I knocked off a star because the menu was not labeled as to what options could be made gluten free, and our server didn’t give complete information as to what options could be made gluten free either. My experience at La Bohemia was mostly positive, but to be honest, it became an unforgettable experience due to the excellent service. We had Anna as our server, and I rarely leave reviews where I mention people by direct name, but I think it’s truly important to note how absolutely on top of everything she is. I have celiac’s disease, and not only was she accommodating, she knew everything on the menu that would or wouldn’t be safe for me to eat. She was extremely patient, and kind which is not always my experience with servers at other restaurants when I have this disease. Although I do wish there were more food options for me, Anna made the experience truly wonderful and easy to navigate. Ultimately, she went above and beyond and I hope she is recognized for that.
