO PROBLEMS with our food. Outback really cares about they're customers. It's really Nice to know I can come here and eat knowing I'm 100% Positive I won't get sick later :)
Friends brought me for my birthday. We had a wonderful experience.
They are both celiac and it was nice to have lots of options.
I had a sangria which was delicious! And we shared an appetizer with cold mashed potatoes layered with avocado and topped with mahi mahi surrounded with fresh hominy and a luscious sauce. We also had the beef heart skewers, which was a first for me and it was fantastic.
We shared the veggie and beef stir frys. It included mushrooms, asparagus, red onions, and tomatoes. Both dishes were flavorful and very generous.
I was treated with a brownie with strawberries and fun authentic hats for the celebration.
Looking forward to trying their lunch buffet.
Great service! They loaded up our gluten free vegan pizza with veggies and baked It to perfection!! And they accumulated us 10 min before closing time!
First time customer. Great service. Great food. Loved all the drink selections. Wine selection so huge great variety. The dinner menu was excellent. The food was delicious and came fast and hot. The experience was great! The atmosphere was very nice and so enjoyable. The gluten-free options were great.
Another great dinner at Chicago Fire Roseville. This is my wife's favorite gluten-free pizza in town. And Tristan always does a tremendous job - we make a lot of special requests, and he delivers...even when one of my go-to items (Da Caab) is no longer on the menu!
Stopped for lunch! Wish I had been told about the specials of the day! This pizza was amazing. Although I didn’t get pictures, my lunch companions had spaghetti and the chicken and broccoli ( other than the salad, the only gluten free meal in the place).
I have celiac disease and have to eat gluten free and that can sometimes be an issue. Everyone at Brookfields was very knowledgeable about what foods I could eat there, and they were on top of cross contamination so I didn't get sick! Highly recommended.
I always order the best gluten free pepperoni sausage pizza 🍕 every time I come to town. The owners are the nicest people and the service is excellent and fast. Recommended by my brother, Bruce, Scoreboards is a winner 🏆!!
I went by one evening and had ordered a gluten free pizza, long story short it was made wrong. Their was a young lady who was helping me darker skin, she had a unique name, glasses with black hair that was in a wrap. The gentleman who was issuing me the refund didn't know how, so she came over to do it, after being called to help with one of the machines. Her staff was calling her left and right but she was helping all over the place with a smile. I normally don't write reviews but she turned what could've been a bad experience into a great one. Thank you
So I'm extremely allergic to gluten, and so obviously, I get a bit concerned with gluten-free options that's not in a completely gluten-free kitchen. Wow, oh wow. I am blown away at the service that was provided with this knowledge. The gluten-free bread is SO GOOD, and so is the rest of the food. I haven't had food that good in a while. I absolutely will be going back. Thank you for providing great food and great service as well.
One of the yummiest things I've ever eaten in my life! I LOVE that they have vegetarian and gluten free options. Looking forward to trying many more options from the menu!
We were in the Sacramento/Roseville area for a weekend volleyball tournament. Had to make the drive up with Friday traffic from the bay area with RV in tow and wanted to find a decent place that offered my son some great food, but me too with gluten free/ vegetarian offerings.
Eureka came up nearby and looked at the menu and was excited to try. We drove up, it looked really busy outside and thought we'd go over to Lazy Dog that had a half empty patio (as I literally just made a comment wishing there was a Lazy Dog). As we got closer to Lazy Dog, it looked like it was set up for a big party and went back across the street to Eureka.
SO SO happy we did! There was actually room at a table outdoors or indoors. We opted for indoors and AC after our 3.5 hour drive in traffic and left to nice outdoor space for someone else. We were happy to be seated right away.
For the rare few like myself with chemical sensitivities, sitting indoors was pleasurable. No bleach affecting our space, high ceilings with lots of ventilation left no lingering fragrances from nearby tables and all staff were fragrance free which made for a most enjoyable experience I don't get elsewhere with this disability.
My son ordered the BBQ bacon burger with some mac n cheese balls (he wished he had more) and I had the Crispy Veggie Beet burger. He gobbled his food down so fast and said it was so much better than Lazy Dog. I too, was happy with the gluten free bun ($3 extra) that was light with slight crisp and actually tasted good, but oh my, that beet burger with the slight crisp too it has to be my all time favorite veggie burger. It was moist, yet crisp, and flavored so you didn't need condiments if you didn't want them.
