Either these reviews are for the non gluten free foods or I just went on an off day. I got the okra gumbo and red beans and rice, I felt like when I said gluten free they went ok no seasoning for this one. It was so bland I couldnt eat it. I was very disappointed as I was looking foward to good; safe for me to eat, food.

We went here for dinner during a bachelorette and it was lovely!! It was a great location- close to anything we wanted to do. It has options for your gluten free, vegan, or vegetarian friends as well. Tyrique was a great server. The team responsible for interior design did amazing!! It is such a cute restaurant. 🤩 The wine was a great price as well. Highly recommend the moscato. Favorite appetizers on menu: truffle fries and cheese dip!

Stopped in after work with a friend for a late lunch and had the best tuna salad sandwich *chefs kiss* My friend couldn’t stop raving about her food also. Server was fantastic and funny. Menu features gluten free options for those of us with dietary restrictions. Hope to go again!

If you've recently lost a loved one (egg, milk, gluten) then this is the place you need to try. They work magic. I don't know how they make brioche or pastry cream without eggs or dairy but they did it excellently.

I go here several times a week. Chili Avocado Toast on GF bread is a go to. Vegan scramble is great, too. Don’t miss out on the dirty lemonade! This is a great little local cafe with gf options available. I don’t have such a severe issue that I need to worry about cross contamination, so I can’t say that it’s celiac safe, but it works for me!

... and 24hrs later, they have taken the accessibility off their menu and website. Cool. All the restaurants dont care about serving anyone but the same old thing for everyone who can eat anywhere. I guess I will never go out to eat then, Ikes. ....... I got delivery. I have tons of allergies due to medical conditions, including celiac. I had no reactions and loved my food. It is wild to me how hard it is to get a sandwich I can eat from local places but I can get one here, so I'm very grateful!

I have been coming here for years with my 3 young kids for breakfast. I have celiac disease and my kids are 3, 5, and 7. Everyone is always very accommodating with my being gluten free and with the craziness of the kids. Christy M is usually our server and she is the bomb.com.

Had the Italian sandwich with potato salad and a dr pepper, Italian sandwich: 6 inch. bread was good, I asked if they have gluten free and they tried there best to accommodate, the entire sandwich was delicious, nothing overcooked and nothing undercooked, the sauce was a bit overwhelming towards the end but overall 4.5 out of 5. Potato salad: was absolutely delicious zero complaints other than wanting more. Dr pepper: large was a good size but should go with medium for the drink because it's pretty big, My total came to around 14 dollars for my part of the meal, if the price was about 2 dollars less I would come once a week, but at current would only come once a month. Customer service was great, they had a new person working front which caused it to take longer but i am of the mind everything is a teachable moment so the interaction was worth it.

I can see why Elsie’s has been a highly popular choice for locals and tourists alike! We stopped by for a hot lunch on our way to visit Mississippi. I chose Elsie’s bc they have gluten free options. I had the grilled chicken plate with red beans and rice, and broccoli. That chicken was SO dang good. I missed getting the crustless crab pie (sadly) but the chicken plate sure made up for it! Hubby had a fried shrimp platter that he said was just okay. Bathroom is a single seater but seems to have a very short wait time. Parking is behind the street and then you can pop right back out to the highway pretty easily. Our server, Mei/May, was super cute and helpful. I took home about 1/2 the red beans and rice with the remaining broccoli. It was a perfect dinner reheated! It’s got some charm and nice artwork (some even for sale). Kinda like popping in on your mom & them!

Best po’boys in “N’Orlans” by far. The atmosphere felt really homely which added to the overall experience There’s a bit of a line to order for good reason. There were a fair few NOLA locals that we met here that all said it’s been their go to lunch spot for years Gluten free options were available where they essentially just removed the bread and left the filling. I actually don’t even give it a 1 star as far as service. Coke machine produced an off tasting regular coke but that is nothing compared to the time it took to get served. We went in at 12:03 and didn’t get served till 12:40. Food tasted ok. But wasn’t delivered nicely and carefully as ours was gluten free. I didn’t see them wipe down the board or switch it out. They didn’t even change gloves.
