GLUTEN FREE!!!
very nice place, looks beautiful inside, however I ordered food take away, because I didn't have time to seat.
They have area for kids and you can come with your dog.
Food is delicious. My kids can't eat gluten, usually we had problem to go somewhere to eat, now this is game changer. we will definitely come again. Thank you.
PS. "GF Passion Fruit Semifreddo v" is delicious :)
Trying to find somewhere, dog friendly and catering for my gluten intolerance I found Nibble 🥰 My dog was made very welcome, we sat outside just because the restaurant was busy. The chocolate/raspberry brownie was delicious
Great place for fish and chips, really know what they are doing with gluten free food which is available all the time. Highly recommend them. Arrived as a customer and leave as a friend.
So many options, most of the pasta and pizzas can be made with a gluten free alternative! It also came with a gluten free label on the plate which was reassuring to see!
I was so impressed with this Nando’s and their staff. When I told them I was gluten free without any fuss the manager took my order. And then explained to me how exactly they would make it safe and gluten free. Very appreciate of not making it feel like it’s a problem or having to sign a legal waiver like in some restaurant chains.
The fact this place caters for gluten free was a winner.
Having had a choice and multitude of options this was definitely a rare treat.
Food was great and enjoyable
Sadly not long afterwards, all the effects of having had gluten happened (those who suffer will understand) ,,,
I've not felt that unwell in a long time, that evening and all of the following day I was unwell! Having had nothing else that day it comes down to the food on this occasion
Service was minimal, but it's a takeaway so can't grumble.
A shame as would of loved for this to be a frequently visited place for a treat! Hut unsure now due to having had issues.

Made reservation online but didn't get confirmation. Had to phone to confirm. When we arrived were told no gluten free bases even though informed when booking. It was our sons birthday choice to come here as it has been a fave, otherwise we would have left. My wife had to snack on a bit of side salad intead of a birthday meal. Even fries have wheat on them. Apparently bases are shipped in not made on site. Sadly very dissapointed.
Had to go to Hull Royal early for an appointment, so after that went to find somewhere to eat.Passed a few places which didn't appeal until we saw Furleys. At first look menu didn't appeal to me, but then I looked closer.Great selection, from wraps to burgers,to kebabs to,chicken and stuffing ciabatta, with roasties and gravy! What's not to like.Veggie options as well, and coeliac and gluten free options as well! This was washed down with a bottle of Peroni. However if you like craft beer and cider then this is the place to go.The list of craft beers etc is incredible! It's very dog friendly, there's a room upstairs for you to take them, there's even a menu for the dogs, ie proper dog friendly meals ( not human food in disguise) Staff extremely friendly and very very helpful.Very popular place,if visiting at a weekend be advised to book as gets busy, because so popular.Highly recommend a visit
Firstly, I love pizza express due to their excellent gluten free range. However, when I recently attended the food wasn’t edible. I ordered the new Gluten Free Spicy Chicken & Chorizo Pasta and the pasta wasn’t cooked properly, it was rock hard.
We waited 20+ minutes for our drink order to be even taken as staff were too busy talking. The environment was incredibly cold that we had to sit and eat our dinner with our coats on.
Why have I never been in Liquid Jade until today? I have no idea because it is absolute gorgeous!
To be fair, it is tucked away through a passage at the side of The Works, but it obviously has a great following as lots of customers arrived during my prolonged tea and cake break.
The main entrance into the cafe is via a short flight of steps but there is a lovely courtyard seating area which is just a few feet further on and on the level.
Decor is lovely-lots of local photographs, splashes of bright sunny yellow and colourful furniture.
The staff are lovely and service very quick.
Good to see gluten-free cake options.
I just had tea and gluten free cake but all the food looked and smelled very tasty.
Will definitely visit again.
Lovely small restaurant, authentic, looks good outside, inside gives a feel of being on holiday, food hot & swift to table, 2 starters Spinach Feta parcels, Falafel, 2 mains Spicy meatballs, Chicken skewers meal, Wow ! This was GOOD. Very pleasant staff. Cater for us Gluten Free Coeliacs. Will return. Recommend.

