My son has allergies to wheat, dairy, egg, and nuts, so finding a place to go out is a challenge. We tried First Round after reading about their gluten free and vegan options online. The waiter listened to our concerns and had no problems asking the kitchen if he didn't know an answer to our question. We ordered the street tacos, and when they came to the table, we realized they were made with street corn (containing cheese) and not roasted corn like we thought. They immediately boxed up those tacos (and sent them home with us at no charge) and remade the tacos for my son with no dairy. He thought they were great! I had a chicken sandwich where the chicken was crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. We will definitely be repeat customers, as there is so much more on the menu we want to try.

The gluten-free options and the SkinnyLicious menu made it easy for both of us to find delicious meals that fit our dietary needs. We were impressed that there were gluten-free options on every page of the menu, even for dessert! We enjoyed the garden salads, spicy shrimp pasta (gluten-free), and the four cheese pasta. The portions were huge, and while my only small complaint was the shrimp portion (around 60 grams), my wife loved her four cheese pasta so much, she polished off the entire dish and salad (she’s 122 lbs!).
We couldn’t leave without taking home 5 different cheesecakes to enjoy later. Overall, this was a five-star experience, largely thanks to Pat’s exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!

A couple weeks ago we brought are kids in, it was me and my mom with my five kids and three nephews. We for sure thought it would be a circus. But the staff were so nice and helpful. Gluten free pizza by the slice 🤯 and it was great! The crust struggles a little to hold up to the toppings, but I'm not gonna complain because they were amazing and I'd rather have too much than too little for sure. This *WAS* one of my husband's favorite places to eat. We went to the West Omaha location today. Our last visit was not great but we wanted to try again. We were seated quickly. The server was ok but I really felt like we were more of a bother to her. Due to allergies issues I asked for a gluten free menu which the server was very willing to get and checked a couple items for ingredients which is necessary but much appreciated. We ordered some cocktails during the happy hour time frame. I really wanted the siracha bacon in the bloody Mary cocktail but apparently the bar was unwilling to provide that which was unfortunate. We had to ask for the upcharge to be removed from our bill as it was still on there.
My husband's favorite dish (which he raves over) is the Sharon enchiladas so we both got them, I just had mine made with corn tortillas. Honestly, I was very unimpressed. The chicken was not even seasoned, it even needed salt, it was a bit dry and no sauce inside. My husband didn't think it was done right. I can bake tender chicken shred it, wrap it in a tortilla and top with pepperjack. I promise I can do far better at home because I would ensure the flavor and sauce was on point. What's the point in eating out if it doesn't wow me. I'm a good cook; this was bland and lazy, surely they use to have better quality in the past for my husband to have raved previously. We definately got the impression that we and the other 2 tables were intruding on the loud abnoxious party the employees seemed to be having at the bar. We didn't feel like guests, we felt like intruders to a private employee party. They were so loud and it was like we were a burden or an annoyance to them. I guess they "loudly" care more about woke gender politics than guests.
Additionally, when someone has an allergy to something and therefore can not have a certain side, the restaurant should give more than 1 option and not be unwilling to accommodate. In this case the only option I was allowed was beans. Do better please.
Side note: this is the second time we have had bad service here. Hopefully the downtown location cares about their patrons or you may not have many soon.
P.S. If a manager comes on and dismisses things like I've seen done to other guest's reviews, then don't be surprised when you no longer have a business. Take the feedback seriously, better yet, let's get Gordon Ramsey's opinion!!!

Being that I am obsessed with coffee, and had been exploring the RiverFront/Downtown, I wanted to find a local shop for a late latte to-go.
Imagine how very happy I was to see Godega was open late. Elated by the rare favorite a Rose Oat Latte 🌹 and grabbed a locally made, gluten free, protein rich - O’Cookie’O 🍩 - for the drive home.

Decided on trying something new while we were in Omaha. There's a kids menu and also they have gluten free pizza which my wife loved. 2 pizzas and a kids meal and with chips and drinks for under 40.
