Matunuck Oyster Bar

Omg I loved this restaurant so much! They are so accommodating because my mom and I couldn’t have gluten, rice, beans, or corn so they let us know what everything we thought about ordering had before we ordered it. The oysters are the BEST, and I had the king crab which was so good and so filling. My mom ordered the blackened yellowfin tuna which was also so good. Delicious food and great service 10/10. Many servers came over to check on us to see if everything was okay. There are a few places to sit: under the tent, sun room, bar, upstairs. Nice view from each seat but mostly the sun room. Definitely will be coming back when I’m in Rhode Island again.

This is my favorite restaurant ever. Beautiful views, relaxed atmosphere, great drinks and great seafood. They even have a bunch of gluten free options which is amazing as I have a close friend with celiac. I've loved everything I've ever eaten here, but those bourbon oysters are really unbelievable such that I need to order them every time I go.

Shared raw oysters, bourbon oysters, shrimp cocktail, I always think of ordering more and just filling up here. But I moved on to the tuna tartare tacos (always) and shared the mussels. Delicious, this place always leaves me very full, very satisfied, yet wanting more, it’s a unique and fine line they walk. Suggestion: Have a mussels frites option listed on the menu (popular and a good broth delivery system for gluten free patrons who can’t use the baguette).