Came here last year whilst I was still Vegan and whilst there a few choices of food in the Trinity Market, I had my heart set on a burger and was happy to see a vegan option. And there’s quite a range of amazing burgers, both beef and chicken with Gluten Free options. There’s Dogs too and fries either your choice of spice.
A smashed chickpea burger was my choice and it came in this nicely packaged lump to hold in all the flavour. The burger was good and could have easily eaten another, not to say it wasn’t enough. It was yummy! Fries were decent too with the nice extra of having spice topped on.
The chap behind was jump was friendly, welcoming and took his job seriously and with passion. Obviously you can watch the man at work or go back and sit down and wait for your order to come ready to pick up.
Would certainly come back here again. Especially wanting to try the beef and chicken burgers.

Always my go to place for a meal out, staff are well informed about allergies and cross contamination. Their gluten free pasta is really nice and i always have a wonderful time there!
Came here on a recommendation from a friend due to my dietary needs, needing to be dairy free and gluten/egg free. Absolutely loved the food and drink, service was super friendly and helpful. I shall be back again for sure.
Appalling service, false advertisement on gluten free pizzas.
Ordered a 12” gluten free pizza which wasn’t even 10”. Absolute joke considering you have to pay an uplift for a gluten free base in the first place for it to then arrive and be half the size it should be, sliding around in the correct size box!
I contacted the restaurant showing images and just got ignored.
This chain is quickly growing into only caring about greed and profit rather than the quality of their product.
Delicious and authentic Thai food. Everything perfectly spiced with cozy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Great selection for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free people
This was the best dining experience I’ve had in Hull and East Riding for a while. The food was fresh and high quality. And our waiter Charlie was unfailingly attentive and accommodating. Good Gluten Free options too!
1st time here for a birthday celebration, and what an evening we had.. All the front of house staff were super polite, attentive and highly proffesional. The menu catered for every taste and had a good gluten free and vegetarian choice on offer too.
The food that we received was without doubt some of the tastiest, well cooked and presented food on offer today in most eateries in Hull. Compliments to the chef or chefs in El Torros for a fantastic dining experience.
Highly recommend if you haven't been and we shall definitely return..
The Food and service is always great. I don’t eat out often, but if I do, I like to come to Pho Lan and it never lets down. The owners are always accommodating, adapting dishes to be vegan and gluten free for me. I have introduced many friends and family to this little gem and no one has been disappointed 🙏
A caveat before I rant - the food here is beautiful and the restaurant itself is cracking, used to be a favourite, however last nights experience has made me and my family lose all confidence and won’t be back for a while, if ever.
My missus suffers from celiacs disease, and we rung 2-4 weeks in advance to make sure that when we came all the way from Southampton, it wouldn’t be a journey wasted. With multiple reassurances, we booked here with gluten free options available across the board.
However last night, Friday 14th Feb, valentines… they had hardly any staff in, those that were in were pulled from pillar to post and were young and inexperienced, and didn’t know what gluten allergies was nor what the options were and what was available.
Waited forever for our food, forever for our drinks, forever for service and forever for the bill. Waited that long for a waitress to take our dessert order, that we sacked off desserts all together and just asked for the bill.
A real shame that such a potentially great restaurant is being let down
I popped into Baldwin’s just before 12:00 for a cuppa and a cake. I usually eat gluten free so was very pleased to see the salted caramel brownie was gf. It was amazing!
I also had a cup of tea in a really lovely mug. Sadly no oat or soya milk.
It’s ages since I’ve been around that area of Hull so had no idea about Baldwin’s. It was light, airy, immaculately clean with colourful chairs and lots of tables.
The cafe soon started to fill up with people having lunch ( the menu looked very good!) and portions were generous.
Recommended!
