Omg I loved this restaurant so much! They are so accommodating because my mom and I couldn’t have gluten, rice, beans, or corn so they let us know what everything we thought about ordering had before we ordered it. The oysters are the BEST, and I had the king crab which was so good and so filling. My mom ordered the blackened yellowfin tuna which was also so good. Delicious food and great service 10/10. Many servers came over to check on us to see if everything was okay. There are a few places to sit: under the tent, sun room, bar, upstairs. Nice view from each seat but mostly the sun room. Definitely will be coming back when I’m in Rhode Island again.
Nearly all items on the extensive menu can be made gluten free. I had fish and chips! Which was excellent. The fish was so fresh and tender, the chips were chip/French fries. I also got a little loaf of gluten free bread! Also amazing with the cinnamon maple butter. And if you are so fortunate enough to have the server Julianne, your whole experience will be made better. You will leave feeling happier and know she truly cared about your food and dining experience. Her knowledge about gluten free food, caring attitude and willingness to go above and beyond should well be noted. I love, love love everything about this restaurant and can't wait to go back, and hope that Julianne will be working. A++++

Food here is great and always proportioned well.Samosas, Chicken tikka, and ANY Lamb dish are a go to. Wash it down with a Tamarind Margarita and you are having yourself a night.
Many Gluten Free options
Great place for breakfast and lunch! I love that they offer gluten free bread and wraps as well as some premade gluten free snacks. My favorite part is being to get a breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread! It makes my whole day. Staff is very patient when asking about ingredients in their sandwiches. I don't drink coffee, so I can't review that part.
This was a fun place to go with friends. They had some gluten free options, which was nice. I didn't see a lot of GF on the menu, but I could have missed something. Great coffee shop!
This place is a hidden gem! It’s spotless and has a cool, modern vibe. Our family had an amazing time. The servers were super friendly and greeted us right away with a smile. The menu was huge, like a fresh take on breakfast! I was surprised to see how many unique, specially made menu options they had (including gluten free options) that I haven’t seen anywhere else in town. (It took me a while to decide!) The portions were huge, and the smoothie and coffee selection was incredible! The waitress was attentive and kept our coffees fresh. At the end of our meal, the manager came over to chat with us about our experience. We’ll definitely be back to Rachel’s Cafe this summer because it’s a great place to fill our belly’s directly on the way to our favorite beach!
Mom and Pop shop! We were in town for the weekend for a wedding and stopped in twice. They offer gluten free options for all the sandwiches even the fried/breaded chicken cutlet ones which I have had yet to find in the New York, New Jersey area. We were also impressed with the service - everyone was so friendly! Definitely a must to stop in :)
Best Thai food in the area. The lunch deal is really good and the Thai iced tea is quite good as well.
Also they are super veggie and gluten free friendly.
What a fantastic find! I only ended up here because a major storm left me stranded at a hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The menu is refreshingly straightforward, featuring a concise yet perfect selection of dishes, including gluten-free options. The service was impeccable, and, most crucially, the cuisine was exceptional. It's unquestionably a culinary treasure worth discovering. I eagerly anticipate my next visit!
I have been meaning to write this review for awhile and just got around to it! Book your private events HERE!!!! I celebrated my graduation here with about 20ish fam//friends! What a FANTASTIC expereince. Jackie led the event, with Chef Jeff as the chef, and Bruno as the bussed/ overall help. Wow. What I wanted from this celebration was a place where everyone within my fam/friends could relax, laugh, enjoy good food, and overall be in good company (within our party and within the staff). Caf bar gave us all of this. We also had 2 individuals who were gluten free, and Caf bar was very accommodating. I could not have asked for a better day to celebrate graduating college. Thanks Caf Bar! We still talk about this day!!!
Great little place! We had the Crispy Shrimp Lad Prik and the Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken, both was delicious. They have lots of Gluten Free options.
This Mexican restaurant opened on August 22 and it has been packed with wait lines since. Seems like mid afternoon on a Sunday is a good time to visit. We still had about a 15 minute wait but it was well worth it. Diego, our waiter, was attentive, described foods with which we were not familiar and served us well. My husband had the Colorado Burrito (spicy enough to enjoy without discomfort) and I had the steak bowl. Although corn and flour tortillas are in most traditionally Mexican foods, I was able to get a corn-free, gluten-free meal that was delicious. Portions are huge and could easily feed two to three people. Entrees are priced from $13-$19.
GLUTEN-FREE DONUTS! My wife rejoiced! I had the RI Slammah (bacon and egg on a kinda big glazed donut... It was great!).
I have always said that college towns have the best food.
Restaurant was incredibly crowded for 11:15am on a Tuesday but we were seated right away! Lots of options on Menu including Gluten-Free Toast and GF Johnny Cakes! Even though there were lots of customers our food came out extremely fast and was all we asked for! Server was friendly and very accommodating! Definitely will be back again! A great local RI cafe!
