Amazing gluten free options! And not just a bun substitute or fries - (although the fries were pretty tasty- bonus that they have a dedicated gluten free fryer!) I tried the gluten free fish and chips as well as the fried calamari and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the batter was. The tartar sauce was delicious- not sweet, very tangy which I love! And the calamari was cooked perfectly- delicate texture and not a single piece was rubbery! The fish was crispy on the outside and wonderfully flaky on the inside. Will definitely be back to try their gluten free fried chicken sandwich next!!!
Excellent seared duck breast. The French onion soup was good but unremarkable. We couldn't figure out what was "wrong" with the focaccia bread until we realized it was gluten free - dry and dense. Desserts were excellent. On the whole, a good dining experience and worth another shot
Lots of great gluten free options! I have celiac and i have never had a reaction from here! Their frier is all gluten free and they will change gloves if requested.
I found out about this place on Happy Cow and man was it great! The menu is very diverse, the portion sizes are huge, there are lots of gluten-free options, the prices are very reasonable for what you're getting, and the service and ambience are wonderful. It's no wonder why they've won Best of the Pacific Northwest honors at least twice. Even the meat eaters would be highly satisfied. I can't wait to come back!
It's a very cool place to eat. The food is good and the staff are super friendly. My family loves to hit it up when in Spokane. Great gluten-free options, fantastic breakfasts. It's always worthwhile for a place to eat.
I had the ahi which was great. The artichoke spinach dip had a nice flavor (order bread the crackers were fine but bread would be better), the peach 🍑 lemonade was delicious...then the surprise. I took home the mushroom tortellini and had it later for dinner and the flavor was AMAZING! My daughter loved her salmon too. The have so many options for vegan & gluten free diets as well!
John Paul was an amazing server that went above and beyond to make our experience fun and memorable. He is a kind human who made us feel special and this really meant a great deal because my friends and I met for my birthday. We love the location and the food, but seriously Twigs is lucky to have John Paul on their staff. Thank you! I also appreciate that they have a vegan and a gluten free menu upon request.
Love the food and the people. Great options for Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan folks.
Would be perfect if there was a changing table in the bathroom for little ones!
The restaurant has not had a deep clean in an abysmal amount of time. The slats of the blinds were sticky, greasy and dusty. The floor had food ground into it from previous guests but it was not presenting as clean, with a mess. It just looks and feels grimy.
Service was lovely, friendly and quick. Our gluten-free folks were confident their food was safe because our server understood their needs and made sure everything was correct. Food was standard Red Robin fare, hot and consistent.
Honestly, I was pretty disappointed, we picked Hatch because we saw that they had an allergy aware menu as our family has some gluten and dairy allergies.
The automatic 20% gratuity means that everyone checked out and couldn't care about doing their job, or trying their best.
We waited a long time for any service, even though we were some of the only people in the restaurant, we eventually ordered everything all at once, once the server introduced herself.
Thankfully, our server understood the allergies, and we didn't have any allergy issues (which is the reason for the second star)
Everything else was terrible, and not worth the effort or the price.
The food was lackluster, the rice was overcooked and under seasoned, the meat was under seasoned, chewy, and super greasy. The service was terrible and I would have 100% considered not tipping at all I was so disappointed, and then to find out that I automatically tipped 20% was a pretty frustrating.
Won't be returning.
We love this place! It is our go-to choice when people are in town. Options enough to be loved by everyone. Gluten-Free (✔️) Vegetarian (✔️) Food is consistently delicious. Service is always great.
At Ellensburg Casta Co. you will be met by friendly staff that greet you. The staff will bring you freshly baked bread fresh garlic to spread on it which is delicious. The menu is nice sized but not overwhelming. They feature a gluten-free menu as well. The pasta sauce is a deep red and nice and thick and a little on the sweet side of sauces. The pasta is cooked perfectly. The parking is on the street as well.
We were looking for a place just like this for our meeting- lovely service, decent food, and the ability to chat without a lot of interruptions. Gluten free waffles sealed the deal! It wasn't the best food I've ever had but it did the job and we had a lovely meeting.
The food was delicious and the portions were huge!!! The atmosphere was hectic even early in the Sonday morning. But I will recommend here for a quick breakfast. Also tons of vegetarian and gluten-free options!!
I've eaten here several times and my boyfriend always has issues, not enough sauce, the ajou is watered down, service is slow, etc. BUT my meals are pretty good. The gluten free tots are my favorite. Crispy and salted just enough. The burgers, rueben, and rib tips are good. So I'm giving 1 star less because of my picky boyfriend and how unhappy he becomes during meals here. I do agree that service takes too long to give the check and/or return to the table during the meal.
Saranac Public House – Spokane, WA
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Saranac. I was dining with someone who has celiac, and we had zero issues finding great gluten-free options. The team did an awesome job.
I ordered the chicken wings with gochujang sauce (not gluten-free), and we shared the steak and potatoes appetizer, Thai chicken flatbread, and mac and cheese. All had gluten-free versions available and were outstanding. The flavors were bold, the portions generous, and the service was top-notch.
Also, happy hour is available all day on Sundays, which was a great bonus.
Great food, plenty of GF options, and excellent service. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure.
Pretty disappointing experience. They were almost completely out of everything gluten free, even though they have an advertised gluten free menu, which was one of the main reasons we chose to eat here.
We decided to stay and eat anyway, and ordered our food. When we received our food it was extremely cold, and yet the steak I ordered was extremely overcooked.
All things considered, we likely won’t be back, and you should probably avoid eating here also, unless you want to be really disappointed.
