The BEST gluten free pizza with freshly made pizza dough. Absolutely delicious.
Lovely friendly, helpful staff, quick service, great environment, the list goes on. What a fantastic experience to end our trip to Liverpool. If this establishment was in my home town - I would be there every week. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Omgness. Gluten free and wonderful. Many options to choose from, and most of them were absolutely bursting with flavor. Wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in the right spot for your meal, and getting your money's worth.
Really nice visit to this after a meander down Bold Street. The food was great - I ended up having their soup, and the latte was great too. Chilled vibes, and such a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Reasonably priced too, with local artists’ artwork on display for sale too.
Only downside is it’s two floors up via a staircase, so if you have limited mobility or are wheelchair bound, I’m not sure how you’d get there (unless there’s a lift I missed!)
Really recommend giving them a visit - roughly a 10 minute walk from the Lime Street station.
Absolutely outstanding. Wonderful service, staff and food. I love the atmosphere. I would say "french bistro". Definitely my type of place. I loved the fact that they couldn't do enough for my gluten free daughter. The supply of food and drink was so nice. And their gluten free menu is worth it. I will be coming back and bringing my family. Very good value for money.
Had bottomless brunch here yesterday and all 22 of us were looked after really well by the staff especially Jenson! Amazing service and the pizzas were great, also great gluten free pizza and flowing drinks
We came here as the restaurant looks so nice. There were lots of empty tables but took so long to be seated. We explained my Mum was gluten free and they left a book of ingredients on our table with no explanation of what my Mum could order. To say the service is slow is an understatement. We waited ages for our drinks and food. My Mum's gluten free sandwich was dry, no butter and tasteless. We then waited so long for the bill I had to go up to the bar to pay. There are so many wonderful, quirky places to get here so I would most definitely NOT recommend Leaf.
Lovely food, friendly staff. Portions are big (pizza/pasta). Gluten free menu available, would be nice to see either a gf pizza or a pasta on the menu though
The kebab was excellent (chicken and lamb) it just melted in my mouth. My wife, who is gluten-free, had a great choice off their GF menu. Again, the meal was fantastic, and the staff explained any alternative in detail. We will definitely be going there again.
This is nothing like a typical Indian restaurant, look modern, stylish and a bit like a canteen. When food arrived on paper
Plates and bowls we were a bit apprehensive, but we had nothing to fear. Food was absolutely delicious, we tried 6 dishes off the menu and every single thing tasted delicious, the orca salt and pepper fries were amazing. I am gluten free and found plenty to choose from. Would recommend this place to everyone
Good overall, we asked for vegetarian gluten-free options and were presented with a specialised gluten-free menu. Impressive, but then all main courses were meat :-(. Asked a second time and said vegetarian gluten-free and received a Vegan Menu with main courses including gluten. It's not a great start when you consider food intolerances have huge effects on people's lives. After a poor start, the food was outstanding. Dips came with gluten-free pittas, which was fantastic, and chips were cooked separately for my GF friend. I had the chicken souvla, which was fabulous.
Would recommend and return.
Lovely attentive staff. Had the set lunch menu which was very filling and good value if you had the meat options. Excellent gluten free range and staff very knowledgeable. Will return!
Fast service and delicious food! You get great value for money on the portions, and we loved the option of gluten-free pasta. We booked in advance to guarantee a table, which was probably a good move. However, I don't think that this is strictly necessary, as you would only really need to wait a few minutes.
Really wonderful place with great service.
Great sized portions and delicious food.
Menu is very well labelled with gluten and dairy free options so you cannot go wrong.
As long as the rice doesn't have the 'labneh' you're good!!!
Went on spec, on the basis of earlier reviews and it was such excellent vegetarian food that we went again with our daughter the next night. She has gluten intolerance and was brought a special menu from which to choose. Excellent, wish we lived nearer!
Top class. We had a fantastic lunch here. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. But best of all, the food was delicious.
I had the Sea bass and it was really exceptional, so fresh and cooked to perfection. Washed down with a yummy house white wine.
Dietary requirements well catered for. Being Gluten and dairy free I was well looked after. Won't be long before I return as need to try their Gluten free pasta!
Highly recommended.
We came as part of a group and we had a great time, all of the family were involved. We had two gluten free diners and they were not left out as all of the food was prepared and came at the same time
Amazing service for a private party of 30 people downstairs - lovely room with private bar, delicious food (banquet B!) followed by fab karaoke. Dave & his team were a personal highlight! He really looked after us, especially one guest who is gluten free, and kept the party going until closing time! We will definitely be back! Thank you, again!
One visit isn’t enough. I popped in and placed a take away order, however, having an intolerance to gluten, I never know if I will pop out of a place with a food option. The staff at Big Bowl Noodle Bar were diligent to ensure my order was gluten free. The meal I ordered was delicious and the amount lead to leftovers for another meal!! Pleasant experience, lovely service, and tasty food!
Amazing evening.
FOOD: On the mid - expensive end of the spectrum but worth every penny. My wife is gluten free and they did amazing things without gluten (the fish and chips was astounding).
STAFF: Just lovely from start to finish. They look for ways to make it special for you.
DRINKS: Amazing cocktails.
TOILETS: I don't usually comment on toilets but go to the toilet and you'll find out why.
Went with a group of friends. Food excellent. Knowlegeable about gluten free and cross contamination which was so reassuring for someone with Coeliac disease.
Love this place and been ordering for a couple of years from Lark Lane store but recently some items haven’t been available a lot of the time. They have also stopped writing ‘GF/Gluten Free’ on the boxes so you have to guess which is gluten which is really not good when you have coeliacs because you can’t risk it. Gluten free isn’t always a diet choice so you need to change this!
