This is such a special place. It was my second time coming, we were 5 and just about got the whole food menu. Default everything is gluten and dairy free. You don’t need it here. The service in very good from the host to all of the staff serving. You can really tell how proud the staff is of this restaurant, it just lights up in each of them and it’s so warming to see. The food is incredible. All kinda of unique flavors that wow you. The menu changes (not sure how often- seasonally maybe?) and our fav this time was the duck. Honestly a must go restaurant for a fun experience. Thank you Kann what all of the passion put into this. I’m so glad I get to tell people about this incredible restaurant. It’s truly such a fun experience.
these people know what they are doing! everything is well marked and dedicated GF fryer. kind and thoughtful staff. we make a special trip to Portland, just to get the fried chicken here.
The owner makes everything in house, down the mustard and ketchup. Each item is incredibly flavorful and custom. All items are clearly labeled with allergens, and there is a dedicated GF fryer. I have celiac disease and am very sensitive, I had no problems eating here. Highly recommend trying a mix of everything by way of the sides! Hands down best GF meal we’ve had out in Portland!
Absolutely amazing food! The burger was awesome the fries were on point. The chicken tenders were a little over cooked but lots of variety for gluten free options. The Marionberry lemonade is on point! I will definitely be back. Delicious food and great service! They even have an outdoor eating area.
So, uh, I'm not gluten free, but some of my best friends are, and this place is just perfect. Crispy, seasoned tenders, no gluten, great fries, killer slaw, just the total package and it's awfully close to Raising Cane's quality. But you can have it with a beer outside and go get carne asada fries after. You want this. Don't keep your side chicks a secret.
Not my 1st time BUT stayed till l8 2 play TRIVIA w my friend and her hubby!
My friend LOVED LOVED LOVED the gluten free choices and the Gluten Free Beer!
Fabulous Dessert and champagne. Wish the dinner menu had a few more options, but what they did serve was good and I was happy to see Gluten free dessert on the menu. Very nice service
We have frequented this pizza place for years and not had any problems until Fathers Day 2025. Found a piece of hair in the gluten free pizza which we could sorta excuse, however the next day when placing the leftovers in the oven for reheating we discovered that there were two different colored and very long pieces of hair under the toppings of the gf pizza. That my friends is inexcusable and seems absolutely preventable. Thoroughly disappointed and disgusted now.
I had a food orgasm - after getting a tattoo next door I found this place open until 1 am! And got a no.5 with gluten free bread and I swear to the gods this is the best mfing sandwich I've ever had. Gonna be my food after tattoos for the rest of forever. Thanks y'all
I wish I could give TOAST 10 stars. This quiet little place is a major find and a major win for my wife and I. We love it for so many reasons. Amazing food with little excellent twist on classic dishes. The gluten-free options are plentiful and delicious as well. The drinks are a happy surprise as they offer spirits. The sweet people that greet us, serve us, get to know us, are simply delightful. We never have a bad experience. They also have outdoor seating. Looking forward for our next visit. Thank you.
Absolutely loved this place! Many gluten free options. The service is great and the food is delicious! I highly recommend the yellow curry and drunken noodles!
We had truly one of the worst customer service experiences ever at this place. We had the rudest waitress. Our large party called ahead of time to request to go over the normal allowed limit. Our request was approved but the waitress who had us was PISSED at our table size despite us being kind customers. She scoffed at two of us for asking for gluten free options. At the end, our group organizer asked her if we had upset her and she said “ACTUALLY yes, you are breaking our table size rule” and went off about it, then told us she wouldn’t continue taking care of us and we had a switch off of servers. The whole table was appalled. We ordered plenty of dishes with a large check and were friendly. Our two families will never recommend this place because of this waitress
Can you be a member of the clean plate club and still have some left to take home? Their mango curry is delicious and something I haven’t had before. Thai spot is so friendly and accommodating. They can make lots of things on the menu gluten free and dairy free
Tonight was an awful experience. My order was wrong twice. I ordered corn tortilla tacos and got flour. I’m gluten intolerant so I had to send it back which I hate to do. When the corn tacos came back they were the wrong tacos. I seriously hate to complain, and had to ask the server to just take it off the bill since it was too late and I didn’t want to have to have them remake again. The manger OJ came back and wanted to prove us wrong. And argued with us and said that we were wrong when even our sever admitted the original order was flour tortillas. I understand accidents happen and I wasn’t upset I just didn’t want to pay for something I couldn’t eat. OJ is extremely unprofessional and rude. Matador use to be one of my favorite restaurants and after tonight I won’t be back. The way OJ handled the situation was completely out of line.
