Went on a busy Saturday night and they got us in really fast. We got the green salad which was excellent. My wife is gluten free and she ordered the Hawaiian with gluten free crust and it was amazing. The red sauce was super flavorful. I got the jalapeño popper and it was also delicous.
Food tasted fantastic, loved the owner and the general vibe of the place. But if you are very sensitive to gluten, I would beware as my wife had an adverse reaction just a few hours later. Honestly, probably cross contamination, but heart breaking to have my wife puking.
Looking for a late night dinner and drinks after the hot springs? This is the place. It’s all gluten free and tastes fantastic! Drinks were on point, and had a nice chill vibe of people hanging out and playing pool.
We’ll be back the next time we visit!
Kitchen closes at midnight.
Don't let the small square footage or line to the door dissuade you...this is absolutely worth the wait. I stopped by on a whim after a long day of driving and hiking and had the best fish tacos of my life. I'm not a restaurant critic by any means, but I travel a lot for work, and I'd put this in my top three meals in the western United States...like, ever. As someone with Celiac disease, it's extremely rare to have a meal that leaves me raving, but the gentleman running the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten allergies. He offered to have the kitchen substitute grilled for fried fish and it was on-point. The corn tortillas, chips, and chile verde salsa all appeared to be house-made, and were outstanding. The flavors in the tacos were just superb; the fresh, flaky fish against pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, ripe avocado, and a spectacular vinaigrette that pulled everything together inside a warm, soft corn tortilla. I will definitely be modifying my itinerary on future road trips just to eat here again.
Our breakfast at Daily Bread was both delicious and efficiently served. My husband’s meat lovers skillet, though flavorful, was a bit dry and could have been enhanced with more cheese or a sauce. My tofu scramble with gluten-free bread was excellent, and the large orange juice, priced at $4, had the fresh-squeezed taste I love. The fruit side could have included more fruit. The homemade blackberry jam was a delightful touch. With both indoor and outdoor seating—complete with umbrellas—the atmosphere is inviting. A great spot for gluten-free diners! Our waitress seemed frazzled but she was plenty nice just in a huge hurry!
I got the salmon. It was delicious. The only complaint i have was that there wasn’t enough salad or vegetables. But Jen was great and very knowledgeable about celiac disease, which i have. We had a great experience. We ate inside.
Food was good. They offer gluten free buns and the burgers were so good. We like that they are made with grass-fed beef. They offer loaded sweet potatoes fries but not sweet potato fries baked. The regular fries were good but are unfortunately fried in canola oil. They charge a $3 up charge for shared meals. The vibe is great and the location is fun! Overall, a good place to eat and we’ll be going again.
We had an excellent dinner here! My husband enjoyed beer and a burger and I had the sirloin steak, which came with green beans, potatoes, and mushrooms. Our kids had grilled cheese and they were able to accommodate buttered cheesy noodles for my little one who didn’t want red sauce on her noodles. Service was quick and refills were prompt. A great place to have a family meal! I appreciated the gluten free menu as a person with Celiac disease!
Lovely little casual restaurant owned by Nepalese. The Paneer Makhani was creamy and full of flavor, mostly tasty gravy with big blocks of fresh Paneer. The chicken spicy vindaloo at a medium heat was very tasty, definitely did not blow my head off, and thick with vegetables and super tender chicken thigh meat. Each dish also came with jasmine rice, none of this nonsense of having to order rice separately.
We loved the onion kulcha as it was studded with red onion chunks that gave it crunch and onions goodness that was lent to the dishes we dipped it into. The whole wheat paratha was rich with butter and beautifully flaky.
Service was prompt if casual, they'll hand you your menus and let you seat yourself. I love that, but heard a few people be very surprised by that.
I heard one man ask if the pakodas were fried in their own oil or if they shared oil with other things that had wheat in them and the answer was very clear that they were fried separately. So they seem very aware of the requirements for gluten free foods.
