My daughter has a gluten allergy that makes her extremely nauseous and causes pain when she consumes it. Tonight our server assured us that they cooked it in a different fryer and my daughter got the chicken fingers. She feels amazing afterwards, coming up to me a few minutes ago asking if we could go back soon. Of course we can honey, dad always wants a shrimp Po' Boy. Truly like an east coast oyster bar. Love this place.

My son has allergies to wheat, dairy, egg, and nuts, so finding a place to go out is a challenge. We tried First Round after reading about their gluten free and vegan options online. The waiter listened to our concerns and had no problems asking the kitchen if he didn't know an answer to our question. We ordered the street tacos, and when they came to the table, we realized they were made with street corn (containing cheese) and not roasted corn like we thought. They immediately boxed up those tacos (and sent them home with us at no charge) and remade the tacos for my son with no dairy. He thought they were great! I had a chicken sandwich where the chicken was crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. We will definitely be repeat customers, as there is so much more on the menu we want to try.

Delicious ice cream and good non dairy and gluten free options. There's usually a wait and no room to wait inside.

We have stopped in twice on every visit so far to Omaha and can't recommend it enough. I can't eat gluten and they've always been great about ensuring my food as is as safe as possible (given the cross contamination possibilities in any pizza shop). The liguriano in particular is unmatched, def grab that when you visit, but can't go wrong with the rest of their pizza too.

WOW! Flexible. Fun. Phenomenal food. My company reserved the entire restaurant for our holiday party in 2023. The owners who helped us, Jen and Jaclyn, were incredibly helpful in the planning and made my life extremely easy. All of the planning and communication went through them. We were able to work very far in advance to settle food and drink options. There was also an undetermined amount of guests, which usually creates quite a hassle with venues. Not for this team. They were able to adjust the amount of food and drink WHILE THE PARTY WAS HAPPENIING, helping us stay within budget and feed all our guests. What a dream! In terms of communication, I would receive reply emails well within a day and sometimes earlier. They helped me plan the food and drink menu with custom signature cocktails and desserts. They also ensured that our menu included something for everyone: vegetarian, gluten, dairy, etc. The food: unreal. Every single thing they served was gone within minutes. Every attendee was raving about how amazing the food was. If you plan to have an event here (which I unequivocally recommend you do), I would seek the help of the owners, who know the menu and portion sizes best. The highlights from the attendees were the wings, mac and cheese, and butternut squash ravioli. The venue has a surround sound speaker system, so we were able to make announcements very easily. The microphone was wireless so the MC was able to move around at will. While no announcements were being made, they played a perfect holiday soundtrack (and it was loud enough to aid the ambiance, but not so loud to distract conversations). They were flexible with moving furniture as needed. They decorated the place so we didn't have to. The took care of all things food and drink. I cannot say enough great things about this business and my experience with them. I am truly grateful. I have also been there a few times for a normal meal. Love the tots, the lemon pancakes, and the caramel and apple french toast. But my favorite is 'the morning dilemma' sandwich, though the 'get in my belly' is a close second. Thank you Sips on 10th! Can't wait to come back.

Update: Excellent customer service! Admitted the issue with too much baking soda. We tried it again today the tomato mozzarella gf scone was delicious!!! Also the breakfast sandwich the bombolino was amazing 🤩 Also noticed a barista tasting the coffee to make sure it was prepared correctly! They are really taking the reviews to heart. Awesome to see! Previously:Met friends for coffee. We got 2 drinks and 2 gluten free bakery items. The coffee tasted like a seven dollar glass of chocolate milk and the gluten-free items were not good. Way too much baking soda in the scones 🤷🏻‍♀️ and the muffin just fell apart… crumbs. Perhaps should be served in a cup and eating with a spoon?!? Sad because it’s a beautiful building well restored. I wish the food and drink were better so that I could enjoy the space.