Great ambiance | Great Service | Delicious
Wow, it was our first time coming here. The whole aesthetic/ atmosphere is beautiful. I loved the colors and textures used. It’s very clean and organized. We were greeted and seated quickly.
Our waitress was great and tended to our needs. We ordered miso soup, edamame, salmon flight sashimi, chicken skewers, Sapporo miso ramen without egg and gluten free noodles, and green tea. Miso soup was excellent and served at perfect temperature. Not salty and the seaweed was thicker than other places. They give more edamame than most places too! The Salmon sashimi was delicious and beautifully presented. The Sapporo Ramen was delicious! That broth was so good, not salty! Highly recommend this one, and if you want to add some spice, you can request the spicy version. The pork slices were perfect with not too much fat but full of flavor. Loved that the toppings were the right amount so that when you’re down to eating noodles, you still have enough corn and sprouts with every bite.
We will be back. This is a great lunch and dinner spot in a good location.
Deserving of all its accolades, Coquine is fantastic.
Located in an Arts and Crafts storefront, the atmosphere is unpretentious while tasteful and refined. Very well thought out. The attached market has some chef knives to drool over.
Our dinner started with some of the best oysters I have ever had, perfectly shucked and presented. Followed with a lovely beet salad then a lovely carrot soup with Dungeness crab. Again, the preparation of the crab was perfect.
We moved on to the roast chicken, making good on the principle that if the waiter recommends the chicken, get the chicken!
Can't speak to the other meat options, but the chicken is really good.
Speaking of meat, the menu is annotated for both vegan and gluten free dishes.
We were pretty full, but the meyer lemon tart was a perfect ending.
We're huge fans of Montelupo in our house. The pizza is delicious. Love the different flavors they offer. I do wish the gluten free had a bit more sauce and cheese, like the simple red. The radicchio salad is delicious. We do miss the market now that it's moved over to Monty's but we can just pop over there, and now try their new restaurant for dinner. :)
A very memorable birthday dinner! This is a fine dining experience first and foremost. Though I usually do have some dietary limitations (gluten, egg, dairy) I could pretty much ignore my usual vigilance because of their inclusive yet refined, elegant, and unique menu preparation. They also made it easy to share our plates amongst all of us. I’m aware that their menu will change as the available produce changes with the season, but the carrots with the black tahini sauce, and the roasted cabbage were both standouts. I don’t often get to dine like this, but I will return as often as possible.
I was introduced to The Mont this past month by a good friend, who has now made The Mont his go-to brunch choice, and was totally impressed with the taste and quality of their food! So, I decided to pass along the introduction to another good friend, and we both were smiling with each bite! Here is a pic of The Mont's Mediterranean Scramble with gluten free bread.
Been here several times and each time it’s been a great experience. Family-run, great service, fun anime vibes (tastefully pulled off), and most importantly, really really good food. Love that it’s so easy to get everything gluten-free, too. Sanji would be proud.
Haven't been in years and it surpassed my expectations! Food was fantastic! Love the vibe (lumpy booths and all). We will be back.
Great spot for a little later dinner.(Was open till 11pm on Saturday night).
Has Gluten Free options. I recommend the southern style collard greens (has Vegan too) as they are the best Ive had! Jambalaya great too!
She delivered delicious organic, FRESH, local food that was generous in portion sizes. 10 out of 10 would use her catering service again! She can provide gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and omnivore, with optional chicken and wild caught shrimp.