I have celiac which makes finding food very difficult. Thankfully this establishment had some amazing options. All meats and sauces are gluten free. The brisket and vinegar based bbq sauce were amazing. If you are gluten free/ celiac I would highly recommend as an option
Absolutely fantastic. Delicious burgers, full of flavor. Options for Gluten Free to include buns and sides. Local Colorado beef from Aspen, Chicken options as well!
The gluten-free Vienna crepes were not good at all... the cream inside was not good and neither was the fruit (it's a shame to indicate seasonal fruit but to serve fruit in jars: the strawberries were very pale and all soft). Very disappointed.

I am very disappointed with Juicy Lucy's. I'm up in Glennwood for a short two day stay with my husband, daughter and my Grandson. My Grandson had horrible celiac disease and we are prepared to go whenever we travel with him. we called ahead to Lucy's, to let them know we have a celiac child that had food aversions and won't eat most steakhouse stuff and asked I'd we could bring his cheese quesidilla they said no. I was shocked, we had never had a restaurant tell us no, ever. you have three people willing to pay money for a good steak. Way too make a medically complicated kid feel less included. (I'm pretty sure it's illegal too)
My food was great. Very good quality, good cozy atmosphere. Gluten free eaters beware. Their "gluten sensitive" food absolutely destroyed my celiac friend. Do not bother if you cannot eat gluten because there appears to be nothing here for you.
While doing business in nearby Aspen, I chose to stay in Glenwood Springs where a colleague brought me here to 19th Street Diner. I've always loved the vibe of a classic diner and 19th Street diner fit that bill. Excellent service, excellent food, and awesome awesome coffee to start day on a crisp and cool early morning. We were here for breakfast and 19th Street diner delivered on all counts! Pro diner tip: If you are on a gluten free diet...order up their sour dough toast...it is legit! Give 19th Street Diner a try next time you are hankering a good, home cooked feel for breakfast or lunch.
Really great food and lots of gluten-free options. Would definitely eat here again. So many choices but only had one night. Will visit again next time I'm in Glenwood Springs.
The gluten free pancakes tasted like eating dense rice flavored sponge and they put flower on the top of the pancakes instead of powdered sugar. And it took 40 minutes for the food to come. It was the worst breakfast I have ever had!
The Pullman always delivers. my family has so many allergies, gluten-free dairy free pepper free and a nut allergy. They always take care of us without any complaints, and their food is always solid. My favorite is a steak salad, but my mom and dad branched out who are usually burger people and tried the pierogies and a steak. We really appreciate that they take the time to make sure everything is correct and their service is phenomenal. Emma took care of us the other night and she didn’t miss a beat. Thank you again and thank you for always being Phenomenal
What a great spot in town. On the second floor. Incredible service from Panji and Mar-Ju. Food was incredible. Vegan options and gluten free options were fantastic. Can’t wait to return to this wonderful establishment
We’re visiting from out of town and we’re looking for a spot to grab brunch/lunch. We saw Hugo’s had great reviews, so we gave it a try. Everything was perfect: the service, the ambiance, and especially the food! The Mexican Benedict was DELICIOUS, and my husband really loved his Chicken Caprese sandwich. We also really appreciated how they had gluten free bread as an option. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. We are so glad we chose this spot for brunch!
Great coffee shop and atmosphere. The baristas were very friendly and the food and coffee were excellent. They have a gluten free biscuit option for a breakfast sandwich which was tasty. We would definitely visit again!
Good not great. We got there with an hour and half til closing. Our server disappeared for 35 min after ordering drinks when we first got there. It took a long time to get the bar drinks we ordered. Once we got the drinks, they took and additional 10 min to come back and get our food order.
The beverage was not something I would recommend and I barely drank it, it was a bad combination and I didnt care for it. Then the food took about 20 min to come out. So we didn't have much time to eat and felt rushed. The servers were kind and a server was constantly walking around refilling water which was nice at least.
The entre meals were good, however, the rice and beans tasted very soapy. Very off putting and we didnt finish them. I would like to believe that this experience could have been better if it was earlier in the day. It was rather expensive for the food and service we recieved.
There were gluten friendly and kid friendly options available.
