Wonderful place on the Coast to eat breakfast, excellent pastries and robust coffee, delicious. Many gluten free options too. Great place to sit inside or outdoors, and enjoy your morning. Don’t miss this, its a gem!
Jazzy piano music played as we entered and continued through most of our dinner. We were an eclectic group of carnivores, a vegetarian, a vegan and a gluten intolerant- all of pure palate were satisfied. Service was polite, professional and attentive. A few stand out items from the menu- beet caponata, thin and crisp pizza and eggplant Parmesan, ricotta cheesecake and vegan triple chocolate terrine . Everything was beautifully prepared and garnished, brought to the table in sequence at the appropriate temperature.
My husband and I were looking for a quick, gluten free dinner by the beach and I’m so happy we stumbled upon this lovely establishment. We shared a shrimp taco plate which I was delighted to see had a variety of vegetables. The guac was particularly fresh and tasty. Honestly, I couldn’t find anything wrong with the entire dish. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The establishment seems home-like. I felt as though I was at a friends house and their family member was cooking a special meal for me. Tables are close together but we didn’t mind. I believe our server was the owner and service was fantastic. We showed up 40 minutes before they closed and ate so quickly we left after 30 minutes. Also, get the sangria if you like red wine and pineapple!
We were staying in Half Moon habor and opted to try Seville Tapas. The seating is completely outdoors, dog friendly (as long as your dog is well mannered) and there isn’t a ton of shade so plan accordingly. The menu is broad and has alot of Gluten Free options. They offer gluten free bread as well, be sure to check if it’s available if this is one of the sole reasons you are coming. Some of our favorite’s were the Pinchos Morunos and the Spanish Sampler. Everything is well seasoned and came to the table at the perfect temperature. Be sure to try the Decadence Sundae it is exceptional.
Wow, what a pleasant surprise! We sat outside for lunch with kids and dog- listening to the sounds of the babbling brook. The gluten-free crust pizza was stellar and I stumbled upon the best beet salad I’ve ever had! That’s just based on taste- not even including the presentation with a smoke filled cloche! Will absolutely come back (soon) and explore the menu further ✨☀️ super chill vibe!
The salsa was just pico which like is not salsa. They did have a gluten free lime pie that was delicious. It was super busy and so we never got any refills. And had to wait over a half hour without any food even the chips and salsa . But the food was delicious. It was 52 bucks before tip for two fountain sodas 4 Street tacos chips salsa and guacamole and a slice of key lime pie
Cool historic jazz club converted to a Cafe. Great espresso drinks here, and a nice vibe. Zero gluten free food options is a negative for the many of us that require it for our health.
We ate outside with our dog, it was lovely. The menu is marked for gluten free options and they were all delicious! A very cute place to get brunch. The service was fast, the coffee was good, and it’s cute.
On a Friday we opted for a late morning hike along Half Moon Bay and stopped in here for a late lunch. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant. Loved the gluten-free options here. As the paella requires a 30 minute wait we ordered some local beers and a crab-stuffed pepper appetizer and fries. The service was friendly. The seafood paella was so tender which is difficult to do with scallop, shrimp and squid and the saffron and tomato flavor was great. Worth the wait!
A delightful, cozy, relaxed seafood forward restaurant. The fish and chips were great, and the NE Clam Chowder was fabulous (and gluten free). I accidentally ordered the Cioppino forgetting it had cous cous, and the chef personally came to me and made me a GF one (even though I made the mistake). Thanks Chef Evan - we’ll be back!
This restaurant is probably the fanciest spot in HMB. It’s a little pricey but the food is tasty! A few gluten and dairy free options. I ordered the steak (butter on the side) and the veggie paella (no cheese or cream).. it was delicious!! Perfect to share. I ordered a cocktail with Mezcal which was divine! Strong and not too sweet. I’d absolutely come back here, but it’s best to make reservations and ask to sit on the second level!! Such a prettier view than the floor level..
Great taste and large portion sizes. No gluten free bread but fine without or on a bed of lettuce. The garlic fries are covered in garlic - only get them if you love garlic.
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at It's Italia. The food was flavorful and portion size plenty. The warm goat cheese salad was very fresh as was the cheese platter. The short ribs were spectacular. Service was friendly and the restaurant was very accommodating for those who need gluten free options.
This is the second time I’ve been there. So this time I bought a gluten free dairy free cookie for my grand daughter and she loved it… they apparently make that during the weeks. The puff pastries r made on weekends only!
Highly recommend this place. Small store front with big portions and great service. My hubby had the El Patron Eggs Benedict with hashbrowns, I had the Moon Omlet with whole eggs instead of egg whites & a side of home potatoes & gluten free toast.
Every bite was splendid and we ate too much, but it's not like eggs make good leftovers and we feel bad when we waste food. We rolled out feeling fat & full 😊.
Standard Cafe, food ordered at counter. While they specifically say they are not gluten-free, you can get a breakfast plate without bread and it will be gluten-free.
The omelet was good and so were the hash browns. Service was ok, and so was the ambience. Good if you want something quick and easy.
My wife, 2 kids and I visited Ciya Mediterranean Cuisine for a quick lunch on our way through Half Moon Bay. My son and I are Gluten Free, and immediately the host gave us various options that would work for our dietary needs. Everyone was friendly and helpful and my two kids both said the food was AWESOME!!! 5 Stars for sure! Thank you!
The shop looked good but I went in and asked for gluten free options and there weren’t any. I asked for more information since it looks pretty gluten free friendly online and the staff told me they only have a few gluten free options and not all the time and they must be sold out.
I have wanted to go here for a few years and I am so glad I did. The food was delicious. I got the gluten free bun with the burger. It was very tasty. It gave a Hallmark meets beach barn vibe
