Firstly- it is just wonderful to have a place that has gluten free fried food. A real treat for those of us with celiac disease. Secondly, my husband loved his regular (not GF) chicken tenders salad. It was huge and he said the chicken was delicious. Lastly, I wish I could rate the GF food higher. I had the 4 piece chicken tenders meal with coleslaw as my side. The coleslaw was fresh, but very basic. It would be better with more zing- maybe just more vinegar? The chicken was hot, crispy, moist and tender and the tenders were big. I could eat only two of them. But again the flavor was a bit underwhelming. The GF flour coating needs to be seasoned with far more spices. The standard mixture of seasonings for fried chicken is paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano and cayenne along with salt and pepper. I did not taste anything but salt and pepper. Please consider adjusting the recipe. Overall, pretty good but it could be better.
Excellent food options to choose from the menu. Great place for a bridal shower or a family gathering in the Lodge Room. A gluten free menu is available. The food was delicious and exceptionally good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was similar to a lodge in the mountains. The best part of eating here was the chef made the food to your dietary needs. Overall, I will return in the near future.
Just wanted to say how terrible the gluten-free pizza was here at this location. It was greasy the crust was terrible and the waitress was even worse. My son also got his own gluten-free pizza and his was just as greasy and terrible the waitress didn’t care $21 for for tiny pieces of saturated grease do not go here if you want good gluten-free pizza. Very dissatisfied
I have a gluten allergy and Lauren double checked to make sure I had both a gluten free pita, but also croutons removed from my salad. Safe & delicious lunch spot!!
The service from Melanie and the whole staff, top notch. The gluten free waffle... the best I've had by far! Have stayed away from waffles for 2 years until the one I had this morning. A reason to go back and have them again. Thank you to the whole staff!
My daughters both have Celiac disease. Eating out is a huge risk for my them as they are extremely sensitive to any gluten (puking for 2 days straight along with a host of other issues), so we don't. However, after learning Jersey Mike's could do gluten free and then discussing my concerns with the managers, we decided to try it. The first amazing part was they could make their entire menu gluten free. This is the first time my girls have actually ordered fast food. Then having huge choice of options was just amazing. One had a bacon ranch sub (#26) and the other had a club (#8). They chowed down. I however sat in anticipation of them getting sick from cross contamination even though the staff did an excellent job of making their food separately. The worry was unwarranted. They never got sick. In fact they loved it so much, they talked their mom into getting it again the next day. I can not tell you how much this means to me to be able to give my girls a taste of what other kids get to experience every day. It is truly a blessing. Thank you so very much for providing them with safe, excellent tasting gluten free food.
Great ice cream! Love that they are inclusive of food allergies and intolerances. Always have great gluten free toppings (the oreos are the best!) and non-dairy flavors, along with a fun, unique menu!
Amazing! Portions were big, got the three tacos and oh boy it was delicious! Meats were awesome! Got the street style so good! The staff was super friendly and helpful with gluten free options. Will definitely be back. 10 out of 10
Don't think twice it's more than alright
Great service (Nicole, Gabby, kayle, Makayla)
Delicious and healthy food from the master in the kitchen
Boatload of gluten free choices too
Great value
Great vibe
Day in day out same consistent qualities
Don't think twice it's more than alright
Crispiest fries, tender gyros, extraordinary salad, fluffy rice pilaf, finish off with the warm rice pudding.
Don't think twice it's more than alright
This place is great. They usually have a variety of coffees, including flavors, so if you don't want to spend $5 on a latte, you don't have to (though if you do want a fancy coffee, they make those, too, and they're also good). They also have amazing baked goods, including gluten-free. Usually a great place to sit down, both outside and in, though right now, with Covid, they are doing orders from a window. So you might have to wait a bit more than usual, but if you're in downtown Plymouth, it's worth the wait! Highly recommend.
We had absolutely delicious food and the service from the staff was even better!!! I appreciated the gluten free option so I was able to have half of a chicken salad sandwich and chicken salad both with cherries! And Michigan cherry coffee, I bought a bag to take home. My husband loved the Potpie and had Peanut Butter pie! We will be back!!!
Really great food, wonderful drinks, great company :) I tried the king oyster tacos because how often is that on the menu? Absolutely delicious, even for the non fungi loving among you.
They accommodated my partners chicken tortilla soup to be gluten free. Atmosphere in the upper dining section was lively and vibrant.
Will definitely be back!
My wife got her leftover gluten free chicken pizza . She drove all the way from Plymouth to Lansing 70 minute drive , I had the pizza and it was sooo good . The ingredients were fresh , even though I was too lazy to heat it up , I still loved it
Pretty good food stop, but not the best in the area.
1. Food: Ordered "Bison Is Gouda" and asked for Gluten Free bun. I didn't see Gluten Free options advertised on the menu (might need to add it there.) Extra 1USD for GF bun. French Onion Soup was ok. It wasn't very soupy. Quite a ton of onions for the small size bowl it comes in.