They didn't have grand marnier so no cadillac margarita, but the spa day margarita was interesting. First sip, no, too much cucumber, but got a straw and then tried it and actually enjoyed it as it wasn't as sweet as most and then ordered another.
Service was on par! Luka was great and attentive. He answered all my random gluten free questions as well as others about the restaurant. Appreciated him being attentive and there when needed but not over checking on us. Absolutely perfect service and much appreciated.
I hope someday they open one closer to us than Berkeley in the bay area. The tri-valley would LOVE this. It is our new favorite restaurant and will return any chance we get!
Celiacs rejoice!
I am not able to eat gluten and it is very difficult to safely dine out or enjoy fast food.
Thankfully, In N Outs simple menu and well trained staff mitigate most of this peril. After years of dining almost exclusively at home, I now have a reliable go to when I am in a pinch and need a quick bite to eat. After a dozen trips, I haven't had one issue yet. Allergy orders are handled by one person, and my truck sets up high enough that I can usually spot the person who personally oversees the making of my order. They always handle my orders with such care.
The foods great, we all know that. Even people living under a rock for the last 50 years have sat in one of In N Out's notoriously epic drive thru lines for 20 minutes just to get their mouths around one of their amazing burgers.
Other folks were correct that the food looks amazing, the food tasted good as well. They were also correct that reservations during busy times aren't honored since we had to wait another 20ish minutes to be sat. Unfortunately something went wrong with our order as well where it took an 1.5 to get our food, even just the simple appetizer. It was our first date night since getting married so it was a special date night for us and unfortunately this was not a great experience. The manager did come over and apologize for the wait and everything that happened. We hope to give this restaurant another try later on, just maybe not for a special event.
What we did love and were grateful for was that there were many vegetarian and gluten free options.
A nice restaurant. Good food, great service. A little pricey for lunch. They have a gluten free menu. The waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten free options.
I have celiac, a severe sensitivity to wheat, barley & rye. The staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. The food is tasty, although I have a very limited selection of gluten safe foods.
Had such a great experience at Local Kitchens granite bay! I love all the new melt items they added to their menu and tried out the melt chicken sandwich!
Lettuce and tomatoes were super fresh and it stayed together well even as a lettuce wrap! Great healthy gluten free option or a great price!
This is the best Poké place I have found in Roseville. My girlfriend and I moved here from San Diego recently which was not lacking in delicious Poke options. This is better than most of those. Food is authentic, fresh, and delicious. My girlfriend loves that the crab salad is gluten free as well, and the staff is trained on food allergies/intolerances. It hasn’t ever been too busy when we go which is surprising because of how good it is. If you’re a sushi or Poke lover, this is the place for you.
Great shop. Gluten free eaters rejoice. All meats are GF. They have GF pitas also.
Update: I’ve been here five times and it gets better every time. This last trip I perfected it with Greek fries, 6oz beef and lamb and a full side of taziki with veggies. Great service.
I ordered the shrimp Slovakia plate and my daughter got the gyro plate. I'm gluten free so the package the pita bread separately for me which is appreciated. It is a little expensive though.
I was absolutely thrilled when I received an invitation to my co-worker's birthday party at this amazing place! Let me tell you, the moment I walked in, was greeted by the super friendly bartender, Benjamin. He was so polite and even offered me a drink menu right away. But, being the patient person that I am, I decided to wait for the rest of my dinner party before ordering.
Guess what? As I was waiting, I casually asked Benjamin if they had a table reserved for our party. And you won't believe it, the owner was sitting right there and had just prepared a room for a party of 12! I couldn't help but walk over to the owner, who was just as polite, nice, and as Benjamin. He personally showed to the room where our party would be held. And to my surprise, he had prepared the most stunning charcuterie board that was simply out of this world!
I struck up a conversation with the owner and made sure to let him know how delighted I was with the staff and that incredible charcuterie board. Seriously, it was a masterpiece! But that's not all, my friend. I also had the chance to chat with some of the other patrons, and they were raving about the place. They said it felt like "Cheers" in there, where everyone knows your name. How cool is that?
Oh, and let me tell you, they even had gluten-free options on the menu! As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, that made me incredibly happy. And the drinks? Oh boy, they were absolutely delicious!
I had such an amazing time at this place, and you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be coming back for more. It's just that good!
