Hawaiian Bros has completely won me over especially with their Huli Huli Chicken! Tender, flavorful, and grilled to perfection, it is hands-down my go-to every time. As someone with celiac disease, I deeply appreciate that they offer clearly labeled gluten-free options without sacrificing taste or authenticity. It is such a relief to enjoy a delicious, safe meal without the stress.
But the real cherry on top? That Pineapple Soft Serve. Oh my goodness. It instantly transports me back to Hawaii with every sweet, creamy bite. It is like a mini vacation in a cup, smooth, tropical, and downright addictive. I could eat it every day and never get tired of it. LOVE, love, love it!
Whether you are gluten free or just craving island comfort food, Hawaiian Bros delivers with heart, flavor, and a whole lot of aloha. 🌸
Me and my husband had this for our baby free date night the other night. Had a gluten free Buffalo pizza and substituted the blue cheese for feta! And it was delicious! Cait our server was also very good at helping us! Will be visiting against
I got a steak and chicken fajitas. I gave the service 4 stars because I ordered corn tortillas and the kitchen gave me flour tortillas and I'm gluten free. The wait staff was great. I couldn't understand why I got one slice of a tomato normal slices of tomatoes for fajitas. All in all, a nice place to get some Mexican food
Wow Culver's drive-thru. How do you make a burger look so unappetizing?! Apparently you just THROW all the food in the boxes. And to not only disregard the request for NO CHEESE but to cover the now inedible pretzel bites with it. Specifically asked for ketchup, got none. Specifically asked for the gluten free bun NOT to be warmed, disregarded. Doubt I'll be coming back to this location.
My wife and I came here bc it was down the street from our hotel, at the intersection with 40 Hwy. The location is great right of 40 Hwy and I-470. We were seated quickly. My wife has Celiac so we are very selective of where we go out to eat. Cheddars just hit a home run for us. We both order the Baby Back Ribs and they came out perfectly. The meat came of the bones and I was seasoned superbly. We also ordered the Tropical Painkiller drinks. Wow that's a big and delicious drink. You can tell by the photo that it's no small drink compared to my wife's hands.
I spoke about being a Celiac conscious family. But, I get to eat gluten when we go out. That brings me to their Honey Butter Croissants, they are so flaky and delicious. We'll definitely be coming back when we go in town. In the meantime we'll go to the ones closer to us in Atlanta.
Saw this establishment out of happenstance and decided to stop in to give them a try. They did not disappoint. They have an awesome selection of gluten free pizzas, bread sticks, and deserts. Along with a variety of many regular and innovative menu items. The buffet and salad bar were also amazing. The thin crust pizzas were a little overdone on top for my preference, but still tasted awesome. I was also impressed by them adding requested pizzas to the buffet. The service was top tier and staff very friendly and pleasant. Ambience and atmosphere were also very comfortable. I highly recommend
I eat Chipotle literally every night. I have a gluten problem. I'm single and I work about 70 hours a week. I literally not sometimes literally always eat chipotle every single night for dinner. I should be sponsored by chipotle or at least on a commercial. I will not come back to this location.
The night shift over the last couple months, it's terrible. You're only going to get half servings, they give you one scoop, and then shake it off to half a scoop. When they do this, I ask for more. They say they will charge double, which is completely wrong. You mean to tell me for the full price of the meal? I cannot even get one scoop, not one whole scoop? I walk out. I have done it about 6 times this month. I don't care if they throw it away or not. Tonight, I went in to give them another chance. And that's what they do still. I will say I'm going to eat Chipotle every night right? Regardless, the adamsdairy location is absolutely awesome and the other 40 highway location, right off of 7, it's awesome. They give you what you pay for and they actually do are nice. This is also the rudest location. You will find. This location is worse than the 1 on 40 highway. In sterling, this is the most hood, it ran down c***** people location, there is. This place needs new management or ownership or to just torn down.Chipotle does not get worse than this location
This place is amazing!!! I'm gluten intolerant and they were so friendly and super kinda helping me navigate the menu! The FOOD is *Phenomenal* !!! So good, I can't even start to explain! You get a ton of filling, well prepared food for your money! AND the service is amazing!!
Walked in with very little idea what to expect. Which is, firstly, that you should have a reservation. The decor could be overwhelming if it wasn't so well put together. The restaurant is also an antique store, so a lot, if not all, of the decor, is for sale, along with another floor or two of antiques, which I did not visit.
Back to the lack of reservation - the manager said they could serve the two of us in half an hour, and we were welcome to view the garden in the meantime. The garden is gorgeous, with plenty of shade along the walkway, and outdoor seating and it was somehow cooler there than anywhere else on this summer day.
When it was time for us to order, it was a tough decision. Menu items range in price mostly from $16-30. It was more than I'd anticipated, but not unreasonable. I wanted to eat light, and got salmon and herbed cream cheese bruschetta, minus the bread, since I'm gluten free. My companion got a housemade chicken salad sandwich with a side of potato salad.
