If you want amazing fried fish, check this place out. I haven’t had fried fish since I was diagnosed with Celiac (about 6 years ago). It was amazing. A nice crispy light batter made with brown rice flour. It was great!

The menu mentions asking about gluten-free options, so I asked what was gluten-free. The answer, “everything”. They have gluten-free toast, French toast, and waffles! They also have sugar-free syrup! Having a wheat allergy and being diabetic usually means I have to be very selective. I was amazed at how accommodating this restaurant is. The food was amazing and Phillip was an excellent server!

Great place, food is delicious 🤤 gluten free & vegan. Every time we are in Sarasota that’s our HAPPY 😃 PLACE. Our servers Andrey and Matt were great explaining the menu and advise us options. This was the weekend of Saturday May 3rd - Monday May 5th, 2025.

Definitely not celiac friendly! You can smell the baked pizza in the air. Yeah nope! How can anybody rate these places as gluten-free friendly. Seriously, just walking in and being there for 5 minutes, my son and I both were symptomatic, and we didn't even eat or drink anything

This place exceeded expectations. Excellent food, drinks and service. We started with raw clams and spicy margaritas and then had two pasta dishes for entrees. My partner is gluten free and they offer gluten free pasta which was great! Everything tasted and was presented beautifully. Serving sizes were very generous - I took at least half my entree home! Our server was friendly, professional and quick. We will be back!

As someone who is gluten free- having several clearly marked choices on menu is always comforting and helpful. Food was delicious. Our table got enchiladas, birria tacos and queso fundido. All of it was very good. Tacos were some of the best I’ve had. Also our server Daniela was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return.

Picked up my 2 large pizzas, 1 gluten free pizza and a Greek salad one hour prior to closing- the Greek salad was bland and non of the ingredients were chopped- the gluten free pizza was probably the best GF pizza I’ve ever had. My family said the regular pizzas were good. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a good pizzas place.

They have an excellent happy hour! Also the most delicious homemade gluten free pita. The tzatziki dip is the best I've ever had and saganaki is a childhood favorite. Highly recommend this location.

My first time here. The perfect choice and a great evening. The food was delicious. I’m celiac as well as having a dairy allergy. My waitress Julia couldn’t have been more accommodating. She made sure my meal was perfect. Very friendly and professional. Top notch service! Brian the manager was excellent. He too made sure I had the best service as well as making me feel like family while there. I was celebrating my birthday and he went out of his way to make the evening a great one for me. Great restaurant and great staff. Highly recommended :)

We visited for the first on Mother's Day for lunch. It was not very crowded. The atmosphere and decor were casual. Everything was clean. The server was friendly and efficient. The food was amazing! I had the chicken pesto sandwich, which was a generous size, moist and flavorful. Gluten free buns were available! We sampled some appetizers. The Brussels sprouts were so good, as were the hush puppies, pretzels and house made beer cheese dip. I was impressed at the quality standards. Grassfed beef, sustainably sourced seafood, organic produce and even biodegradable cutlery. And, to top it off, they gave me a complimentary brownie a'la mode with strawberries!! We WILL be back!

We absolutely loved our experience at Kojo Sarasota, hands down the best sushi in town! Beautiful salon, bar and high tables as well, gets very crowded but still feels spacious enough. The food was outstanding!! Every dish was packed with great flavors and well prepared. You can truly taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite, which makes the whole experience even better. Great menu, The sushi rolls were outstanding, and the seaweed crunchy taco was such a fun and delicious surprise. We also tried the greens and Brussels sprouts, and they were incredible too, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. The cocktails were top-notch, crafted with high quality products and creativity. On top of that, the service was excellent — everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere is elegant and classy, with a beautiful design that makes it perfect for a special night out. We celebrated a birthday, and Kojo made it unforgettable with a complementary dessert and some bubbly, a thoughtful and classy touch! They also offer a separate gluten-free menu, which is a huge plus. Overall, we had an awesome time, a very unique experience and can’t wait to come back and try other delicious dishes. 5 stars for this great restaurant. Truly the best sushi experience in Sarasota!

Mckenna was our server and she was amazing! My burger was delish and the gluten free bun wasn’t bad. I sat outside. I likely would t have wanted to eat inside as very loud and cold. I’ll be back for the steak!

