Gluten free options for breakfast!
This place is amazing. I loved the regional sourcing for many od their food items.
The ambiance was wonderful and service excellent! The menu is quite extensive. Coffee was very good. A top choice if you are in Keene especially for breakfast.
Unlike some low IQ reviewers (Brooke), I realize that restaurants will sometimes run out of high demand items and that doesn’t warrant a 1 star review. I tried 2x to get the gluten free tenders and finally on my third try I was able to get them! They were definitely worth the wait for me and my messed up celiac stomach! Fries and sauces were great as usual.
For future reference everyone, you make the review AFTER you eat the food you so desperately need to talk about.
We had our company Christmas party at Fireworks on Saturday night, and everything was perfect. From the planning stage to wrapping up everything was seamless. Lauren and Adam along with our waitress made everything so easy. We never had to search for someone as they were very attentive to our needs, the food was awesome (even the kids approved), they took our gluten allergy very seriously and the presentation was lovely. We are already wanting to book or next year. :)
Cute spot with some semi-unique ingredients (as a southerner returning to New England after two decades, anyway) on the menu, as well as creative cocktails and gluten-free options! Server was very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was comfortable.
The servings of french fries were hot, salty, and very generous. My grilled cheese was cooked perfectly and very tasty. My wife said the milkshake was delicious The french fries are gluten free and the server seemed knowledgeable about gluten-free issues and celiac disease.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great food. Keene doesn’t have a lot of variety in cuisine so it’s really awesome to have a place serving Jamaican fare. As a vegetarian they had great options as well plus I noticed some gluten free menu items.
Perfect place for breakfast in Keene. The braised short rib breakfast bowl was so delicious (and gluten free) and we also tried an egg sandwich on GF bread. The GF bread was much better than anticipated, the cashier made it clear that they were not a completely gluten free facility but would add a note to our order for the kitchen to take extra precautions with cross contamination which was nice. Oh, and the frozen chai was also great!
I sat at the bar, ordered a drink, and got the gluten free enchiladas, while the food was delivered relatively quickly for how busy and understaffed they were.
The enchiladas were very small and the sauce tasted like it belonged on a pizza instead of enchiladas, completely wrong spice base. That said, it was still delicious, however the rice and beans were completely flavorless.
My drink was very good, I had never tasted a black cherry margarita before, and if in the area I'd probably come back for this item alone.
The waitstaff at the bar, while short staffed and completely overwhelmed by the influx of patrons for an event the city was running were all very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Cannot say enough about how the bar staff handled themselves while customers, who arrived after me, were rude beyond belief, yelling in their face for things out of their control, such as the speed of the kitchen, to staff that weren't even their waitstaff but simply because they worked there. Very professional staff.
Had the pleasure of eating Jared’s delicious food last night for a tasting, my daughter is getting married in the Spring and we hired Missing Link Fine Foods to cater. We tasted 10 different hors d’oeuvres and all were fabulous!
Can’t wait for the entree tasting!
He offered many gluten free and dairy free options as well, they did not lack on flavor. Yum!
We popped in for lunch while visiting the kids in school. Great welcoming atmosphere, the staff/server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We appreciated the insight for a gluten free diner in our party. One of the owners passed through the dining room, checked in and gave us a bit of the great story that allowed this place to be.
The menu had an option for everyone, the burgers were deeee-licious! The sauces finger licking good while dunking sides and pouring over bbq. The brisket was excellent! You’ll have to ask yourself where the idea of the ‘The Hot King’ came from… Trust them, it really is good!
We so enjoyed our meals, the 5 of us easily agreed to ‘Buy a Round for the Kitchen!’
We will definitely return knowing it will be a great meal when we do.
