Just had an amazing experience at Selia Bar and had to share! The entire place is 100% gluten free, which was such a relief — no need to worry about cross-contamination at all. It’s so refreshing to be able to choose anything from the menu without second-guessing or stressing.
There were so many delicious options to pick from, and everything we tried was fantastic. Our server, Erick, was absolutely wonderful — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better with his thoughtful service.
If you’re looking for a safe and genuinely enjoyable place to eat out, I highly recommend Selia Bar. I left feeling full, happy, and totally at ease.

Good food and great service. Definitely the best option for celiac and gluten free in the calgary airport. Prompt service and a great relaxed atmosphere it was a highlight in an otherwise very delayed trip.
Picked up a gluten free lunch today, $30 for 1 meal is kinda ridiculous. I got pasta with the burger and it was an added $8 up charge to get a small portion of gross pasta. The pasta was horrible, very clearly reheated (not well) and definitely a day or 2 old. I could have made Kraft dinner that tasted better than their barely reheated pasta. I don’t know if they changed chefs but their pasta used to be amazing. Very disappointing
Quick service. Gluten free can be accommodated. I recommend stating that it’s an allergy. I said I was gluten intolerant, instead an allergy, and got glutened. I have never been glutened when I said it was an allergy. Their Dagwood is my favorite sandwich.
Emily was incredibly kind and attentive! She made sure my food was completely safe for my celiac disease and double-checked everything with care. I really appreciated her support and attention to detail.
What an amazing meal we enjoyed! I am on a strict Paleo/diabetic diet and I can tell when a meal is not right. Many restaurants will provide very blend food when they hear of my gluten free, dairy free, legume free, Corn & soy free, canola free, without root vegetables, nothing raw, and my list goes on & on. I needed either cooking with beef tallow or 100% olive oil.
Even though I forgot to make reservations ahead of the day, the kitchen was able to provide an amazing meal. Nevertheless, I would recommend making reservations ahead so the kitchen can be ready for such strict dietary guidelines.
Food manager Kiersten was confident the kitchen could provide me with a scrumptious meal that fit my diet. And Earls delivered what was promised! From the first to the last, I was enjoying every bite as an amazing treat!
I’d been in the restaurant previously and the noise level was very uncomfortably loud. But this time, the noise level was moderate, helping us with our conversations. I will definitely be back with other friends!

Went to this place with a friend specifically for gluten free drinks and food they advertised. After pointing to every gf tagged item on the menu and told "no sorry that can't be made gluten free" we paid our bill and left.
I had a rather frustrating experience at this location today. I have a gluten allergy and specifically called ahead to verify there were multiple menu items that I would be safe to eat. Over the phone I was assured there were many options. When I was there today with a group of friends, I found out my options were extremely limited. My server did do her diligence to check what would be available for me and it was suggested the artichoke and spinach dip. She then returned apologizing saying that the chips that came with it were not actually gluten friendly. In the end all I ended up with was a salad. The salad was tasty, but the options available were very disappointing when I specifically called to verify, and then to be told I could have something, then told wait no, never mind was frustrating. If you are celiac I would be cautious about dining here.
This is my favorite place to go for a quick delicious lunch or snack. Delicious and unique flavor combinations, and their sandwiches always hit the spot.
There is gluten free bread, but I don’t know if they use a separate panini press, though I’m sure if you’re willing to wait they could clean the grill if you are celiac.
Sandwiches range from $11-$15 with a can of pop for $1.25.
Highly recommend if you are in the Kensington area
Lots of choices for bread and meats, they have gluten free buns and potato buns as well. Lots of toppings and sauce choices. Gluten free buns do coat $2 more on top of your order though.
Ordered medium Turkey sub on brown. Plus two more Beef and turkey 🦃 subs. All excellent!👍 Great flavor with all the extra yummies in the middle. Not short on the meat.Whole wheat Bun is nice. Also have gluten as part of their menu if required!
Be coming back.
Keep up the amazing work and price point.!
So my fiance is a celiac, and chachis is one of her favorite places to get a gluten-free sandwich when we are out and about. The last time I was at this particular location, however, the women taking my order clearly had a hard time either understanding me or figuring out what gluten-free buns were. I don't know if she was new, or there was a language barrier, but despite asking multiple times for gluten-free buns on our sandwiches, my fiance still got glutened, as it were. Look, if you don't know what something is, ask. If you're having a hard time understanding me, get your coworkers help. Don't agree with me simply for the sake of making a sale, because now you have directly contributed to a degenerative disease. Just be more aware, so others can safely eat where they can.
Amazing! They made sure it was gluten free for me! They even used a towel to open the fridge door to prevent cross contamination. 5 stars would recommend coming here