GLUTEN FREE SAFE!! First off, I never write online reviews but I feel compelled to do so with Stiks. This restaurant has quickly become one of our favorite spots to eat at in Sarasota. The food is always made fresh (and fast), everyone is always SUPER friendly and the place is decorated with a very chill vibe and ALWAYS kept clean. Both my wife and daughter have Celiac disease and cannot tolerate any cross contamination. I'm here to tell others with the same disease that this place is very safe for you to eat at. They've never been cross contaminated here and we always enjoy the food. This place IMO is a hidden gem in Sarasota and especially for those that wish they can eat this kind of food but fear cross contamination. I highly recommend you give it a try, you won't regret it!

Their biscuits are out of this world, the best in town! They have regular or gluten free sweet potato biscuits they are both 10/10. Their biscuits and gravy and baked eggs are fantastic! There’s always very yummy pastries and treats in their display case as well. Not crazy about their drinks but the food will knock your socks off.

Tonight we came with a party of 9 and we had an amazing time! We’ve had two children and our server Patrik was very accommodating and made sure we had everything that we needed throughout the entire night! Our drinks were never half empty and pitchers were full! We will absolutely be back next time we’re in town! Amazing food, staff, and atmosphere. The restaurant was very accommodating to my wife’s Gluten allergy. The smoked chicken was so moist and Gluten free with savory sides to match. It is very difficult to find a restaurant that produces true Gluten free with such amazing quality and taste, yet we have found the diamond in the rough with Yoders!. They even offer a multitude of pies both gluten free and traditional. I have never had a better pie in my life. The answer is yes this should be your next meal!

Gluten free options, separate fryer for the fries!!!! Fries and sweet potaro fries are so good the staff are helpful and sweet. Tastey! Happy hour 3 to 5 and thats on most days. Applies to beer and wine only i believe

Delicious and cozy. Really friendly staff. My kid and I sat at the bar. Great playlist. Loved the vibe. The Sunnyside burger was huge! They made it gluten free for my kid - hence the toast instead of a bun. She said it’s the best burger she’s had in years! She finished it! And the homemade fries lol! I had the Sunnyside salad. Swapped kale for arugula and I am 💯 percent returning for this zesty, fresh salad! The roasted chickpeas and avocado in lemon are a culinary experience.

Additional recommendations, ribeye (size and taste align with the price), coconut shrimp and calamari REVIEW 12/29/23 5 stars are few, BUT triple tail deserves it! Back Story: I was craving a grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun and my brain and stomach said “no other option it HAS to be that”. After calling 5 restaurants, being prompted to go online, unable to speak to a real person, or gluten free buns being unavailable it was the restaurant who specializes in seafood who: -Answered the phone -Had the most pleasant and professional young lady take my order -Accommodated all my requests (I’m extra and ask to add or remove a lot of things, I am a Karen after all) -Meal was executed perfectly -Atmosphere and restaurant interior is beautiful and cozy -Quality far exceeded the cost Recommendation - Grilled chicken sandwich on gluten free bun, with fries. If you haven’t been to Florence & The Spice Boys at The Landings since Chef Michelle Wolforth has been at the helm, this has to be your next dining destination! Every item on Chef Michelle’s menu is a true gastronomic experience. Each dish is thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented. The harissa roasted carrots, perfectly cooked octopus, and curry mussels were absolutely extraordinary!! The gluten-free pita was also outstanding! This elevated culinary experience was complimented by a wonderful staff in an aesthetically beautiful interior. The food, the service, and the vibe are unsurpassed. Thank you, Chef Michelle!!

The fish here is so fresh and delicious and they have very generous portions. The server was knowledgeable about allergies and was able to put together a blackened hogfish plate without gluten. My nephew got an ahi tuna sandwich and it was a huge portion of tuna for the price. Very tasty place for a quick bite.

In a town with a lot of great breakfast options this is one of my favorites. Super fresh, gluten free options, great omelettes and the hash brown casserole is amazing. All the staff is really nice. Angie waited on us today and she was lovely. Checked on us often but not too much! She made sure we had lots of ice tea and everything else we needed. We’ve never been disappointed at this cafe!