Picked up late night takeout after a show and it was fresh and tasty. Great value, which is code for “huge portions “ enough for another meal. Only suggestion is identifying gluten free options- as a celiac ordering out is always scary with cross contamination- but knowing that ingredients are GF is helpful (I.e. no soy sauce or flour). No reaction with the yellow curry 😃
A little pricey for the portions. Curry was good but fried rice was so greasy. They cook with canola oil which I don’t like to eat so probably wouldn’t go again (even though it says non GMO canola oil 🤔). Service was good and efficient and I like that they can make items gluten free, I always appreciate a labeled menu with allergens
Great variety of food, all of which has been delicious, and the prices are excellent. Vegan options, gluten free options, dairy free options, and meat options. Something for everyone. On top of that, the owner is incredibly nice. We will continue to eat here :)
Recently enjoyed HH on the gorgeous patio with friends! The food was wonderful! (Allergy friendly menu - gluten free, dairy free, etc), they have a great mocktail/zero proof drink options as well as beer/wine/cocktails/liquor.
Gluten free cauliflower substitute instead of noodles. Also, vegan cheese, for the dairy free people in your life. recommend brussel sprouts with aioli sauce. SUPER YUM!
Found this place by accident (hungry, picky teens and a quick Google search for "restaurants near me") There was something for everyone. Great charcuterie and cheese board for my husband and I (with gluten free accomodations) and entrees for the kids. Service was a bit on the slow side, but we weren't in a hurry.
My favorite coffee shop in town. Pastries and bakes are delicious, they also have gluten free options .

This place is a Portland staple! Amazing vegan and gluten free options make me feel like I’m not missing out.
Plus they’re always super friendly. While a lot of food is just made, this stuff is made with love and soul.
Great pizza, we had two signature pizzas from them the BBQ Chicken and breakfast pizza both made vegan and they were both delicious. The cart caters to vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free eaters. This place is definitely worth stopping at.
Fantastic gluten free hand pies and cute outdoor seating area

I come to Wayfinder every time I visit Portland from Los Angeles, and it’s easy to see why - Wayfinder is a great combination of delicious food and craft beer in Portland, and I strongly recommend you dine here for their top notch quality and service. They have plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, both of which are great atmospheres for hanging out while enjoying a beer and/or meal.
I strongly recommend the Double Burger ($16) with doubles of Creekstone Farms Chuck & Ribeye burger patties, along with lettuce, onion, pickle, and their “Not So Secret Sauce.” It comes with cheese but if you’re lactose intolerant they can remove that cheese for you and it will still be delicious. While you can get a single patty version, I recommend getting the double patty with their side salad. Although the side salad is simple, it’s fresh, refreshing, and also scrumptious.
They also have the best gluten free buns I’ve ever tried, and it really made my burger experience much more enjoyable and delicious. As you can see in the picture, I was in burger heaven after the first bite.
Rob was our server and he is is extremely personable and hilarious. I hope that he is my server every time I come back because his customer service and hospitality were top notch. He went above and beyond and even found out that their gluten free buns are by Udi’s when I had questions about them, and he was also very knowledgeable about their existing menu.
First time in and probably last unfortunately. I think there was a miscommunication but I think my notes were clear.
I ordered several dishes for 3 ppl. In the notes for the poke bowl I wrote “gluten free dairy free egg free and no spice in this dish please” and that dish had some spice and maybe they made the entire order to follow these instructions because we didn’t get any regular soy sauce. When I showed up to pick up the guy was very attentive and asked about the GF and asked how much GF soy sauce I wanted and chopsticks. So I figured it’s all good because he was so attentive and on point. But we didn’t get any regular soy sauce or wasabi at all. And my roll which was supposed to be spicy, was not. so all in all it was kind of bland.
Only based on one visit so I give 3 stars.
Really enjoyed our dinner here. You order at the counter and they serve you at your table. Service was prompt.
One of us has celiac, and they were able to provide gluten-free pasta cooked in separate water. The staff at the counter described which other dishes could be prepared gluten-free.
The roasted beets appetizer was excellent, had a nice horseradish tang to it.
The pork belly mac and cheese was phenomenal.
Will definitely be returning!
Awesome selection of options! And every cart I've tried has had unique and yummy menus. I have an allergy to gluten, so it's hard to find enough options for me sometimes, but not here! Superb gluten-free waffles are rare as unicorns unless you go to Smaaken! Want a slightly different twist on California rolls? Fantastic Indian food? Thai? Vegetarian/Vegan? No problemo, come right here!
Cool music, sweet bathroom art. I really enjoyed the wings. They tasted fresh and weren’t over cooked. Nice staff, most are dressed up for Halloween. I’d come again for sure. Wings are gluten free which is a plus for many people.