2. Service: Top notch in a nutshell. So is the seating area by the window.
3. Ambiance: Can get a bit noisy though, so I don't recommend this location for remote work.
4. Parking: Few free parking spots across the street, but not too many. When area is busy, extra free parking can be found at the Plymouth Public Library or a Public Parking structure nearby.
Overall, very nice spot to waste an hour or two and doesn't brake the bank either.
While hunting for dessert, we stumbled upon this place. It was fairly crowded for a Sunday noon but the employees were with it and kept the line moving quickly. They have rock n roll memorabilia that cover the walls throughout the store.
Their selection is great with dairy free, sugar free, and gluten free options. A very large selection of Ashby and Guernsey ice creams, shakes, flurries and sundaes. My favorite is house made waffle cones, so yum. Great treats and we really enjoyed.
The prices are fair and reasonable. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Limited parking but you can do street parking as-well. Enjoy a nice stroll through the downtown by getting your cone or cup to go.
We came here for the first time this week as we heard great things about it. We were seated shortly after we entered, and we were the only ones there. It wasn’t quite lunchtime. Service was great until they got Busier.
I requested a gluten-free menu which I was given, and I placed my order when we received our meal. I confirmed it was gluten-free With the waiter. It was NOT!
The food was amazing and I should’ve known at that point that it was not gluten-free because of how good it was!
I called a few hours later as it didn’t take long for me to start feeling symptoms and was told that the waiter was new and probably didn’t enter it incorrectly even after I confirmed with him I don’t wanna blame the waiter because he was new… I asked to speak to a manager there was no one available. I’m not looking for any type of compensation. I just wanted to mention the fact of how sick I already was and now I’m on day three of being ill and that maybe more education is needed in regards to gluten-free meals.
I would love to try this place again, but I’m just not sure I can trust eating here.
Just called them and the woman was rude. I was trying to verify that there wouldn’t be cross contamination making gluten free cupcakes. She seemed nothing that was funny. She kept interrupting me and laughed. I won’t
I was really excited to visit this restaurant, as it seems to have a good business. We met a friend here at 3 PM for a late lunch. We were not in a hurry, and the server was very respectful to allow us to visit. Of course, we made sure that we were not displacing other patrons. I really liked the atmosphere, we took a window seat. It was spacious and comfortable. Once we ordered, the food came out in a timely manner. The food was just OK. We had the salmon sandwich, the perch sandwich, and the nachos. One of us ordered a drink, and the other two coffee. the portions were ample and the presentation very nice. The coffee wasn’t great. Not real hot, and a little bit weak. The perch itself was very good, but the bread wasn’t fresh. The nachos had a lot of chips, but was light on the meat (pulled pork, which was tasty) and the salsa not my favorite. The prices were city-of-Plymouth-normal-pretty expensive. I would’ve liked to have a salad, but did not want to drop $20 for that. Most of what we ordered was around $15, which was fine. I will probably give Ironwood another try, perhaps pulled pork or perch on their gluten-free bread. Or try their gluten free pizza crust, which is an awesome thing to offer to their patrons. All in all, a pleasant place which could be awesome with a few tweaks. I give it a three because a Plymouth establishment has a high bar. If you like this review, please click on the Helpful button.

The food is super delicious!
My partner is vegetarian and gluten free and they can perfectly accommodate her needs. They have a clean restaurant with friendly staff. The parking is right in front of the restaurant, and the price was reasonable! A lot of my friends come here weekly since the food comes in an ample amount, it will 100% fill you up, with taste!
Love their vegetarian Spinach enchiladas with green sauce. This sauce is delicious!
They also have delicious Jamaica and horchata! I also like that I can have the enchiladas made with corn tortilla to avoid gluten.
Went here for another anniversary dinner and we will continue to go every year going forward. Jerry the owner is very personable and made us feel like special guest. The food was phenomenal and the chef even accommodated my gluten allergy. The bartender made perfect drinks as well. I am beyond impressed by this restaurant. Since it was our anniversary, they even treated us to a dessert. Thank you so much for a special evening.
Food is always fresh and tasty. Last visit, it was quite loud do to other folks there. Difficult to chat with my sister with crowd noise. Otherwise, it is always a positive visit. They have many gluten free options too!
Service was extremely slow. I have to be gluten-free so my choices were limited. The Michigan salad was delicious and even with the raspberry dressing I had no reaction. Everyone else loved their coney dogs.
Super aesthetic atmosphere, great customer service, friendly staff, great coffee!!!
The addition of a gluten free pastry option would put this place over the top.
Tried the Mac and cheese today, disappointed. Very strong in garlic not strong enough in cheese.
I appreciate the gluten free option.
Cream brûlée French toast is delicious but served Luke warm at best. The waitress did take off 10 percent, that is appreciated.
Typically very pleased, off day today
Very friendly staff, generous, welcoming.
Food is authentic, fresh, everything is made in house. Not greasy, and they make changes per request.
Great variety of North and South.
Gluten free and vegan options
