We had a great lunch at Pineapples. One of my son's biggest Big Island requests was to have a drink out of a pineapple, and Pineapples was the place to go. He had the Pi-no Colada with lava flow. And I had their Pineapple Pow. Both were amazing. They also had Gluten Free options for my husband with Celiac (which is very hard to find while traveling). In the words of my 11 year old son- "Everything is amazing here. It's the best restaurant in the world. This is a definitely a 6 star restaurant. 11/10"

Great menu for dairy free, gluten free, and vegan. The kombucha is on point and above. The root beer is a bit mind blowing. Tastes like root beer without the sugary grossness. All seven that we tried were wonderful. My husband wasn't fond of the Palo Santo but I thought the flavor was really unique. The fish tacos and the chicken tinga were amazing. Bathrooms are nicely kept but please make sure to help them keep it that way by cleaning your mess.

We will definitely return to this wonderful Cafe! From the get go, it was delightful. Our server was as sweet as honeysuckle and well versed in the food choices. We loved the taro burger and the bean burger. The gluten-free bread was outstanding. A must visit!

After eating out every day for the last week on vacation, we needed to stay in with pizza and wine. I'm extremely gluten intolerant. The gluten free pizza didn't make me sick and was very tasty. Would do take out again if I come back to the area.

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT. I HAVE CELIAC DISEASE AND THIS RESTAURANT DELIVERED. The waiter was literally the most knowledgeable person ever and took so many precautions just for me. He gave me the salad as my side and I took that shrimp with mashed potato. As you can see in the photo I finished all of it in 2 seconds. It was so good. I highly suggest you visit this restaurant one time. Atmosphere was beautiful. There was a person singing. It was just great dining.

Amazing smoothies and food! Gluten free and vegan bakery options were absolutely delicious. The teenager growled like a hungry predator over his chocolate cake with vanilla icing....all gluten and dairy free!!

Absolutely amazing food, large portions for a very reasonable price, friendly staff. Gluten free items very clearly marked, just indicate upon ordering and they'll take care of it. Highly recommend!

A local suggested we try this place and we went for dinner. After about a 25 minute wait, we were seated by 6:30. Waitress was friendly and efficient although neither she nor the menu provided much guidance for gluten free options. I am not celiac so not as crucial for me but I think the boneless pork ribs had g or msg involved as these do not agree with my stomach. Sides are a choice of tossed salad, rice or macaroni. I think we all had rice and salad. Dishes ordered: stew- great; spicy siemin bowl with noodles- good; boneless ribs were flavorful but for thin cut meat it was very chewy, had lots of grizzle and much was cut off and left on the plate. Didnโt seem like ribs at all. ๐Tall glasses of water were great. Prices are reasonable.

Came here for Sunday brunch. 2 different salads was all there was for someone who needs to be gluten free. I had the house salad with shrimp (corn starch). It was fantastic.
