Fantastic food and very lively energy! I have celiac disease and I was so excited to find gluten free options here and our server was knowledgeable about allergies. Every dish is made to order so they're able to make customizations based on dietary needs. Cocktails were awesome too. Super excited to have found this spot, looking forward to coming back soon.

Had an amazing dinner at Caffé Sport. Our server was very friendly and assured us that the kitchen took gluten free order very seriously. That us separate water for gluten free pasta and clean the prep space for gluten free pizza. Really enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend!
I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and have to give up gluten. I decided to delay the diet until after I visited Capo’s for one last Chicago-style deep dish pizza! It was fantastic – everything I could have hoped for. The chocolate chip cannoli was fantastic as well.
The staff was very friendly and made the experience very enjoyable.
A little tight between tables and on the louder side but otherwise an enjoyable experience. Chicken Parmesan was delicious. Smaller drink and food menu but appreciate the gluten free pasta. The staff were very on top of water refills and bussing.
Was here for a big group dinner. The good: The burrata salad and the ossobuco was all right. The bad:
1. The waiter we had was obnoxious and not good! We have one person with gluten free allergy (celiac!) and when the waiter brought out the entree, he did not remember which one was gluten free. Not only did the waiter not remember who ordered what, but he also did not remember which was the gluten free dish out of the 5 pasta dish!
2. The waiter also pushed us to drink the wine and sparkling water instead of bringing us water! There were not enough cups at the table and it took forever to get tap water. Our water was also never filled and instead the waiter kept bringing more sparkling water. I suspect this is because this is a work dinner so he knew that we would just pay whatever the bill is, and wanted more tips (but also didn’t even pay attention to the person with allergy?)
3. The desserts were SO BAD! They had did dish called Bacche Alla crema (cream and berries) and a version poached pear in cream and it was literally fresh fruit in heavy cream. Like watery heavy cream!
4. The restaurant smells faintly of mildew/trash smell. I don’t know if this is a function of their carpet/ building being old but it was not a pleasant smell.
The waiter kept going on about the history of the place, but the basic service quality and food quality were just not there. Go here for the “character” and the Instagram pics- don’t go here for service and food.
This was a wonderful experience! The food was incredible, with homemade pasta for my husband and a gluten free noodle option for me, which can be applied to most of their pasta dishes!
(They also kindly let me know that there may be cross contamination, so if you are celiac, I would tread carefully, though I felt fine after subbing the gf pasta in the Fettuccine al Pesto, which was wonderful!)
The service was pleasant, quick, and attentive as well, overall, will definitely be going back!
The place is excellent with a friendly staff, cool vibe and good food. I got a hamburger with fries and they were accommodating about making it gluten free.
I took away one star because if you are on the same side of the street, you most likely will not be able to find the place. There is a sign, but it's only visible from the opposite side of the street. The entrance is hidden down at the end of an unmarked alleyway.
Eat here if you can!! I am celiac and they make delicious gluten free bowls. Their smoothie recipes look amazing too. I can’t wait to come back. What a gem!
Baldo the waiter was so kind, helpful and patient. The place is clean, full of happy people and such a welcoming vibe. Perfect for going out with the family, and gives a good idea of what North Beach is all about. The food had my brothers weeping, definitely get the Chicken parm alfredo and pesto ravioli! They also had good gluten free pasta
