We had an amazing experience here. I am a coeliac, so the gluten free dedicated meniu was a blessing, with a lot of great options to choose from. I had the prawns fajita, a very tasty and generous portion size. Because it was our first time, we received a desert for free. I would love to come back and try other dishes.
The service was very fast but the place was packed so it was a bit chaotic but I guess not a lot can be done about that. The breakfast sandwich on a gluten-free and the Zoe sandwich were fantastic.
I had a delicious "gluten friendly" pizza. The crust is made without wheat, but the prep area and oven are shared, so depending on your sensitivity level it may not work for you.
We were blown away by the entire night. The gluten free and dairy free macarons were the cherry on top. My fiancé rarely gets to have desert at restaurants.
My waiter was amazing. I was worried about finding something gluten free and dairy free. He happily suggested something for me and substitute items to fit my diet needs. Delicious food. Wonderful wine.
Incredible poke bowls, and I love that I can build my own! Soooo many gluten free options, so a lot of choice. Some cross-contamination so be careful to say you’re gluten free if you’re sensitive, coeliac or allergies so they can take care of you.
I really enjoyed zesty mango with my seared tuna, absolutely perfect texture to the fish. Was busy on a Wednesday lunchtime, but queue moved quickly! Love that there are forks as well as chopsticks available. For vegetarians, they have tofu and even a no protein bowl option!
Absolutely loved the flavours and I cannot wait to go back.
There was plenty of seating inside and loads of comfy seats just outside in the foyer, and extra bonus for animal lovers - FOB is in the basement of a dog friendly office building so lots of dogs in the foyer. One customer collected their order with their Shiba Inu in tow, so seems like it’s a dog friendly poke bar too.
A sign said “ask about our gluten free mac and cheese” and I did - and I was not disappointed! It was a five minute wait, but it was worth it. Cooked to perfection, the cheese sauce was divine. I thought there wouldn’t quite be enough sauce, but it was the perfect amount. Gluten free pasta can be very cardboard-like, but this was good, soft but not overdone. I went for 8oz which was a small-ish portion but filled me up, perfect size for a small lunch on the go. There weren’t many seats free to sit down and eat, which is a shame, but standing bench was fine. Service was great.
LOVED our lunch here today. It was our first time in Bellevue and I was on the hunt for a gluten free offering. This place ticked all my boxes. The gentleman working was so incredibly lovely. When I told him I was gluten free, he got me some veggies so I’d have something to try their vinaigrette with (vs pita). Both of our meals were so delicious. Definitely one of our best meals on this vacation.
Tasty food, awesome service, and incredible gluten free alternatives. I can't wait to come back! Don't miss the truffle fries - what a hidden gem those turned out to be!
The Queen Bee pizza was delicious, and the prosecco we had was to die for. 100% recommend!
We came here for brunch since reviews and Google said they had a weekend brunch, but we were disappointed to find out they no longer do brunch. We got a burger and a fried chicken sandwich instead which were both pretty good. Big portion sizes. Glad they offered a gluten free bun but it fell apart a little. The strawberry mint lemonade was also quite refreshing and it was nice to be offered a free refill.
Absolutely skip this place. Especially if you have a food allergy. We came to eat here with our family and my toddler daughter had a snack in her hand that they told us she is not aloud to have in the restaurant because of outside food and they are worried about “allergies”… amazing because they also did not have a kids menu!
Ironic because we just left and I have a bad reaction to my meal that was supposed to be gluten free. My husband who is not gluten free also does not feel well after eating here.
Everything else about our experience was bad too starting with the service, taste of food and quality of ingredients. Just don’t come here there are so many other amazing restaurants around.
Ruben and Miguel were both amazing! I have very severe celiac disease and they were very attentive and made sure we were all taken care of. Ruben came out from the kitchen multiple times to check on my meal and also prepared some meats separately for me. The food was so good and our kids loved the atmosphere with the market table to get food. We would highly recommend dining here!