The portion sizes completely justified the price. I got 4 thin slices of salmon rolled up with cream cheese (the server said the kitchen had fun making that) on a bed of shredded romaine, topped with housemade (bread & butter style) pickles, picked red onion, sliced hard boiled egg, crumbled goat cheese, and capers. There was a slice of orange and of watermelon on the side. The chicken salad was on thick toasted bread. It also came with fruit and pickles. We both decided the pickles were tasty, but too spicy.
We considered dessert, but were already taking home half of our meals, so we declined. The options were lemon cake with mascarpone filling, flourless chocolate torte, or créme bruleé.
UPDATE 6/22/23:
Went with my husband for our anniversary. Dinner entrée prices range from $20-60.
I had a grilled salmon with apricot sauce, rice pilaf and sautéed vegetables on the side. My husband got a tenderloin steak with loaded baked potato and sautéed vegetables. I got dessert this time! Creme brulee with berries - a traditional nutmeg custard.
We also walked around the upper floors and in the gardens. The ambience is magical.
EXCELLENT!! Cooked perfectly. Yes, they have Gluten-Free. We were just passing through and looked it up online. We'll remember it when we come through Independence again.
The service was excellent. We arrived after they had been slammed for Father's Day, so nobody seemed happy to be there, but I can't blame them. That aside, the cook on the food and the waitress we had were top notch. The quality of the meat cuts left little to be desired, just ok, and you have VERY limited options for gluten free sauces, appetizers, and desserts. The place was not that clean, probably because of the busy time they'd just been through, however, the menus and many surfaces were sticky or tacky and unpleasant. I needed to wash my hands from touching the drink menu. This while the wait staff were standing in a group, Im sure recovering from a significant rush. Drinks from the bar were excellent. I think next time we'll choose a less busy time to go.
I met with some friends there on Sunday 5/4 for the brunch buffet. The decor is quite dated (50’s to 70’s), dark with glass and brass, which was nostalgic for me. All of the buffet food was room temp, which was quite disappointing and unpleasant (especially the hollandaise, it really affected the texture). The plate of various meats that were brought to the table were warm but very overcooked. I also found the seasoning very inconsistent, some things needed salt, other things had too much salt. Our server, Cheryl, was fantastic, attentive and friendly. The bathroom was quite small and difficult to move around in if you were in there with another person. They were also down some steep stairs. One of my party has mobility issues and didn’t feel safe using them. Another of my party needed Gluten Free and there wasn’t much available to her, the server kindly offered to bring her some ice cream. This was overall a disappointing experience considering it was $30.

Was so looking forward to eating here, but was greatly disappointed. I have food allergies/intolerances and checked the menu out prior to going. I verified online that the pad Thai was gluten and dairy free. I made it clear that I could not have these things and verified that with the staff that the pad Thai was in fact gluten and dairy free. I should have known when the cooks were not confident with their answer. Instead I went ahead and got the food. It was super spicy with basically on omelet on top. Within 10 minutes of eating I got horrible stomach pains. I am confident that they were not careful when cooking my food. I will never eat here again.
We had my moms 60th birthday at 3 trails and they catered our event! Their pizza and salads were delicious but I really loved the little details. They were able to accommodate gluten free and dairy free options! I had asked prior if they could make little signs as to what ingredient was in each pizza and they made the cutest little signs! There customer service was beyond amazing! Everyone said the pizza were delicious!
Today was my first visit to McAlister’s- I am allergic to gluten and soy (which is in nearly everything)! And a gentleman stood there and helped me step by step to assure my salad was safe to eat. Thank you to him and to everyone else who participated in preparing my food! You are all amazing!
The food here is so good! We just found this place a few days ago and have already gone twice! I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. They also have gluten free soy sauce so they can make most of their dishes gluten free, which was huge for the hubs! I can’t believe they also have a drive through!
So i will be coming back for sure! Recently I am having to have soy and gluten free They list allergens on sign next to each flavor. And they even have dairy free options if you need.
We could not have had a better experience! The waiter was so helpful and kind, and the food was great. I got a dish with broccoli, and it was green, fresh, and tasty. I have a gluten allergy, and the manager came over to our table and told me they were going to change gloves, make sure everything was handled properly, and they would take good care of me. I felt so safe, and I did not get sick later, so I know they did a great job. I was SO SO SO impressed and happy! For anyone with a food allergy, eating out can be a scary and isolating experience, but I was so pleased with how everything was handled. I will definitely be back! ❤️ The other people I was with were also very happy with their food. A+
My family loves this place! The servers are always super nice and the prices are great. I wish they had more options that were dairy and gluten free and/or had an allergens menu. However, overall you can't beat this place if you love seafood and you live in a landlocked state!
