Beautiful cycle route, one way 14 km. You can rent a bicycle on both sides of the trail. Route with several nice cafes (many gluten-free dishes such as Quakers restaurant and Hasselt station, both on the route). The stepping stones (walk about 1 hour, just Google it and you will find it, it is part of the route) is fun and also a beautiful route through nature. This walking route is less suitable for children up to 6 years old. Recommended!

Visited for lunch and a drink on a Saturday. Excellent pizzas and garlic bread, good beer (including several gluten free options), friendly staff and spotlessly clean facilities. My only complaint is that the selection of beer on tap could have been a little better - lots of Lager/IPA and a couple of pink grapefruit beers. A little more variety, especially more fruit options would have been nice.

GLUTEN FREE BAKEWELL TART Very dry, oversweet, tasteless, overpriced. I paid £16.30 for a tart that would not fill a saucer. It was so bad even though it was small, I ended up throwing most of it away. Who could charge £16.30 for something that should not be for sale is beyond me. I buy Gluten free products from various suppliers and this is the worst thing I have eaten. It was so dry and very very sweet, no flavour at all, just sweet, little jam, certainly no almond. I am often blowen away with gluten free products these days but all of these tarts need binning. I went out on Sunday night had a lovely Gluten Free meal it was full of flavour and was a delight to eat, I was stuffed afterwards, it cost me £15.99.

Bought a gluten free sandwich from here today to take out. They had no buns so sliced bread only. It was hard and felt like previously it had been frozen. It was the greyest, hardest, most awful sandwich I have ever eaten. It cost £8 for what would have cost 1.50 to make (that’s me being generous). The girls working there were lovely but the place had no atmosphere either. This isn’t local to me but for gluten free it’s one to avoid 100%.

Me and my parents visited The Robin Hood on Sunday for Mothers Day and had such a great experience. The food was great, and catered perfectly for my Mum who is Gluten Free! A standout for us was Olivia our waitress, who was very helpful with the menu and also super happy and positive about how much she loved her job. Amazing! So glad I stopped in. Dog friendly, baby changing facilities and loads, and I mean loads, of gluten free options on the menu! Super friendly staff, welcomed from the moment we stepped through the door. Great coffee and lovely food. We sat outside in the sun, had a lovely atmosphere. I'll definitely be back

My favourite tea room in Bakewell. Highly recommend for hot drink and cake or light meal. Very friendly staff. Also, they do a very good gluten-free Bakewell Tart.

Stopped for coffee and cake at this hidden gem. Very friendly staff, good sized portions. My only issue was that the gluten free options weren't displayed separately which risks cross contamination.

Very friendly staff. The young man who served us was very careful to give us exactly what we wanted. Knowledgeable regarding gluten free dietary requirements. There was no awkward silence as we waited for food to cook as he happily chatted and at one point was joined by someone from the back. We observed this friendly approach several times as others came in for food.