This place runs like clockwork! I do not know who organizes and hires but they do an amazing job. No one is lazy here and they work as a team. I wish I could have this where I work! Oh and the food is great AND they have amazing gluten free bread! It is loud because of the room so be aware if that bothers you.
Wonderful service, lots of gluten-free and vegitarian options. Several dishes can be made vegan.
I recommend going to their site and being added to the reservation list on weekends. We did that before leaving home (it said it was a 45 min wait for a table) and by the time we arrived the table was almost available!
Staff are super friendly and helpful. Portions are MASSIVE!
We love it here. My family and I are regulars here especially my father and everyone here is always so friendly and helpful. My mom has a few restrictions with food she can’t gluten and dairy and they are always so accommodating. We will continue to come. The food is always spot on! Thank you for always being kind to us.
This is my go-to restaurant whenever I'm on Queen Anne. The owners are so kind and funny, and the employees seem to really enjoy working there. As a former server and manager of a restaurant, this matters so much. I got the spicy green juice, loved it. The French lentil bowl with a poached egg, incredible. And split the gluten free cinnamon roll with a friend, be still my heart. Literally everything is delicious and you leave feeling light and glowy from the good vibes of the food, atmosphere, and sense of community.
Love this spot, its great to eat at while shopping at mall. They have a gluten-free menu and the staff is attentive in kitchen to do their best to avoid cross contamination.
Autumn M was amazing! I taste tested beer, my mom is a gluten free person and my dad is allergic to flavor, and she put up with all of us with a smile and fun attitude that is contagious. The food was amazing! She suggested the chicken BLT, and I do now too! Overall it was awesome and will be returning

We had an amazing experience here. I am a coeliac, so the gluten free dedicated meniu was a blessing, with a lot of great options to choose from. I had the prawns fajita, a very tasty and generous portion size. Because it was our first time, we received a desert for free. I would love to come back and try other dishes.
Super fun place, great patio. Michelle was so fun and welcoming. Low FODMAP diet options like pineapple, olive oil, mozzarella, and tomato with gluten free crust. They also have vegan cheese! Wish they had plant based meat options. My husband got the Outlaw and said it was great!
Server was very knowledgeable and helpful. Made great suggestions and we were able to enjoy Gluten Free burgers without getting sick from contamination. Thank you so much!
Almost turned the car around for a second helping! So absolutely fabulous. GLUTEN FREE WAFFLE CONES = OMGODDESS! Vegan scoops were crazy good and I'm pretty much the opposite of vegan. Seriously CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRY with FUDGE SWIRL in a COCONUT-based ice cream. This was perhaps the best ice cream experience I've ever had.
Everything we had was very yummy! I’m vegetarian and gluten free, so it was awesome that they had both options readily available. The farmers soup was tomato bisque and it had great flavors! My boyfriend had the Mac and cheese and he said it was better than Beecher’s Mac and cheese, so you know it’s pretty good! We also enjoyed the potato wedges. We’ll be back!
Overall pretty tasty food. I found the biscuit to be good, especially for a gluten free biscuit. The gravy was also good. And for ~$10 it was a decent breakfast option.
Dining partner had the regular biscuit and gravy and preferred the gluten free mushroom gravy.
Seating is outside and kind of difficult to find. You have to hover awkwardly. You have to show your id to get the food.
If you need a quick snack while in the area I’d check it out, if you are looking to get breakfast and spend some time then I’d skip it.
DO NOT ORDER THEIR GLUTEN FREE BUNS OR THE STEAK BOWL!!!!!!!
This is the third time I've ordered a chicken sandwich in a gluten free bun. I ordered it online and left my house immediately. I live around the corner. For the third time the bun has disintegrated. The while sandwich just collapses in my hands. If i am paying $19 for a sandwich ($2 extra for gluten free bun + $17 sandwich), I want to eat it like a sandwich. It is the most frustrating thing. Three times is too much. Also, the portions have gotten smaller, way smaller. My husband always gets the streak bowl. This time his portion was ridiculously small. It was half the normal amount but yet charged the full $24. In 2022 the food, the quality, and portions were amazing. In 2025 not anymore. Prices are way too high for their gas station quality food. Another thing, again portions. The portion of the side of fruit for a kids meal was a joke. I thought my kid already ate some, but nope. 1/4 of the tiny small cup was filled with fruit.
DO better. Or lower your prices to truly reflect your small portions.
On a recent trip to downtown Arlington for my daughter's SAT exam, I discovered Stilly Diner, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.
I chose a traditional breakfast, and it was delicious. The sausage and bacon were perfectly cooked—not too salty—allowing the flavors to really shine. The hashbrowns tasted homemade, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like a comforting meal from your kitchen.
One of the best parts of my visit was meeting some wonderful people. While I waited for my food, I chatted with a lady outside who loved the diner’s gluten-free options, and she mentioned her husband found the corned beef delicious. I also spoke with a guy next to me who works remotely as a frontend programmer and comes to the diner often—his stories added to the welcoming atmosphere.
To top it all off, someone at a table behind me unexpectedly paid for my meal before leaving. Maybe they got charmed about me working hard on my laptop while easting in the corner on a Saturday morning! I made sure to tip generously to spread the good vibes to the wonderful servers.
Overall, Stilly Diner is a true gem in Arlington. With great food, friendly faces, and a sense of community, my first visit was truly memorable. I can’t wait to return!
I saw this place had high reviews and was so pleasantly surprised to learn that they have a huge selection for gluten free folks! I had their clam chowder (yes! It’s GF and amazing!!) and the crab melt on the best GF toasted bun! The staff was super friendly, the place was clean and they had great music that wasn’t too loud. I was able to sit and work for an hour or so and it was perfect! I will be going back for sure!
